Mobile ordered and it wasn't even started when I arrived at the pick up time. I stood under the mobile pickup sign for 10+ minutes before having to say something to find out about my order. The kids working had horrible attitudes like they didn't want to be there and were being very short with me. read more

The dude and I came to Madera Baskin Robbins as it was the 31st, which scoops are half off. This was around November 2019. Anywho, I can eat ice cream for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and mid night snack haha so as you can see I can eat ice cream anytime of the day! When we arrived it was not packed at all. Since it was empty I decided to take pictures in the cutouts. Some patrons came in and looked at my dude and I all weird but it was fun, ice cream is suppose to be fun and bring out the kid in you! The inside was very clean and I love the smell of sweet cream or the ice cream smell. I wish they had candles like that! So I usually get my favorite pistachio almond ice cream with a scoop of Strawberry Cheese cake and that will be my lunch. Every bite was so flavorful and delicious. Oh man this place keeps getting worse (not the ice cream) they keep changing personnel. I came in for a sundae and ice cream cone. I told the girl to put the whipped cream from my sundae to the cone. She said " let me ask my manager if I can do that" I understand she might be new and doesn't want to get in trouble but what got me upset is that the "manager" said: you can do that if you want but there will still be a charge for the "extra whipped cream". I was like ok just charge it. I guess that's the way to get rich. Literally, one dollar at a time! read more

I literally just left out of the store @10:08 AM, as I was escorted out by young female employee. I was waiting for a family member to leave Walmart across the street and decided to kill some time by going to grabbing a scoop of Ice Cream. I checked Google before hand and it said they opened at 10:00 AM. I then checked the stores doors to confirm that they in fact did open at 10:00 AM. (SEE PICTURE). I walked in, the door was opened. I noticed the ice cream was still covered. Then a young woman came out of the back and said "Oh we are closed" and she proceeded to lead me back towards the entrance she pulls out her keys and states She states " This door was supposed to be locked". I, in confusion, asked, "Do you not open at 10:00 AM?" She said "NO" as I began to point at the hours on the doors. She seemed confused like maybe she had in fact gotten her hours mixed up. I wanted to ask do you really open at 10 and your just arent ready or...? Anyway the costumer service was poor and the lack of communication was a huge turn off for me to the point that I wouldn't want to come back when they're really "open" and purchase anything. I could understand if Google made a mistake. But the hours are clearly written on the door. Smh. read more

I am so glad Madera has a few good ice cream places, this one being my favorite. Who does not like choices, well friend there is 31 flavors of ice cream here with more then a few choices of topping's. Lets talk about those topping's- would you like hot fudge, caramel, strawberries, pineapple, chocolate syrup or marshmallow also there is an array of things like sprinkles, sliced almonds, nuts, gummies, crushed up Oreos, crushed Reese's cups and so much more. *Myself, give me two/three scoops in a cup or sometimes a waffle bowl and top it with hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry- in that order too then I am satisfied! Baskin Robbins has bannana splits, milkshakes, cappuccino blasts, cookies, cake pops etc. You can order ice cream cakes for any occasion of which I have ordered more than a few and they are great. Prices are a lil more then the competition here in Madera, but good is good and you pay for what you get I would say. I am sure your taste buds will agree with the choice of the delectable treat's Baskin Robbins sells. Hungry? Well there are food option's within walking distance, after come right over here for a great dessert. The staff at this location are very nice and always ask if you want to sample a flavor or two on the house. There is plenty of parking and a few tables outside. The store is clean (usually). The only thing to do after reading this review is go gO GO, hurry up because they are not open 24hrs, that really would be nice though. ENJOY!! read more

I just left this store after buying some ice cream for my kids, but I seriously have to say that I'm disappointed in your employees. She had no name tag and I couldn't see her face due to the mask, but the girl serving me was not wearing gloves, her fingers were dripping wet, and she had Band-Aids on her fingers, and when I pointed it out she said "no problem I can make you all the scoops all over again" That is not the point! The point is everybody is supposed to be extra careful and extra sanitary especially now! What the hell kind of training do they get? Maybe they should all be retrained read more

Yelp 2016 Review 100 Challenge - #6 Even though this place has been open for a while now, it's good to see that it's still well kept, and probably one of the nicest and cleanest Baskin Robbins that I have been to. They always do a good job with keeping their ice cream cakes and flavors in stock. Since it get's hot often in this area, this place tends to get busy quite often. Service for the most part is always friendly and fast, but every now and then you will have to deal with a zit faced teenager who has attitude, but oh well. read more

So glad to have a BR back in Madtown...MIA since the mid 90's! The ice cream pretty much speaks for itself. World Class Chocolate is my perennial favorite. But they are always coming up with cool new flavors to try. The Super-Soldier Swirl is pretty tasty. And I always look forward to February for Love Potion #31, I fall in love with it every year... This store is nice and big with lots of indoor seating and a cool contemporary design. There is also a self-serve frozen yogurt machine that i have yet to try...must be time to go back already. We are frequent customers at this Baskin-Robbins. We have had destiny help us quite a few times, she is so pleasant, always smiling always happy. Last night we were in the store and they were very busy and there was a customer that was being very rude to destiny, she remained calm , she remained polite, And managed to keep her cool. I ordered 2 cakes for Mother's Day. When I picked up I thought it'd be quick and easy. I was asked what cakes I got and they had given me one that was exactly what I ordered. The second one couldn't be found for about 10 minutes. They also brought me the wrong cake twice. I finally got the cake with my name on it. i went into the baskin robbin on 2180 w cleveland ave in madera on june 12 at 1pm. as a healthcare worker, the young lady who helped me did not wash her hands with her previous customer before helping me. it was only until i brought it to her attention, she washed her hands.priour to helping me, i'm watching her as she is cross contaminating everything she touches. i understand that business are reopening due to this pandemic, but at the same time, wash your hands and wear gloves before helping others!! due to this issue, i will not be returning!! read more

"We live out of town and decided to get the kids a treat for being well behaved on the long road trip. I have never been to such a nicely laid out Baskin Robbins! First thing I noticed was the club chairs near the entrance with a small table. Low enough ice boxes so that you don't have to pick up your little one to see the different flavors. Beautiful drapes with accent lighting to match. Plenty of seating through out. They even help with last minute shoppers! You can pick up plates, cups and napkins for your ice cream birthday cake. I saw other goodies like lollipops and suckers too. I will be stopping here when ever the family makes the 4 hour road trip. They make ice cream special again! read more

I love Baskin Robbins! This has got to be one of the cleanest, most visually appealing locations that I've ever been to. It looks more like a lounge than an ice cream parlor. I do think this location, being new and all, is more expensive than others. Unless all locations just raised their prices or something. And I would like them better too if they had quarterback crunch-my favorite flavor! read more

Who doesn't love Baskin Robbins? Came in here for an ice cream cake for my little sisters. They were able to squeeze in all three names on that little cake and keep it looking cute, so good job guys! Happy to see a B&R back in Madera! Great shop, love all the seating and the design of the place. I went in for my free birthday scoop, with the coupon that says "free single scoop". I ordered, presented my coupon at the register, but was told it was only good for a kid's scoop, and that I should have said something before ordering. I pointed out that the coupon said "single scoop", to which the gal (I'm assuming she was a manager, because the girl ringing me up asked for her help) pointed out it says "2.5oz" in parenthesis. So I ended up paying for my 4oz single scoop, and saved my coupon for another day (which I used in Clovis today, telling them I had my b-day coupon, and was given a nice big ol' regular scoop with no questions asked). First time I've had an issue with the b-day coupon and scoop size - not sure whether to blame the company for calling it a single scoop while putting the size in parenthesis, or the lack of customer service in not letting me just have the scoop as ordered, or charging me the extra 30 cents for a regular over a kid's size. But like I said - this is the only B&R where I've ever had an issue with my b-day coupon and scoop size. read more
