I grew up in this neighborhood. Came to this bar multiple times in the past, and my brother was a patron for years. So when my new boyfriend was given a free drink chip by someone, he couldn't wait to come by and play some pool. We showed up on Easter Sunday. It was pretty empty, except for a giant bunny earred bartender (who instigated most of what happened next), and a few customers, about six of whom were sitting at the bar. The bunny barwench first tried to hide my boyfriend's drink chip, then, as he was getting $5 of quarters out of the change machine, I accidentally lifted my que stick too far and it caught a ceiling fan. It was sudden, it was funny. I started laughing. The bar wench came out from behind the bar right away, started yelling, as did her posse of drunks who were sitting there, probably tipping, drinking and staring at her tits all day. So then they felt they needed to "interfere." My bf didn't even get the chance to pick up his change for pool, as we shoved out the door (which later a manager claimed we broke). We were walking away in the parking lot, and this gang of drunks were following us maliciously. I knew at one point they were about to attack my guy, so I told them they are not doing it without hitting me too. So one did. I fell to the ground, glasses and bracelets broken, sustaining serious injuries to my chin, jaw, and arm, as well as bruising all over. My bf was attacked too. I just remembered one coward jumping into a white truck and peering out as the cops were coming. We were asked if we wanted to press charges, we wanted to just be done with this, in shock, pumping blood and adrenaline. We walked down the street for a bit to calm down. When we returned, the police were gone, but our car was vandalized by someone either taking a baseball bat or a rock to the hood. I called two days later to see if bar management wanted to take any responsibility. I was treated like absolute shit, told they were going to press charges on me (why didn't they?), said we damaged the door (bs), and refused to give back $5. There. Posting this and the pictures. Wish I could give this place negative star rating.

Chinese food and drinks! Win win!

Best service in the world at Baseline Pub. The locals are the coolest. The Bartender Beth is the best. The Wings next door are the Bomb!

Sold me drinks before close and rushed me out. Don't sell me drinks if you are going to be rude and rush me out of your bar

I'll mention Beth specifically for being "an excellent salesperson" but everyone who works there have been great.

Coach House is a year-round Christmas-themed bar. Located in Old Town Scottsdale, a block or two away from Fifth Avenue, there's a parking lot that was pretty full when I arrived. If you can't find a spot, you can find some free street parking close by (max of three hours). Ambiance (4/5): A lot of holiday pop-ups these days have entrance fees and expensive holiday-themed cocktails. You'll find none of that pretentiousness here. There's no entrance fee and no elaborate cocktails. The reason to visit is the multitude of Christmas lights that adorn both the patio and the indoor area. There are also a bunch of TVs which makes it a good spot to check out the game. It's mostly a patio bar, but there is some room indoors too. As well as Golden Tee and another game. Service (4.5/5): There's a bouncer checking your ID before you come in. From there, there's a larger bar inside where you can order a drink from one of two bartenders (at least when I was there) or a smaller outdoor bar with one bartender (at least when I was there). There's a cash discount (which I always appreciate). What that means is that they don't charge you tax if you pay by cash. While the bar was busy, the bartenders working were efficient. Food (N/A): Coach House doesn't serve food but they did have a Mexican food truck posted up on the patio while I was there. I didn't have any food during my visit though. Drinks (N/A): Since The Coach House is a dive bar, expect a full bar, but don't expect fancy cocktails. Ordering simple mixed drinks or beer is the way to go. They were out of Montucky Cold Snacks so I went with a Woodchuck Cider for $6. Affordable prices in the heart of Scottsdale... I'll take that any day of the week! Speaking of Christmas miracles, while I was sipping my beer on the patio, I saw two black SUVs pull up. A group of people came out of the cars and there was one person who I immediately recognized. Former NBA MVP and multiple NBA all-star Steve Nash! As a big basketball fan, having a brew at the same bar as a Phoenix Suns legend was pretty epic. On Christmas nonetheless.

I waited in line for 45 minutes to get into the Coach house. I paid $10 to get in and went inside with my friends. I popped outside to grab one of my friends who was in the front of the line in Orlando told me I had to go back to the end of the line and was extremely rude and aggressive. This is an overpriced over Kitchie ridiculous situation up in Scottsdale.

We had to park on the street & thought we would have a hard time getting in. This was not the case. There were plenty of tables to choose from. You seat yourself. So we ended up sitting on the second floor near the bar. It has a cool atmosphere. Tons of TVs, music & pool tables. It took awhile for our server to come to the table. Service was slow, but only because they were very busy. Our server said it was not normal to be so busy like they were. Hubby ordered his favorite beer on draft with a lime. I ordered Tito's & cranberry juice. They were good drinks & mine was heavy pour. We ordered the pot skins. They were good, but I prefer them crispier. I'd like to try the cheese curds. Hubby ordered a dozen wings with Carolina Gold BBQ sauce & a side of cottage cheese. He really liked the wings & sauce. He finished the rest of the wings for lunch today. The cottage cheese wasn't his favorite as he prefers large curd & it is small curd. I had the breaded chicken sliders with Swiss cheese & Mayo.. I thought they came with a side, but they don't. I ordered a side of fires. The sliders were really good. The fries are the typical battered fries. We will definitely be back.
