I love this little Baskin Robbins! It's clean, well kept, and in a nice quiet plaza although conveniently just off the main road. The manager here is the nicest and most personable and helpful. I called several baskin Robbins looking for tax crunch and he was so kind to accommodate my wants and he's a great salesman- I ended up walking out with two quarts, having intended to get much less. it was totally worth it though and I have no regrets. Tax crunch is one of my favorite ice cream flavors (it's the Kona coffee one with chocolate crackly ribbon and crispy bits that comes out March/April for tax season), I always reward myself with it for finishing taxes, although not every BR carries it. When I pulled up I saw some kids and their dad eating ice cream outside the store with their bicycles, it was the cutest thing and such a wholesome picture. And they were wearing the BR paper hats. Highly recommend this place for your ice cream needs read more

Cool Baskin Robbins. I used to come here a lot when I lived in Cypress. Now I am in Fountain Valley, which is a little far from here. But we stopped here yesterday for some ice cream since we were in the area. Their not too far from Knotts Berry Farm. I love the mixure and different flavors of ice cream. I got Orange Sherbert with cookies in cream mix lol. I am crazy like that.My girl got whatever ice cream she wanted. We just had a nice time. Good day for it. Vaneet's still at it again!! This BR location has been my childhood stopover since elementary. One year later after my last visit before the pandemic, I took a step inside and saw that everything got renovated!! Rather than having a menu displayed, about two TV's are in place of it to show what's on the menu. He was such a great help today, and my aunt and I picked up the cake for my dad for Father's day. On the other hand, for to go, I got the Very Berry Strawberry and Non-Dairy Strawberry Streusel. Also bought Jamoca and Butter Pecan ice cream for to go as well. I'll definitely come back again, thanks to Vaneet and the other employees for being so helpful!! read more

This place was not good at all. The kids serving the ice cream es scar hi g his head Abd rubbing his eyes over the ice cream. It was gross. The store manager should be training there employees to have way better food handling manners. That was so gross. Well he washed his hands when I told him he should not do that. Now they say hot fudge? No it's warm chocolate syrup and a stale brownie they make the brownie sundae with. Yuk yuk yuk. The whole experience was gross. read more

My family asked what dessert I wanted for my birthday. I chose the Jamoca almond fudge ice cream pie. I hadn't had in so long and it is hard to find places that make a good one. We have always bought from Baskin Robbins so we were glad there was a Baskin Robbins nearby. It was so delicious. Just as I remembered it. If you are looking for a change from typical pie and cake desserts, check out Baskin Robbins. They offer many types of desserts. And they have themed cakes for all the holidays. read more

Update 10/17/18: Much better customer service. Owner is very involved with customers now. Decorations for halloween made it very festive inside. Chocolate cone w/ Vanilla scoop for Ian was a little over $2.50. Receipt had a promotion for a buy one get one $0.99 scoop for my next visit. Old Review: Even in India, I never understood the appeal of ice cream from 31 flavor Baskin Robbins. I have been in the US for 16 years now yet I have been to a BR store less than 5 times so far. This store is 300 feet from my house and we have eaten their ice cream 2 times in the past 8 years. In order to write this review, I did not have to dig deep to come up with reasons why I do not frequent this store I like ice cream. Like it, don't love it. There is nothing at Baskins & Robbins that will make you love ice cream. The flavors are boring, not a ton of options either. Employees are not enthusiastic, and do not wow you away with service that will win you back. $3.58 for a small cone ice cream. Rite aid has the same cone for $1.99. Habit gives you a larger ice cream for $1.00. So, value for your money is not there either. Hence it might be another few years before we come back here. read more

Hi, Today's review is for the Baskin Robins (31 flavors) in the strip mall at the corner of Beach Blvd. and Rosecrans Ave. in the city of La Mirada. Kind of tucked in behind Polly's pies. As it happens, this Baskin Robins was having it's grand reopening today when we walked up. There was face painting, someone in an ice cream cone suit, a wheel to spin for prizes... you get the picture. Very cute! Upon entering, the change in Ownership/Management was very apparent! The manager actually greeted us as we walked in. He appears to be very nice and very proud of his new store! The store itself has changed in almost too many ways to count. Gone are the sour employees. They have been replaced with young people who actually looked like they cared and were having a good time. The seating was brand new and there was probably double (plus) the actual seats and tables there used to be. There are bright and cheerful window decorations. A brand new freezer section with ice cream cakes, prepackaged ice creams and many other goodies have been added. There is a cold soda refrigerator now in the back of the store and a new dipping station has also been added. Everything was clean, tidy, and appealing. I have to confess, today was banana split day for me. Oops, there went the diet! I chose a traditional one with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream - with the usual pineapple, strawberry, and hot fudge toppings. Of course I had to have whipped cream and cherries. No nuts this time. The banana split was tasty and very well presented (see pic below this review). I was very pleased with what I was served and the speed with which it was made. The server was friendly and got my order made exactly as requested. I thought the price was very fair for what you received. YUM! All in all, if you have not been to this Baskin Robins in a while or you quit coming because of the poor service of the prior owner, maybe it is time you gave it another try. I'm certainly glad I did! Jim read more

I Will NEVER come to this Establishment AGAIN. Lazy Young workers are whom they Employ. This is the first time my husband & I have come here. We were close by waiting for our kiddo to finish practice & wanted a sweet snack. When we walked in there was one worker behind the counter helping several young kids... Did not make sense why two workers were standing in the back room door way looking at us & DID NOT offer to take our order. So we waited patiently, Noticing that a few tables were available near the Entrance Dirty with Napkins & Ice cream drops. The other tables were pushed back & had signs on them. Obviously Not usable. After the young kid customers left we were asked what we would like from young female worker Reianna..... Then a young man & a large family came in after a few minutes Finally another young worker Paolinna / Paulina ? came out to help.....she helped the young man. The large family was still waiting, but at this point I couldn't see the ice cream case to choose what flavor I wanted because they now crowded the case. No one was 6 feet apart & the workers Were NOT Enforcing Safe Social Distancing. I DID NOT get to order anything because they DID NOT have the two flavors I ALWAYS get from my local Baskin-Robbins. Nutty coconut or Cherries Jubilee. At this point I was Done. When at the cash register to pay for the Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae my husband ordered, TWO MORE young WORKERS, Chris & another Female came out of the back (couldn't see her name tag). So now we see 4! Four workers were there the whole time IN THE BACK Making Customers wait for No reason. Seriously You would think for everyones Safety they would have ALL 4 Come out to help IDK Customers. So the review based on the Fudge Brownie Sundae would be 0 Zero stars if possible because it was the Smallest serving we have ever got at Baskin-Robbins, Ridiculous!!! $6.99 for two of the Smallest, Smaller than kids scoops Ever! Aswell as the ice cream was very soft while she was scooping it , looked almost melted before she put it on the Brownie ! I Truly Hope the Owners see how these young people sealed the deal for me to Never come back to support this Establishment. Parking is overall available & the Entrance faces the other businesses, Not the street which was a little confusing. I will stick to my Local Baskin-Robbins from now on. read more

So I have been going here for a short while. Probably since the new manager has taken over. I would love to tell you his name. But I'm bad about that. Anyways he is always there. He does gripe about the parking. But that's because other customers park where we should park going to Baskin Robbins. I was actually taken here by a couple of friends. They go there often. And almost religiously on the 31st. That's the day they have any scoop of ice cream for $1.50. So on that day it usually gets packed. This is the #1 Baskin Robbins in Orange County. The new manager told me. He worked really hard to make it. I was there the day he found out. I thought he was going have tears. The way he was talking. About his effort. This store is very clean. Everything in its place. When it slows down the manager or one of his employees is cleaning the tables and floor. Being an ice cream parlor. You can imagine how many kids come through here. Yet they manage to keep this place very clean. The ice cream here is wonderful. They keep a minimum of 31 flavors at all time. Now they do have more than 31. They sometimes have flavors in the back that are not as popular. But have regulars that like them. So he keeps some for them. You have to call in advance so he can pull it or them out of the deep freezer in the back. A lot of time it might be the flavor of the month. Which he orders extra due to high demand from previous times. But he has to change to a new flavor on the next month. He goes out of his way for regulars. Now I want to say this is a family ran store. His mom works there also. So it feels like a mom and pop store even though it's a chain. I believe she makes most of the cakes. But she works on the front also. She is a very nice lady. And really enjoys the kids. When I go in. She is usually talking to the people and kids. It's a very warm feeling. You are not just a number here. They get to know you. On Tuesday it's family night. And they have their ice cream at a discount price. It's very popular that I stay away that day. Very busy and full of families. Now ice cream wise. I am a vanilla base guy. There are a lot of flavors I like and some I love here. And of course there are a lot that I don't like. Due to that they are more of a chocolate base. Yes yes I know how much everyone else loves chocolate. So that's great for everyone else. Right now I'm on a Pralines and Cream fix. They carry the old favorites. And they also carry the new favorites. Like mocha. Yes coffee lovers they have something for you. So it's not just pure scoops of ice cream and ice cream cakes. Which are really good. Maybe you just want a shake. They got that also. And you have all those flavors to choose from. Plus whatever you want to add to it. From thief add on area. Or maybe you want an old fashion banana split. They got you covered. Maybe with a new twist. Instead of chocolate or strawberry you want to use cookies and cream and butter pecan. They got you covered. Extra whip cream. They got it. Nuts no problem. Allergic to nuts. Tell them. No problem. Covered in caramel. Of course. Hot fudge sure. How much? All covered. With or without a cherry your choice. You won't leave here unsatisfied. And at the of your order . When you pay he gives you coupons. Yes! For the next time you come. It will be cheaper. Who does that!!? He does. At least in this store. No wonder why they have so many repeat customers. And have become the number one store in Orange County. read more

BR is my favorite childhood ice cream shop. I still come here every now and then. This location is tucked in a secluded plaza behind Polly's Pies. The staff are all pleasant and prompt with your order. The shop is small but, they are awesome with social distancing and the workers wear masks and gloves. You can't go wrong with the many options. Whether you're craving a sundae, banana split, ice blended drink or just a good ol' scoop of your favorite flavor. There are plenty to choose from. My 3 faves are cookies n cream, rainbow sherbert, and pistachio almond. But, they're all good. If you're wanting a caffeine boost, the cappuccino blast will definitely give you a perk me up. They use real vanilla ice cream which makes it so creamy and tasty. I've ordered their ice cream cakes for birthdays. Cake and ice cream, what more can you ask for?! So good! BR is always a good option! Most of the time, my sweet tooth wins and I end up caving in. read more

Hello, I'd like to share feedback on two different Baskin-Robbins locations I recently visited. First, I went to the La Habra location to redeem my free birthday scoop. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The store was dirty, and the man working there (who I believe is the owner) was on his phone the entire time and didn't even greet us. He was rude and unhelpful. When I tried to use my birthday QR code, it didn't work, but he scanned it anyway without giving me the ice cream. The code then disappeared after I left -- and I walked out empty-handed on my birthday. I will not be returning to this location. In contrast, I also visited the La Mirada location, and the experience was completely different. The owner there was incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming. He clearly has high standards for customer service. The store was super clean, smelled great, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. I would gladly return to this location again and recommend it to others. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I appreciate your time. read more

I was here last week , they have this nice old lady working as a cake decorator Ranju ,she is awasome cake decorator. I believe she is owner of the place. She made my daughter so happy on her birthday. Can't wait for my hubby birthday cake getting from here . I love u guys . U guys made every single birthday spl with spl cakes . Everyone ask from where we buy the cake we tell everyone at our party to go to this location & u never will be disappointed. These guys are way cheaper than any Baskinrobbins out In this area . They never charge extra if u decided to get any ice cream flavor on cake. Other place have lot unreasonable charges. Best part abt them they will go beyond from ur expectations. I know u can't make everyone happy , but lay me tell we r more than happy . Thanks a lot again for amazing treats. Thanks BaskinRobbins La Mirada team & RANJU thanks a lot to u . read more

We visit this store about once a week and staff is always so kind. My daughter wanted her 5th Birthday cake here and wanted it Unicorn. The manager and staff both gave me time to show them what I wanted and even had me meet with the designer to get all the details needed to make my cake special. I couldn't be happier with their service and the cake I ordered. A plus, they only charged me a bit more for the extra design and the cake was already a good price. Thanks Baskin Robins in La Mirada for the perfect cake. read more

The owner or manager of this franchise refused to allow me to enter the business because I have a little dog. But it wasn't so much about the dog that really disturbed me. It was everything he said to me. I can't believe that this is what Customer Service has become. Especially in such a quiet little suburb as La Mirada. Going out for an ice cream cone on a hot day with your family and dog has never been a problem in all the years I have lived here. I definitely will never be Customer there ever again. read more

Crumbl got me. I had a free cookie waiting for me in my account, and somehow my brain convinced me that adding a second one was the obvious choice. Girl Math never misses. Walking in, there was no line, which was a nice surprise. The service was perfectly fine, although the employees seemed a little more interested in finishing their conversation than noticing I was standing there ordering. Nothing major, just one of those slightly awkward "I'll wait until you're done chatting" moments. One thing I wasn't expecting? Those ordering kiosks are so low. I felt like I was crouching down to place my order. Now... the cookies. The second I opened the box, the Honey Bun aroma hit me like a warm hug from a bakery. It smelled incredible. The Honey Bun cookie absolutely stole the show. Soft, buttery, cinnamon-y, and everything I hoped it would be. The S'mores cookie was good too, but it leaned more "marshmallow-topped cookie" than "campfire s'mores." It looked amazing, but I wanted just a little more of that nostalgic s'mores flavor. Both cookies were sweet, rich, and definitely shareable... unless you're having one of those days. Would I go back? If I have another free cookie waiting for me? Without hesitation. Final Verdict: 7/10. The Honey Bun was the clear winner, the S'mores was good, and now I completely understand why people get excited every Monday to see the new flavors.

An employee in the back saw me and gave me the "one minute" sign, so I waited patiently. After that, he saw me several more times but continued cleaning and basically ignored me. By 4:47 AM, I finally knocked on the door and he yelled "5" from across the counter, apparently meaning they don't open until 5:00. If you don't open until 5:00, that's fine--but why tell a customer over the phone that you open at 4:30? And if you see someone waiting outside because they were given the wrong information, it takes two seconds to come to the door and explain that instead of having them stand there waiting. What's the point of calling ahead to confirm the hours if the information you're given isn't accurate?

This lady with the dog asked the person what happened and she decided to come and confront me about me being an issue. I was literally having my frozen yogurt minding my business. She started saying that if I mess with her daughter I mess with her. I never said anything to them. If the store wasn't going to do anything, I wasn't going to escalate anything. This lady tried claiming it was a service animal and accused me of being uneducated. The dog was not acting as a service animal and did not have anything to show that it was a service animal. She came to my face and started pointing her finger at my face trying to start something. I remained calm while the lady who works here was in shock and not able to handle the situation. The lady eventually walked out since I was not engaging. I did not feel safe and I believe that the store shouldn't have told the person that I had said something about the dog. Based on this experience I do not feel like coming back especially not alone.

The bundtinis are so cute, but they are only sold by the dozen so I usually get the bundlets. I've tried their lemon, red velvet, and classic vanilla. You can't go wrong with any of these flavors. I still had a few months left prior to expiry, so I waited until a day when I'd be in the area, and they were offering a premium bundtlet, whose upcharge would be covered by the free individual bundtlet reward. This Nothing Bundt Cakes in Norwalk opened recently, like less than a year ago. They're located in Civic Center Plaza on the northeast corner of Imperial and Norwalk. If you recall where the Wood Grill Buffet was, that's pretty much where Nothing Bundt Cakes is now, though a new building had to be constructed there. I came on the last day of May, which I had thought would have been the last day their Banana Prepared with Nutella would be on their menu, but Nothing Bundt Cakes sent out an email the following day announcing the extension of this specialty flavor. I arrived close to 3 PM on Sunday, an hour before closing time. There was just one female employee in the shop, and she greeted me as she was cleaning the front countertop. I asked if the Banana Prepared with Nutella was still available that day, and she confirmed it was. I was about to hit "Redeem in store" on my phone until she asked for my phone number so she could redeem it on her end. After telling her my phone number, she knew my name and was able to deduct the 600 points from my points balance. She grabbed one of two Banana Prepared with Nutella bundtlets remaining in their display case and put it in a rather tall Nothing Bundt Cakes gift bag. Right as I left, another customer came in and asked if they still had the Banana Prepared with Nutella, to which the employee answered affirmatively. That customer actually wanted two of those bundtlets, but I only saw one in their display case, so unless they had more in the back of the shop, I got really fortunate. What's unfortunate, on the other hand, was my carelessness at handling the bundtlet on my way home; I accidentally toppled the bundtlet, detaching some of the frosting from the cake in the process. This made the cake look like it came with smushed frosting. so the photos I've posted are not indicative of how this Nothing Bundt Cakes prepares their bundtlets. I had asked that employee how long that particular cake would last, and she said 2 days even though the norm for their cakes is 5 days, but I think the banana would cause that flavor cake to have a shorter lifespan in the fridge. I ate half of the bundtlet the next day, and it was exactly what I expected, except for the slice of banana on top. I thought it would have been softer like a real banana, but this was much firmer, akin to a banana chip. Did I like it better? Yeah! Forget banana and peanut butter; I'll have banana and Nutella instead! lol I finished the other half the following day, and it tasted just as good. I liked how the banana flavor was evenly dispersed throughout the cake whereas it seems most other flavors are too dense for me to enjoy the actual flavor. I believe the bundtlet would have held up well for a third day, but I also believe the taste would have deteriorated quite a bit on the fourth day. According to the Nothing Bundt Cakes app, the Banana Prepared with Nutella is $1.50 more than a normal flavored bundtlet, which is $6.99. A couple of their other flavors are also worth an extra $1.50: Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl, Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie, and the Gluten-Free Lemon Raspberry, though the last one was listed as not avaliable that day. Inside the shop, they have plenty of merch for a variety of occasions, like birthdays, sporting events, and, most recently, graduations! Whatever the occasion, just know that you won't have to make an extra trip in case you're missing some decor for your celebration! Overall, a solid Nothing Bundt Cakes shop that met my expectations! Norwalk is lucky to open a location, but even if this location runs out of certain flavors, the Downey location is just four miles due west.
