Brought our grand kids in on MLK day and it looked like they were going out of business. At least half of the flavors were empty or completely missing. Only because I have to put a star I gave it a one. I ordered thanksgiving turkey cake the system allowed me to place a pick up on thanksgiving. I went in that Monday before. Asked the 2 girls working if they were open one said yes the other said no. Then she said if we are open I'm quitting. I said please find out and have a manger call me. No call I go to pick up they are closed. So I called and ask to speak to a manger and I am told " no manger works here" they just come and go I'll have one call you have called 4 times and still no call from a manger. The last time I called a worker said let me call my manger. He comes back on the phone and says I know it's not right but manger nothing they can do and there will not call back. Sorry Sounds like the kids working there just kinda have free rain to do as they want. I would look for another place to order from or call everyday and confirm they will be open. Ordered a cake online on April 15 and received a call the afternoon before I was set to pick it up (April 27) saying "yeah sorry we don't have the kit to make that so what do you wanna do?" When I said I wanted a refund, I was hit with "hmm not sure we can do that since you ordered online." No manager has returned my call. I had to scramble on a Friday night to find a cake and decorate it for my son's birthday. I rarely leave reviews unless service is exceptionable or deplorable and sadly this was the latter. Poor customer service and completely irresponsible not to check if the kits were in stock when the cake was ordered or maybe at least a FEW days in advance? I stopped at Baskin and Robbins today, Sunday May 30th for two quarts of ice cream. I was greeted by a nice young lady dressed in black. The lady promptly asked if she could assist me, and I inquired about ice cream cakes. After looking over the available selection in the freezer section, I decided to opt for a quart of chocolate chip mint, and Jamoka almond fudge. The nice young lady was very courteous and professional. I have been doing business with this store for quite some time, and never had the great service extended to me today. We go to this Baskin Robbins about once every month or two (don't live in Anthem) we go to the park nearby and always stop in for a cappuccino drink. Both my husband and myself. We were just in the other day and the bathroom is still Out Of Order! It has been this way for a couple of months now. The owner should spend a little money and get whatever is wrong with it fixed, a customer shouldn't have to go next door to Subway and use theirs as the girl suggested. I am sure Subway doesn't really enjoy everyone who is not purchasing anything from them using their bathroom. Also, for as much as the Cappuccino Blast have gone up (and now they want tips on top of the price) in price over the last couple of years, you should give the customer a decent size scoop of ice-cream. My husband or myself barely tasted any of the ice-cream. Also, EVERY Baskin Robbin gives military discount, except this one, SHAMEFULL!! The staff is friendly enough but I was shocked by how filthy the store was. The floor looked like it hasn't been mopped in months and do not look behind the pink chairs in the front by the windows, there were dead bugs and piles of dust and hair. Tables and chairs have obviously not been wiped down. While the ice cream tasted fine my family and I were concerned about the possible condition of the back where ice cream is stored. They have holiday flavors, but went with the classic Choc/PB combination for under 3 bucks for a single scoop. This was by far the filthiest store I've ever been in. The stainless steel appliance behind the counter, looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in forever. A great that protects a fan and may be an icemaker looks as if my German Shepherd walked up against it for a year and it took all of his shedding hair and kept it also underneath there. I am sure there is some thing with a ZIP Code and eight legs. Such a shame for such a nice town. I would give it a negative number if I could. read more

I respect BR for employing many Anthem teens with first time jobs. We all started somewhere and need a place to learn. I recently ordered a cake for my daughters special 13th bday and was so thankful. Sophia takes the cake, no pun intended, for wonderful customer service, attitude, since of urgency, and she is EXTREMELY talented. This was superb art and yumminess all in one! I'm glad they're starting to roll out more popular items rather than their usual but with everything going on it's acceptable. I have gone here before with my wife and daughter and have received average service, the type you would expect from kids that age. Tonight was considerably worse. I ordered a handpicked quart of cherries jubilee. The boy packing it was having trouble packing it but I figured he'd get the job done. I went in and ordered a small milkshake. When the girl turned the blender off to put the shake in the cup she had to get a spoon to get the ice cream out. I was about to say something when her friends sitting at the counter started to laugh. She told them that it's because they were there that it didn't turn out right and they said that Robbie's (I assume another friend) turned out well. Long story short there was not nearly enough milk in the shake so there was diluted ice cream on the sides of the cup and 2 solid scoops of ice cream in the middle of the cup. Completely undrinkable. Also, every time I go in there these kids have their friends in the store and their friends are more important than the customers. I've seen friends running around the store, in the back of the store and behind the counter. They could really benefit from some training and supervision. It's unfortunate that this is the only ice cream shop in Anthem. Someone should invest in a Cold Stone or a Dairy Queen or even a Rita's. read more

I love the ice cream at Baskin Robbins, and I try to get a pint every couple of days; but my last two experiences have been extremely unpleasant. I went there on a Friday evening with my family close to 9pm, and the staff was irritated that they had to take our order this late in the evening even though their hours clearly state that they are open until 10pm. The female individual behind the counter actually scooped ice cream and took our order, the male individual sat behind the counter playing on his iPhone, but both seemed like we were a nuisance to be there. The next experience was this weekend, my husband and I arrived around 9:30pm and when he ran in he was greeted with "don't they see the sign says closed"! First off, the sign was still on and said OPEN, and again the store hours clearly states that their hours are until 10pm. The entire experience was again unpleasant. This store needs to rethink their staffing and hours! I can tell you that I will not visit this location again, and I will guarantee sharing my experience with others in Anthem. read more

Asked for tops she threw them on counter and sarcastically said I didn't know you were taking out. No bag offered for the two ice cream cups. My kids and I love their ice cream and go at least once a week for a treat. The staff is always very friendly and patient as the kids like to try multiple flavors. One of the only reasons for not giving 5 stars is that their portions seem very inconsistent and the floors could be cleaned more often. I have been to this location several times where I see these kids working there that do not wear any kind of gloves for our protection. They touch the cones then handle money then grab a cup and stick their finger in it then touch the blender and register and so on. I asked the girl last night why they don't wear gloves and she said "they don't teach us to" and we don't touch the ice cream. Money has plenty of germs and then they stick their arm into the ice cream bucket holding the scooper. I suggest management train these kids properly before an inspector gets called out!!
