Dr Saad was very efficient, thorough and understanding. It took me a long time to find an endocrinologist thinking I had to go to LA "because it's better." This is definitely not the case. dr Saad is a great doctor. I have no problem with him but his staff the ladies at the front office are very rude. Always short hangs up before I can finish what I was saying, and this is not the first time it is a continuous thing to add to that they never answer the phone and when they do, they put you on a long hold. After waiting in the office for over three hours after my scheduled appointment, Dr. Saad told me I was too young and too skinny to actually be sick. He suggested I see a psychiatrist to figure out why I would pretend to have a health problem... Two weeks later I was in the emergency room because all of my organs were shutting down due to an extremely severe iron deficiency. I had blatantly asked Dr. Saad during my visit if it was possible for me to be anemic given that I was displaying all of the usual symptoms of an iron deficiency. He told me there was absolutely no way I was anemic and refused to test my iron or ferritin levels. read more

Dr.'s are awesome too bad their staff is incredibly rude absolutely no phone manners they are not professional at all and when they return phone calls their tone of voice sounds like they are annoyed to call back. I had an appt 1 week ago I had my prescription given that day to be submitted and here I am no prescription and 4 calls into the doctor office and nothing I need my meds by Monday which I made them aware on my 4th vmail and as it's Friday today they are gone for the day and no one returned my call. Unfortunately I love my doctor and I will continue going but I will mention something next doctor visit. They need to really focus on their staff and how patience should be treated especially when diabetic people the medicine is very important. Dr Saad has been my endocrinologist for about three years now and I have no complaints whatsoever. His staff are just wonderful and he is really on the ball. December of 2021 I realised I had what looked like an Adam's Apple growing so I went in. I had my thyroid out in 2010 so I knew it was important. He did tests, took a biopsy and realised it was serious. I was standing in the exam room when he spear-phoned the surgeon, told him what was up and arranged a consult right then and there. Fast forward to now -he's on top of my case. I had a repeat thyroid removal (ectopic thyroid,) with parathyroid and 38 lymph nodes. Yeah, they found cancer. Except for what appears to be scar tissue, I'm well. The doctor I had before him just said she could give me diet pills to lose weight. Had I listened to her I most likely would not be writing this. The doctor is great, the office staff is horrible and rude. They lost my records from the first time I visited their office. The wait time is ridiculous. You have an appointment at a certain time and you wait an hour and a half to get called back. The student doctors that the doctor has with him (the ones I have encountered) are rude and act like they are the ones we are coming to see. AVOID THIS PLACE I finally dumped this place! Dear god what a hell hole. I had YEARS of crap from them. First, they are RUDE. Receptionists could be kinder. Second, YOU WILL WAIT OVER AN HOUR AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT. They consistently run late. NEVER have they been on time for the years I've been there, and trust me I've gone a lot. Practically every few months when I need a refill, it will take over a week and SOMETIMES A MONTH to receive my script at the pharmacy!. Absolutely absurd to delay LIFE SAVING medication for patients because of their own office issues. As a customer, I do not feel valued when I spent ALMOST 2 HOURS in an office. Dr. Saad is a knowledgeable and great doctor, but the office environment isn't worth the wait or his expertise. There are other endos who will respect your time more than this office. Outstanding doctor who really knows his stuff. He knew immediately what was wrong with me before any ultrasounds, MRI, CT scans or biopsies. He is very confident in his diagnoses because he has decades of experience. He can also refer you to top surgeons in your area who he knows professionally from all his years of experience. I feel really fortunate to have found him. The other yelpers are correct regarding the long wait times, but if you want the best doctors you have to be willing to take the wait times in stride. He tries to accommodate as many patients as he can, hence the long and delayed wait times. I used to get upset too, until I reminded myself that my health is worth the wait. Bring something to do or take a long nap and try not to schedule anything else on that morning or afternoon. read more

I am so sad to have to write this review but I am too upset about the way I have been treated here not to. Dr Saad himself is great, but the office staff here are horrible. I have been waiting on insurance approval for a medication for months and found out now TWICE that they lost the paperwork and forgot to request it. On top of this they refuse to give me any of my lab results over the phone even when it directly affects my medication. I have to wait weeks to get in. They sent over a new prescription to my pharmacy but had no record of doing that and didn't tell me I needed to change my prescription. I was so sick from being overdosed on a medicine but they didn't tell me it was time to lower it. They put me on hold for so long and three people answered and had no clue who I was or why I was still waiting. Unbelievably inept office staff. Its such a shame because it took me years to find an endocrinologist and when I finally found one I had to leave because of the office being so bad. read more

If waiting an hour to be seen is ok with you, then this place is perfect. I wish they were more considerate of your time and did not make you wait so long. My dentists office never makes me wait more than 10 minutes and it is a VERY busy office. Even my regular physician never has more than a 20 minute wait. What's more is that the waiting room is so full, people were going outside to sit down because there wasn't enough room for everyone. You're sitting with the same crowd for almost an hour, that's reassuring. After waiting an hour I was seen by Dr. Bashaar for 5 minutes. He ordered another set of blood work and told me to come back in 6 weeks. Fantastic. read more

I have a mixed review. Medically, the doctor is brilliant. On the other hand, the inability of his office staff to obtain a simple authorization places him in the one-star category. They double and triple book appointments and then have a sign that you will wait at least an hour for your appointment. When you see Dr. Saad, it is a quick few minute visit and he doesn't give you an opportunity to ask questions. My time is more valuable than this. read more

By the time you see an endocrinologist it's usually a scary place in which you find yourself. This office fixes all of that! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted and made to feel comfortable. Gina was at the front window and so competently took care of my paperwork needs. Then when I was taken back by the nurse, Colleen, and I felt like I had discovered another branch of my very own family!! She gives such comfort to you and your issues with a wealth of compassion and knowledge!!! The doctor is stunningly competent. His approach is conservative, which I appreciate. He lets your body and symptoms tell him the story. I love his treatment, his mannerisms and quirkiness! I was referred here from my PMD. Dr. Saad is very nice and extremely intelligent. He thoroughly explained my condition and gave me a clear follow up plan. I really appreciated him trying to get me involved into my care since it's hard to find doctors who do that nowadays. Staff at this office are nice as well. THREE doctors couldn't figure out my sudden weight gain so I was sent here. Saw Dr. Saad and he ran some test that were already run in previous months. Then ordered more tests. The results came back & I was greeted by a 'new' doctor. After we went over AGAIN what was wrong with me, the new doctor suggested I get tested for Lupus. Dr. Saad came in, squashed that suggestion and told me to eat less and exercise more. (I hike 18 miles every weekend, play soccer, & barely eat.) Went back for a check up last month (husband pushed me too) and was greeted by yet ANOTHER doctor. This time I brought years of lab results from City of Hope. Dr. Saad never looked at them. Wrote me a prescription for weight loss meds. But he put THE WRONG NAME on the prescription! So I was mailed a new one....after an attitude from a staff member who answered the phone. The office not willing to pre-autherize the meds I need. (They wouldn't do it for the last prescription either.) I won't go back. Doctor could just admit he doesn't know what is wrong. I had such a great experience with Dr. Saad. He is very knowledgable, always timely, and I definitely felt heard. He works with one other Doctor who is also very kind and caring. Office staff are nice as well. Dr. Saad has all the qualities of like in my doctor: smart + caring. I really feel that he truly cares and isn't just in and out. I've been to other doctors who are there to make a quick buck and see 50 patients a day. I actually got the time I needed with Dr. Saad.
