From the moment I contacted them, the service was exceptional. I worked directly with the owner, Matt, and he was absolutely great. He was attentive, responsive, professional, and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. When I arrived at the shop, I was greeted with friendly, attentive service right away, and they immediately started the diagnostic on my car. What really stood out to me was how honest and trustworthy they were. They explained exactly what was wrong with my car and what actually needed to be done without trying to upsell me or recommend unnecessary repairs. Everything was explained in a way that I could actually understand, which I really appreciated. And then, of course, I had to make things a little more complicated by losing my key fob! Matt and the team were incredibly patient and went out of their way to help me look for it, search the car, and even help me figure out which locksmith would be the best option. They absolutely did not have to go that far out of their way, but they did- and that meant a lot. They also kept me informed throughout the process with updates by text and phone calls, so I never felt like I was left wondering what was happening with my car. They were always available to answer questions and let me know what I needed to do next. One thing that really confirmed for me that I was dealing with an honest shop was actually overhearing Matt talking with another potential customer. He was completely upfront with them and even explained why he wouldn't recommend doing a particular repair because it would cost too much and wouldn't make sense financially. That told me a lot about the kind of business he runs. He genuinely seems to care about doing what's best for the customer- not just making money. That kind of honesty and customer service is hard to find these days. Auto Squad DB exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic they can trust. Friendly, knowledgeable, communicative, honest, and willing to go the extra mile. I'm very glad I found them and will definitely be going back!

I…read morehad been to 2 exceptional mechanic shops and 2 Stealerships (that's right, I said it!) to get my issues resolved with my 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, but all 4 told me they didn't have any mechanics confident enough to diagnose or even touch my truck. I had been living with a repeating code causing a check engine light for a year, among other things. The guys at Ricks Automotive were a blessing for me, they diagnosed my issues, used OEM parts, and did a THOROUGH quality control check to make sure my truck was done, not because they questioned their own work but because they know how Diesels can be difficult. I cannot thank them enough for repairing my truck. They have the knowledge and the necessary diagnostic equipment for diesels when most shops don't even have a Certified Diesel mechanic, they have 2! Tim was super communicative throughout the process and not once did he try to hustle me (which is the norm at most shops). I highly recommend this shop to any vehicle owner, their prices are fair and their work product is SOLID.

This last repair is what's lead me to this review. I went in because I got a check engine light for what turned out to be my exhaust gas recirculation. I was immediately told that I need a whole new part. No cleaning or inspection was done, just that I need a NEW part. Bought an OEM PART myself and took it to Lopez. They replaced it and even after it was replaced the same check engine light notification would come on. I was told to take it back "every time" it comes on. After a few times I got my car looked at by another mechanic, a large rubber cap was purposely placed somewhere inside of the system. Which caused the check engine light to continuously appear. The large unidentified rubber cap did not belong. Felt like I was scammed so I may continue to spend unnecessary $ here at this mechanic.

This is not the same original business with all the good reviews…read more I had two friends who highly recommended them so I trusted this business to do a common repair on my Ferrari. What was that a mistake! This business was sold by Mark Douglas apparently the month before I took my car there. And did not find that out until halfway through this headache process. The owner, Mike is somebody who has absolutely no ability or skill to run a Ferrari service. My service took over six weeks total, four weeks for them just waiting to get a part that Ferrari N.A. has in stock and told me they could receive in 5 days or less. Once they had the part it took them an additional two weeks just to get them installed. The entire time I was never called or emailed with an update. Not once! I had to call myself every week just to see what was happening and every time I called Mike would answer the phone and give me a terrible attitude just because I wanted an update. At one point I had to drive down there because they claimed their phone service was down for 3 days. He played it off like I'm annoying him just to get an update on my car sitting in their shop. On top of that when they claimed it was finally done, I go to pick it up and the car is shooting out an insane amount of smoke to the point where it looks like it was on fire. Turns out they completely overfilled the oil. They said it's no big deal and happens all the time. I've never seen such a thing. It took them, three more days to drain the oil. Oil was in the air filters all the sensors my exhaust system and covered the entire carbon fiber engine bay They clearly do not know what they're doing and are just winging things as they go along. They even lied to me and told me they were working on my car to get it done the following night so I drove by the shop and it was completely closed. I am only writing this review to warn others not to trust them with your expensive car. When I finally picked up my car and confronted Mike about all the headache and trouble all he said "well it's fixed now". No apologies or even explanations for their incompetence. Definitely not the kind of customer service you would expect trusting someone with your Ferrari.

The repair came out great and it took around two days. Tony came to my house and picked up the wheel. Unfortunately the paint correction did not match the rim and also my tire was leaking where the repair was made (it wasn't leaking even when the rim was dented). So I contacted Tony again to see what he can do. He said the paint came off the machine and that's what it analyzed it as and was willing to do it again so I said sure since the paint came out black instead of blue. He also offered to check on the tire and rebead the seal. So he picked up the wheel again, and this time it took almost two weeks to be done with the repair and this was only the tire portion. He advised that the paint correction would take another couple of days. Honestly just wanted the wheel back since I was out of a car for two weeks already and who knows how much longer it would take to get the wheel back. He came and dropped it off and installed the wheel and the tire is holding air for now, but he did recommend me to just get a new tire if it leaks again which I will do. This time though, when I got the wheel back, it had a new chip near the center which wasn't there before from the original pick up nor the first repair. As far as value and convenience of picking up and delivering goes, I'd say it's fair and beats the competitors. Otherwise, I wasn't too thrilled about the repair. Update: Bumped up one star since tire repairs aren't part of their job description and Tony went out of his way to do it. Leaving it 3 stars due to paint issues and poor communication where I have to ask for updates every couple of days.
