The people are very nice and friendly and the service is good, although they should feed their dogs more water.

We love the Claridge. Our two dogs love the place and always some home happy. Staff is amazing.

Chris is an ARTIST. This is a salon, not just a grooming service. This was our puppy's 3rd visit: she walks in looking like a dirty, shaggy polar bear and walks out looking like a model. So happy to find a groomer and a staff who love her and make her happy. She will continue to dig and get tangles and Chris will continue to keep that cotton candy hair looking beautiful. read more

The Claridge Pet Resort - Before and after grooming - look at the difference!!! - Pet Sitting Near Me - Collierville, Tennessee

First of all, a lot of their good reviews are family and employees. I've used Claridge for 3-4 years and they've never allowed me to tour the place. The owner is completely detached from the business and the young, unprofessional employees know it, running the place however they want. They're rude and treat customers like an annoyance. I pulled up at 1:30 today for 1/2 day of daycare. The "manager" told me the dogs were napping and adding my Pekingese would disrupt everyone, potentially causing a fight....What?! My dog doesn't even bark. This is the third time my husband and I have been turned away for some made up reason. The employees want to work as little and leave as soon as possible. I didn't feel like they cared about me or my dog, so we won't be back. read more

I have been going here for over a year, but now they will no longer be getting my business. If I could give them less than one star I would. The scheduling is a joke. You have to wait months in order for your dog to be seen and if you don't schedule the day after your pet has been seen there's a chance you won't get in for a good 4 months. I scheduled my dogs appointment in December for the end of January, however, there was a snowstorm, so THEY canceled my appointment and did not reschedule it. Once I called to make an another appointment, they told me that my dog would not be seen until April. So I made a FULL grooming appointment for her in APRIL but then I then decided to make an additional "partial grooming" appointment as well in between that time frame (January- April) so she wouldn't go 4 and a half months without getting groomed. Unfortunately, I had to cancel that appointment because of a scheduling conflict I had. The receptionist then said to me in a very condescending tone "if you're going to cancel your dog's appointment again then you need to let us know ahead of time so Chris can book that appointment". Which I didn't even cancel the first one in the first place and even if I did, canceling 3 grooming appointments in a over a year shouldn't be a big deal and the customer shouldn't feel guilty about that either. I told her I wasn't canceling her full grooming appointment I was just canceling her partial grooming appointment because I couldn't make it. So her original appointment for April should still be in the books. Fast forward to April, I called to confirm my dog's appointment and THEY CANCELED MY DOGS APPOINTMENT WITHOUT MY CONSENT!! The lady told me that Chris (the groomer) was "done working with me and my dog because of the cancellations". She said "well since you canceled her partial grooming appointment I assumed you wanted to cancel the other appointment too". Not once did I ever say to cancel her main grooming appointment after waiting for MONTHS for that appointment. The disrespect they show their customers and the fact that they try to blame their customers for their mistakes is truly unacceptable, unbelievable and disgusting. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I will never go back. I would also like to note that there has been rumors of hitting dogs and such while grooming... I obviously chose to believe the good in this community, but now seeing how they treat me and my dog I wouldn't put it past them. Don't risk it and just go somewhere else. read more

Emily P. You have the wrong person. After my sweet dog's experience I would never bring a dog into your building even if you had a great groomer. I entrusted you with my small older dog. I found out later she never got her eye drops although I paid for the service. The bottle wasn't even opened. It amazes me that I had to pay for extras like having someone give her affection or play with her. I left dog bones that were never given to her. ( I suppose it is because I had to pay Claridge to give her a bone. Ooops). I don't believe she received any. She was extremely traumatized when I picked her up after a week. I have never heard a dog actually scream & shake like that. I imagine it may have been like solitary confinement for her. Because your staff forgot to put the drops in her eyes she went blind after a few weeks. She died a month later. I believe the stress of staying there reduced her lifespan. read more

I want to say that our family dog Lucky Lanigan was well taken care of. The people are caring people that looked after him while the rest of went of vacation. The former place Lucky went to was not on the same level. The doggy day care made he so tired when he came home. I am glad they took care of him and plan to use again when we take another vacation next year since pets are not allowed. We were able to bring his bed and favorite toy to keep him occupied and feeling like home. They even gave him a bath before we picked him up. read more

We have had such a positive experience with Claridge Pet Resort! We have a special needs Labrador who has anxiety and separation issues, and every time we have tried to leave her in the past, we have returned to a sick dog in need of medicine. We have left our 2 dogs at Claridge twice now and returned to happy, healthy dogs - they love the "daycare" activities during their stay and attention they receive from the staff. Very thankful we have an option for our dogs to take a vacation while we do too. read more

We absolutely love The Claridge Pet Resort and so does our hyper, happy, huge 2 year old labradoodle. When we say "daycare"" he gets SO excited. We pull in their drive and he whimpers to get out and darts to the door. He comes home exhausted and clean! He is never muddy even on rainy days - big plus for me. The groomer, Chris, is absolutely amazing and listens to you. It is apparent he loves his work as it is reflected in a returned happy, handsome dog. We also use The Claridge for our boarding. Love it! I've recommended them to others. They do everything I ask them. I do wish they had cameras tho because I love to watch how my dog interacts with other dogs. So I text them and they send a video, picture, whatever you want. Always! Everyday! It works. Thanks Claridge for doing what you love to do and taking such great care of our fur babies. I wouldn't go any place else. read more

I've been using Claridge for my two dogs for many years!! I've always been very happy with their service and never worry about them while they are there! One of my dogs has some issues with being afraid of people and they go out of their way to work with her and make her feel comfortable. I wouldn't leave my girls anywhere else!! read more

The best grooming place in collierville/Germantown area. I want to start off my saying my dog, Luna, is not really a people person dog. She is very picky about who she wants to be friends with. With that being said, she LOVES Chris! I think that really says something about how he is with the animals! And he always gives her an amazing cut and he's a super nice/sweet guy! read more

Maggie does not love the car so is down on the seat until she realizes where she is. Then tail is going and she cannot get out of the car fast enough! (Yes, she gets lots of love, food and exercise at home too!). This happens every time without exception so it must be a positive experience for her, every time and it's been a lot of times in her nine years! While she does not cower at the vet she sure does not act the same there! read more

I would like everyone to know what a wonderful place The Claridge Pet Resort is for fur babies! We have entrusted them for years and know when we are out of town, our dogs are treated with care and consideration, doing the same routines with them as I fo at home. They remember our instructions from visit to visit and review upon each drop off. Our dogs are happy and healthy after each visit and only display well being! My mind is always at ease knowing they are in their care! read more

Well if I could get someone to call me back!! I've been trying for days to get someone to give me a quote for boarding.. I left several messages and have never received a call back!! Not a good sign so far. Their behavior up front tells me I would probably not be happy with these services!! I'm moving on!!! read more

I have been bringing my dogs to Claridge every work day for 11 years now. Wouldn't take them anywhere else. Emily, Jennifer, Mallorie, Chandler, Elizabeth and Chris along with all the other kids treat my dogs so well and truly love the dogs who spend their days there. When my older dogs were alive, they were so kind and gentle with them even as they needed more and more care. Now with my new pups, they continue that same great care and attention. Bring your dogs--they will love it read more

We are beyond thankful for Claridge! Claridge is our doodle's 2nd home. We use their daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Chris is the best groomer hands down. When we discovered Chris it was after a horrible grooming and he made her look amazing. Our doodle recently was there for 2 weeks and it was great knowing she was loved on and having fun. Poppy gives Claridge 2 paws up! read more

I've used them just once and WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Very UNPROFESSIONAL response from the team. We left our pet with them for a week and on the way back we had issues with our flight been delayed and impacting the time to pick him up. We called the office twice asking for them to wait us around 10min and the answer was a blunt NO. We got there 7 min. late and the office was close but there were people inside the office. We wave to them and called them but NO ANSWERS. If the problem was the $40/day cost of one more day they could tell us and we would pay for that. Anyway - VERY FRUSTRATING. I'll do my best to not let any of my friends let their pets in this place. read more

Winston first went to Claridge in February of 2014. It was his first time being away from me overnight. I was so nervous. I went out and had a tour and I asked about a billion questions. lol. Facility is very nice and clean. All of the employees that I met were very friendly and the ones tha I obverved seemed to really love working with the dogs. 3 days later my husband dropped Winston off. He stayed for 3 nights. When I picked him up he just finished "doggie daycare" and didn't seem all that excited to see me. He was exhausted. ha ha Winston just had his second stay. He was there for 1 night. I wasn't nervous at all this time when he went. I would def recommend taking your friend here. It's a great place. read more

We've taken our dogs to The Claridge for almost ten years and they've become a part of our family. We have high energy dogs and the staff helps us by keeping them busy/engaged so they get good exercise and attention. Emily, Mallory and the staff really have made a positive difference in our lives so we are Claridge fans for life!! Thank you Claridge!!! read more

Our dogs have been going to Claridge for daycare and vacation since it opened at this location! The staff goes above and beyond, which we deeply appreciated when our Maggie became suddenly ill as her cancer returned for the last time. Our dogs never looked back when arriving. They love Claridge!Recommend the groomer as well! read more

My dog, Eli, stayed at Claridge from July 1-9th. He was well taken care of. The drop off was organized and easy. I felt confident in leaving my baby there. Eli has been very sick and we haven't been able to board him in quite sometime. They gave him his medicines and he came home without any problems. He even celebrated his 5th Birthday at Claridge. We bought him a special cupcake cookie and they took a video of it on his special day and shared it with us! . I would definitely recommend Claridge! read more

This place is awful! Would never in a million years bring my dog here for anything ever again. Once they realized he wasn't a fit for daycare, they rudely called me like yeah you're gonna need to come get him. No other info was provided. Then, when I got him, the heavy brunette who brought him out didn't even offer more insight. Just kinda threw my dogs leash at me. In fact I was the one apologizing it didn't work out. How does that make any sense? You should be out of business. Lost me as a customer on my first day. Will never take him here for grooming. It seems like you only care about $$$ and not dogs. Or their families. This is the thanks I get for rescuing. Never felt so Un-welcomed. Listen to the other reviews- they are spot on. read more

We love Claridge Pet Resort! We have been going to Claridge for many years and all of our dogs love it there. The accommodations are so nice. Dogs staying at Claridge get more one-on-one time with the staff than they do at other boarding facilities. They also offer more ways to customize your dog's daily schedule while staying there. The staff at Claridge Pet Resort has always gone above and beyond to meet the needs of our dogs. read more

Maybe I could give a higher rating if I could ever book my dog in there. Every time I call for a reservation (it was 4 times this week) I am told someone will call me back. No one called. So I went online and filled out the reservation request. No one got back to me. Do they even WANT any business? read more

We booked our dog in this resort for 3 days while we were having our HVAC units replaced at our house over the summer. The staff was friendly and the prices were decent considering what we thought we would be receiving. A few days after we got home our dog started scratching all over and ended up having a horrible infestation of fleas. They ended up getting all in my house and cost us close to $400 to treat our house, dog, and yard. When I contacted the resort they denied that it could have came from them. My dog has never stayed anywhere before and isn't around any other animals. She has never had fleas before or anything so coincidentally after staying at this resort she had an outbreak of fleas. Needless to say, we will not be returning customers. read more

Their programs and facilities for dogs are wonderful. They do fill up quickly, so plan with enough time to spare. On the other hand, their facilities for cats are laughable. They can house a maximum of eight cats in a room smaller than most Collierville walk-in closets, then stick your cat in a three foot by three foot box, with little extensions to a food and water shelf and a tiny, tiny litter box shelf. There's a tall cat tree in the center of the room, but with scents of so many cats from boardings past, I doubt any cat genuinely uses it. Additionally, not sure how any exercise for the cats are possible given the minimal square footage. The only windows in the room are high on the wall, so look up for any cats out of their boxes before you take your cat out. I thought boarding my cat here would be a life saver, but the cat-allocated space make any potential impossible. read more

Took my cat up here for boarding. Friendly manager I love Jennifer and Emily so much.

My dog Sheba is always so excited to go to Claridge! The staff greets her warmly and there is no separation anxiety whatsoever. They do a great job pairing her up with fellow patrons for play time. Unlike most kennels, there is absolutely no odor in the facility. I have total confidence that Sheba is well-cared for at Claridge and highly recommend them. read more

I've brought my dog here for doggy day care and for boarding; he is always happy to be here and the staff couldn't be any nicer. The facility is lovely, clean and modern and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a safe and trustworthy place to leave their best 4 legged friend. read more

I brought my two dogs here to stay while I went on a 10 day vacation. One of my dogs needed her medicine every day, twice a day. When I got there to pick them up, I found out they had been giving medication to the wrong dog the entire time. Side note- the dogs don't look anything alike.. One is white and a male and the other is brown and a female. I had verbally given specific instructions before I left AND even wrote a note saying who got the medicine. This is not only a very careless mistake on their part, but it could have been extremely dangerous to my pets. For what this facility charges, I would expect top of the line care. Needless to say, my dogs will not be staying here again. read more

Claridge is an amazing facility. They keep it so clean and the staff are all animal lovers. The pricing is reasonable and my baby girl is always so happy when i pick her up from daycare and lodging. read more

I reserved a spot for our dog and asked if I could view the rooms prior to dropping off. The young lady said it was not an issue at all. However, when I arrived it was an issue and the same young lady I spoke with on the phone did not want to make this happen. Actually, she seemed to not be able to get me out any quicker. Needless to say, we had to find a place at the last minute, we were in a pinch. What we found out after the fact, our pup was left in a cage all day with the exception of three potty breaks, must have been "mis-communication." Horrible way to treat a member of the family, we will highly recommend our friends never use this place! read more

I did not have a good experience here at all. When I dropped my dog off I told them I wanted him to have doggy daycare everyday while there. When I picked him up it wasn't on my receipt. The girl that checked me out said they didn't add it so he didn't go out. The manager came out and said my dog was too afraid to go to doggy daycare with the other dogs. I know that's BS because I just moved from Fort Lauderdale and he loved going to the doggy daycare there. I now take him to The Brown Dog Lodge where he loves to go and play. It was a blatant lie. Brown Dog is 100 times better! read more

It was my first time getting my 3 year old husky groomed here to get "the shed treatment" and I don't think that I will bringing him here again. The grooming /shed treatment took well over 5 hours and when I picked him up, he was still partially wet, no bandana or anything and it didn't look like they did anything more than give him a bath and trim his nails. If anything the shedding is way worse and his fur is getting all over everything more than ever. It seems like a nice place and I don't have any experience with boarding there, but in terms of their "shed treatment" I would give it a thumbs down. read more

I am so surprised to see negative reviews on the Claridge Pet Resort. I just want to weigh in here because my dogs have had the best possible experience. I have two rescue dogs both that had big issues when we first adopted them. The first dog had been abused and was fairly anti-social and scared of everything. Also very protective of us so I was worried how he would do at day care or overnight. He loves going to Claridge. My second dog is a fairly recent rescue. When we first brought him into our home he was a nervous wreck. He settled in but I was extremely worried about what would happen if I had to send him to day care. As it turns out, a situation presented itself that I now have to send them both every day for at least the next month. Today the two of them were so excited when I said "get in the car", it is time to go to the Pet Resort. When I dropped them off..they couldn't get out of the car fast enough and were extremely happy to see the staff. They come home after the day and are actually happier then when I leave them alone during the day. The care they get is amazing. The staff knows all the dogs personally and is always so gracious when I call with a last minute request. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for day care or for overnight, longer term stays. My dogs love them! So...from Rhody and Mikey...they say give Claridge Pet Resort 10 stars... if you could! read more
