We went into this store today to buy a cake. I couldn't see all the flavors of cakes in the fridge so I opened the fridge to take a look. Almost immediately the person behind the counter very rudely told me to close the fridge because he said it gets warm. My husband and I had absolute best Sundays from Baskin Robbins today with the Jamocha almond fudge, ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. The way it's supposed to be. Ordered 2 Oreo milkshakes. The young woman who took the order was clueless - literally acted like she'd never heard of a milkshake in her life. There was no manager or supervisor for her to ask how to make them - like it's that hard to put ice cream and milk in a blender! Took 15 minutes and it came in these very tiny cups. $12.00 for 2 kiddie sized milkshakes. Was very disappointed because we've been here before and it was great - probably because there was a manager on duty. Also the music was very loud and there was an annoyingly loud whining noise. Not a comfortable place to sit and have a treat. Hint to the owners - either train your staff or have someone there to step in. Had the WORST experience here last week. I ordered two oreo milkshakes through DoorDash. Each milkshake was 8 dollars, plus a 3 dollar delivery fee, plus a tip. For two milkshakes I ended up paying 25 dollars which was fine because the point was for me to not have to leave the house to go get them. The driver dropped my order at the door and left, when I opened the door there was only one milkshake and a little bag that contained a single scoop of ice cream. I immediately called the store (because DoorDash won't do anything) and told them they made my order wrong and I paid a buttload for two milkshakes that I didn't even get. The girl I talked to tried to blame it on the delivery guy because "he doesn't speak english". How is it the delivery guys fault? He doesn't walk in and make the orders! It was the store's responsibility to make the order correctly. I asked if I drove to the store, can they make me the milkshake that I ordered and paid for. She assured me that if I came to pick it up they would have it ready. I drove to the store (which completely defeated the purpose of ordering delivery) and walked in. No one even acknowledged me. I got someone's attention and said I had just called and I'm there for the milkshake. The girl says "okay, you talked to *girl's name* and she's in the back talking to the manager. I said okay and waited probably 7-10 minutes for this girl to come out of the back. She comes out and I tell her I had called about the milkshake and I'm there to pick it up. She then says that the manager said I have to pay the price difference between the single scoop I received and the milkshake that I want. I explained that I already paid 25 dollars that included a delivery fee, a tip for the driver, AND I still had to drive across town. I'm absolutely not paying another 5 dollars because they messed up my order. She had a complete attitude and argued with me. I asked to talk to the manager and she said I can't because he/ she wasn't there. I explained one last time that it is not fair for me to pay 30 bucks for two mediocre milkshakes. She then rolled her eyes at me, and began to make the milkshake. She puts it on the counter when it was done with ice cream that spilled over all down the sides, slaps a lid on that makes more drips stroll down the cup and says "HERE". The main points of the story are the customer service was trash, the girls who were on duty that night had trash attitudes and why would anyone think it's okay to blame someone else for YOUR mistakes thinking it's okay because they "don't speak English"? I ordered a cake for my sons birthday, the worker wrote down the correct date with the wrong day of the week. The owner called me one time during dinner the night before pickup to clarify and didn't leave a message then just didn't make my cake. When my mother in law arrived to pick up she said she called over and over and nobody answered so she went with the later date. She called one time and didn't leave a message. Why not just make my cake to be safe? When I went in to speak with her she blamed her workers and offered me a $10 gift card to make up for my son not having his birthday cake. I was really excited that baskin Robbins was coming back to Redding. The first time I visited, the ice cream and service was great and I was excited to go back and try a milkshake. However, the second visit was far from satisfactory. The 4 young girls working didn't seem to know what they were doing and had to keep asking each other if items were on the menu and how to make things. Two $6 cookies and cream shakes were served in fairly small sundae cups, tasted like watered down ice cream, and were served without straws. Hard to justify the cost when the taste isn't justifiable. There are better options in the Redding area with much better results. Maybe this store doesn't serve milkshakes? read more

O. M. G.!!! What a bummer of a visit. So I paid for my ice cream. She gave me back $0.22 it was supposed to be $7.22. So she called over somebody with a different colored name tag and either one could not figure out how to open the cash register or how to give me my money back. So as it won't let me buy a cookie and that way that'll open your register and I can get my change and be on my way. So I did I paid for a cookie, she figured out how to give me my change after about 10 minutes. So I get home and she doesn't put the cookie in the bag oh O. M. G.
