So I told him and picked my flavors, he scooped the first flavor like he was not even trying to scoop, it was not even a full scoop then he went for the second flavor and did it again even less, when I asked to see the ice cream He got mad and said would you like me to weigh it with a sarcastic tone. I love this location. They are always so nice, helpful and sweet It's family owned franchise and they are absolutely wonderful. They always have some great deals and coupons going on too. I noticed they have about 5 different styles of cake but only have 2 different flavors available for ice cream cake. Strawberry and ____, & Cookies n' cream. My family went with cookies n' cream since I'm allergic to strawberries. We bought 2 cakes but same flavor. The standard style with a happy birthday and a cake that looked like a panda face. Bought 3 kids ice cream cones. I think we will come back to this location again since they serve daiquiri ice my sisters favorite flavor. Just had the worst Baskin-Robbins experience of my life. My wife ordered a scoop of ice cream and didn't get it. My kids ordered kids scoops and we got charged adult scoops. I ordered a scoop of ice cream and got charged a double. Three guys "working" (one was just standing around) and none spoke English well, they didn't even speak Spanish. The guy who scooped my ice cream asked me if I wanted a cap. I said, "A what?" He said, "Do you want a cap?" This went on three times then one of the other guys bumped his shoulder and told him it was a "cup." I'm cool with foreigners and respect them for coming to America for a better life, BUT if they're going to work retail they should at least be able to speak the lingo of the job. One of the guys was wearing sunglasses the whole time at 8:30 pm. (WTF?) When I looked at the receipt and discovered the wrong charges, it took all three of them to figure it out. They couldn't void the transaction and start anew. They couldn't refund the overcharge via the credit card machine. After I scribbled it on paper and they added it up (multiple times) with a phone calculator app, they issued the refund in cash. I had asked for "a scoop" of ice cream and they were adamant that I got two scoops and wanted to charge me as such. I ended up just telling them that I didn't want it and gave it back as everyone in my family had finished eating. The refund process took ten minutes plus and I was pissed they were trying to charge me for two scoops when I had asked for "a scoop." If they actually gave me two scoops or not (didn't look like it) should be irrelevant. Now they get to throw the ice cream away (with toppings on it) instead of selling it to me for the price of the one scoop I asked for. SUPER HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I should have kept driving by there and gone to the Northridge store at Balboa and Devonshire where we normally go. They know us there. We're in multiple times a month. Great location with great friendly staff that if they make a mistake in the customer's favor, they shrug it off. I ALWAYS leave the Northridge store satisfied. read more

I visited this store on 6/1/2022. It was my son's 28th birthday. Being he's Autistic he was very picky about which type of ice cream cake he wanted. "Vanilla Cake, Vanilla Frosting, Vanilla Ice Cream; ONLY! " ( Even though he's 28 he's like a 10 year old kid due to his Autism) Well, I was looking but couldn't find anything. I saw that there were combinations of the 3 requirements but not all in 1 cake. An employee named 'Gina' came up to us right away & offered her assistance. She was totally awesome!!! . She spent about 20 minutes helping us & was very, very patient & kind to my son while looking for his cake. And she was always smiling. Made us feel soo comfortable! After showing him a few different cakes, she finally found one that suited him. Everything Vanilla like he wanted. Really cool looking b-day balloons were on top. There was no where to write 'happy birthday' on the cake but she improvised & took care of it. She even gave him a free birthday crown for him to wear & he loved it! I didn't get any because I wanted to get 3 cones and take them home to my family, but after decades of being in business Baskin-Robbins hasn't figured out how to make a way to carry cones home. I just assumed they would have one. I'm no engineer, but I can think of at least 3 ways to make a take-home tray.
