Jared, the lead for the plumbing, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Jeremiah, the technician for the heating system, quickly found the issues and had our system up and running smoothly. Do not let them do the $79.00 "inspection"! They found an actual problem (small drip from very old…read moregalvanized water pipe). We got bids on a "pex" replacement and when we told them theirs was too high the bid was magically lowered. We were the fools who took the lowest bid. What we thought was a "repiping" of our house turned out to be a "partial repiping." So the drip was fixed but a lot of old galvanized piping remains. And here's the bad news: the new pex piping was inadequately attached to the floor joists under the house and the installer removed many sections of furnace ducting to work down there and run the new piping. So we found that one of our heater registers had no heat/no attachment to the furnace duct! Hot air blowing into the crawl space.... So we have paid someone to reattach the piping and the ducts. And when the "new piping" was done I subscribed to the annual maintenance agreement. This is a total scam! No work is done under this agreement. It is only an opportunity for Albert Nahman "technicians" to try to up sell various filters and improvement systems. And the "inspector" missed the heating duct problem.... Avoid the big yellow truck! Do not let these guys into your house!

On our first job with Bay Plumbing, Tony's team fixed some incorrectly installed lines for a new toilet and were able to come up with a solution to make our complicated plumbing situation code-compliant. Tony walked us through all the possible options, letting us know which would be quick fixes and which would be long-term solutions and was upfront about the prices from the start. On our most recent job, we noticed a leak in our basement the day before we left on vacation and Tony came over himself to check it out. Major damage was averted and the repair job was perfect. Unfortunately, no one was available to stop by in person. However, Tony was the only one who offered to have me walk him thru the issue by phone. I didn't take him up on his offer, but I appreciated his sincere desire to help. I was able to shut off the hot water supply so that the water flow would stop. Tony and his team arrived early on Monday morning at 8am, looked under the sink and then clearly described my options and gave me quotes before they started the job. He also provided recommendations without any high pressure tactics about upgrading the shut off valves under sink (to quarter turn shut off valves) given that he and his team were already here. They also were very thorough in testing that there was no more unwanted water flow. I would call Tony again if I have a plumbing issue.

He wasn't able to return with the needed parts in time to complete the job on that Friday, so he came out Saturday morning to finish the work. He was able to carefully extract the old (VERY old!) shower valve through a smallish hole, and install the new gear, so we didn't have to re-tile any of the shower enclosure. My only quibble is that he wasn't very transparent about how much of his quote was for parts vs the labor, so it was not easy to consider upgrading from a Delta valve to a different make. Overall, I'll definitely call him again when I need a plumber.

We discovered this issue as we were replacing the caulking to our bath tub. We told him numerous times that we had just removed the caulking. During his "inspection" he started running the water from our shower head but then he proceeded to point the shower head straight on the crevice where there is no longer caulking and say "see this is the issue!" Now there is a ton of water behind our wall in even more places then we had originally. He's a terrible communicator, constantly was interrupting, and couldn't articulate any of his reasons for anything. He was just guessing at what the issues were and hoping we would agree to start opening things up so we'd have to pay him. We were better off not having him show up at all.
