I contacted Susan to find out about her services with What a Pet Wants Pet Sitting. She came over to the house to meet us, as well as the three guys, and talk about the company's services. Right at the beginning, I felt very comfortable with her watching over our guys. They were a little skittish with a new person, but one of them did initially come up to her. It has now been 13 months utilizing her services. During this time, they have watched our pets approximately 7-8 times. She has provided nothing but exceptional service each and every time. Two instances come to mind that demonstrated her remarkable and trustworthy work ethic. Our plane was delayed and forced us to arrive back home much later than expected. A quick text to Susan and she took care of the guys for an additional day. The second time was during a short notice unplanned trip, she was able to cover the days. Disclaimer: Long review on Rebecca, The Dog Whisperer…read more I cannot recommend Rebecca at Paw Paw's Pets enough! After 10 exhausting months of battling with my dog, Theo--who treated his kennel like a personal torture chamber and barked like he was auditioning for a siren competition--I was completely worn out. We're talking nonstop, ear-piercing, dramatic barking for hours. I'm pretty sure the neighbors considered moving. Then we met Rebecca. Within ONE WEEK of obedience training, Theo transformed. He now goes into his kennel willingly--yes, willingly--and actually sleeps in it like a peaceful little angel. I still catch myself staring in disbelief. I spent nearly a year trying every trick in the book, and Rebecca came in and solved it like she had a cheat code for dog behavior. Her training style is calm, clear, and somehow makes you feel like you can actually do this. She understands dogs in a way that's almost magical. Theo loves her, and honestly, so do I. If your pup is testing your sanity and your sleep schedule, stop what you're doing and call Rebecca. She is the real deal, and Paw Paw's Pets has been a total game-changer for us!

Dog Injured At Pet Smart Boarding…read more We took our sweet puppies Princess and Sparkle to be boarded at Pet Smart over the weekend. At or about Sunday, October 17, 2021, Pet Smart began bombarding my wife with calls from morning to afternoon. We learned that something happened to Sparkle's leg, but mysteriously no one knew what happened. At first we were told that there was an injury to Princess, but we were then told that it was Sparkle. We were told that Sparkle would be taken to a Vet. When Princess and Sparkle were picked up this afternoon, she came home with a dog cone around her neck and a STAPLE in her CUT leg. I don't care if we were not charged for boarding and the Vet fee was free as a result, this is downright negligence. I would really like to know what the hell happened to my dog's CUT leg, because I have a hard time believing that no one knows. The question becomes, what would the very likely trail of blood tell you on the floor near wherever the mysterious injury occurred. There had to be blood near where the injury occurred. My issue is, just be honest and tell the truth. Don't make stuff up, especially when my dog comes home with a STAPLE in her CUT leg. It's dishonest and I will not be taking my dogs back here again. I recommend that no one brings their dogs to board here. I would give this place 0 starts for the experience if I could. My dog is traumatized!
