Walked in on 7-13-25 at around 3:40 pm. Young lady took my order and no issues with that, when I got to the cashier she told me the amount about 6 dollars and some change. Since I've been coming here they always put a spoon of the rim dip in the drink. I noticed it had a long spoon with nothing on it, asked her if I can go ahead and get one I believe she called over a manager that said we dont do that anymore. Pretty good spot I haven't tried a wide variety of their items but from what I've tried it's pretty good. I would give it a higher rating but it's nothing amazing like it's pretty mid tier food and desserts, also it depends on the workers. Some workers hook it up and actually give you good size portions while others gave me half scoops of ice cream and made my order wrong. read more

I come to this place every time I visit Madera. We all love it, they will add extra chimoy or chilli or drain out the water from corn if you ask. Workers are fairly nice every time I go. The inside is super colourful and decorated. read more

If I could give negative stars I would Horrirrbblllle first I don't know why I came here I went here last week got there nasty Dubai strawberries first off it's not suppose to be hard chocolate it's suppose to be milk chocolate second the strawberries aren't suppose to be cut up and thawed out from freezing .. top it off they were $15!!!!!! The dude and I came to La Michoacana Plus in Madera on 07/21/20 as I use to work in Madera for 2.5 years. My dude informed me as he still works in Madera that they were building a new ice cream shop. I LOVE Mexican ice cream as I feel it's super creamy and delicious and reminds me of my childhood. This location recently opened up in mid July 2020. The day we came was around 9pm. There was a long line which is expected as the hype for this is a big deal in Madera. The line moved pretty fast. However it was PACKED inside to the point we couldn't move around to see ALL the ice cream options and missed about 6-8 other options as it was blocked by a lot of people. Unable to practice social distancing because of the set up, which was frustrating. However, everyone was wearing a mask including staff and customers. I think they should allow 5 people during the hype as I imagine eventually the hype would die down. Due to the crowds and being able to see all options is crucial and due to them allowing like 15 plus people inside. I honestly would not return as it was a challenge to see all available options. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean inside. Now getting to the ice cream and horchata. My ice cream taste alright I feel the ice cream was so underwhelming...really didn't have that strong authentic Mexican flavor I'm use to. It was edible but I had better in Madera/Fresno or just could be I didn't get the right things. The the horchata was alright once again I had better but I do appreciate it was not Powered mix. It was good but lacked that well known horchata flavor. It was a decent experience and organized as they just opened. It appeared they had a good system going on but your order can get mixed up as some things was added to ours which wasn't a big deal. But make sure you let them know if something on your tray doesn't match. Overall, I am glad I had the opportunity to try this place out as each Mexican ice cream shop had their own unique spin on their treats. read more

Literally just finished buying multiple things here ($50+) , bought paletas, agua frescas, and even a banana split! Definitely cannot complain, little wait time and the two young ladies working there were nice and let us sample the flavored waters to see which one we'd choose . It's nice seeing more mainstream businesses open in Madera, surprisingly during Covid-19 this place decided to open up. This location is a little smaller than some of the other locations and has no outdoor seating. Ice creams, aguas and munchies, Mexican treats a plenty here. I've been to this location a couple times since recently opening and yes it was busy after opening but now has died down a little. I like to go places when I think there will not be many people, if it's packed I will come back another time. My last visit there was only two people inside (WINNING). Yes masks are required, staff wear them too. The munchies, ice creams and drinks are all pretty good, the selection and variety is better than most by the way. Price is affordable and I usually buy extra paletas to keep in the freezer. The store is clean but could be cleaner (door sanitizing) etc. Paying is easy if you have a card with a chip. No swiping or inserting, just tap the card on the device and done. This is the only place in town I would recommend if your looking.. read more

Very chillax vibes here, music playing and a lot of room for big groups to sit and enjoy some homemade ice cream and street cart type foods. In a good location. Lots of variety in flavors. Dairy free options are limited to more of the Fresca flavors like pepino (cucumber), sandía (watermelon), etc. Their aguas frescas are good. & place is clean. Took off 1 star because I got the churro sundae & the 3 churro sticks were very stale so I would not recommend the churro sundae. But besides that it's a good place to get dessert every once in a long while. read more

I went to la Michoacana to buy some snacks for my daughter. She really likes their horchata. I was there for a few minutes and not one of the three girls working there asked me if I needed help or if I was ready to order. Instead they helped 3 customers that came after me, then another 2. Finally I asked one of the girls if she could help me she sent me with one of the other employees. Very rude and not professional. I think these 3 employees would really benefit from a training that shows them how to be courteous and how to treat customers. read more

Everything seems flavorless and definitely not authentic! We tried the fresh waters, the mangoniadas, the ice cream and same!

Got here at 9:45 and the doors were already locked very disappointed because it said it closed at 10pm

This place is amazing ! The girls are very fast and have great customer service ! The agua Fresca are my favorite and definitely recommend!
