I moved to Memphis only a few months ago and one of the things I worried about most was finding a…read morenew vet for my aging dog. Back home we were lucky to have the best of the best in the country right in our back yard. I went to Collierville Animal Clinic after I received a "free visit" welcome card from them in the mail. What a happy accident! So far I've worked with Dr. Burch, Dr. Horn and Dr. Kingsley (told you my dog is aging!) and they have all gone above and beyond to help with her ailments. They personally call to to follow up on how your pet is feeling, you can tell they genuinely care when they handle your pet, and maybe best of all, they notice and appreciate your pet's characteristics and mannerisms with humor and warmth. At this point, my dog and I have worked mostly with Dr. Kingsley and even if I lived on the opposite side of Memphis, I'd drive the whole way just to continue this working relationship. The other doctors here fabulous, too, though. Sold!

Collierville Animal Clinic was able to take her as a medical board so they could keep her calm and administer her meds. They were a lifesaver considering our hotel was not pet friendly and it would have been a long car ride for her had we taken her. I was nervous leaving her to board, but I had piece of mind knowing she was under medical supervision.

Like Lisa, I recommend going elsewhere. This was our second visit in a few months. The vet was nice…read moreand thorough, and they are convenient. I thought they were a little expensive on the first visit, but this 2nd visit was very problematic. I took my dog for grooming. They originally said $45 for a puppy cut. So I scheduled. (For context, my regular groomer that came to my house was about $80.) Last night, they texted me asking for my rabies vax, which was done in another state. During my 1st vet visit, I had asked them to transfer the records, but I guess this wasn't done. Without the rabies vax, they wouldn't groom. So, I asked them to request records again, but if she wasn't up to date, I asked them to give her the vax. They wouldn't do a vax without a complete physical. I dropped my dog off and came home. As I was about to pull into my neighborhood, they called and said I needed to come back to sign a paper. So, I went back to sign. Then, they texted me an estimate for $248 (you can see from photo) for physical, bloodwork, all vaxes, and grooming. I said I didn't need blood work. So, they reduced the price to $205 (you can see from photo-but may need to click on it to see it fully). They later called and said my dog needed to be sedated to be groomed (never happened in the 3 years I've had her--she is tiny and has no teeth), and that they could only do a bath today. I went to pick her up, and they said that she was already up to date on rabies vax(!!) but gave me a TN tag. They first charged me $160. Then, when I asked about not needing the rabies and only getting a bath, she told me $210. I was stunned. How is it possible that I had to pay more for a bath with no rabies vax than a grooming with a rabies vax? And I had to pay for a physical when she already had her rabies vax, which they should have known from our first visit? So, basically, I woke up this morning thinking my dog would get a grooming for $45, but I left paying $205 for a bath, wasted time, and stress.

Olive Branch Animal clinic was such a great place to take your pets. They are so kind and care…read moreabout the needs of your pets. I would highly recommend them caring for your pets. They were so good with our little cookie. Even though she ended up having to be put to sleep they were so kind and caring to her and respected us to in how they treated her. All the vet techs, vets and offices workers were so kind and caring. I want to thank them for all they did for cookie. You can't find any other place in this area that would have been so concerned about your pet. Its also a walk in clinic no appointments.

My pup got spayed here. Her recovery was great. No complaints on that…read more Weeks later I brought her in to get medication for vomiting and the vet noted that down- all good, gave us the medicine. I also mentioned she had been shaking her head a lot. So he told me they could clean out her ears. I accepted and he told me someone else would come in to take her to the back and clean her ears. But while we were in the waiting room, I noticed some small bumps on her skin , so I brought that up to the male vet(we are already there- might as well) he completely ignored me and said he doesn't feel anything on her. Mind you, she has a bunch of curly fur so you can't just pet her and feel it. You have to separate her fur and actually feel for her skin. So whatever. I ignored it bc she wasn't itching it or licking it. It was just a small red bump. Moments go by and I'm feeling around her paw and I noticed a more concerning bump/lump..idk. I called for another staff member that was around, and I told HER. She starts feeling around her paw and she notices the bump I am talking about. This was easier to find bc I told her she had got gum stuck in her paw a couple days ago and I used coconut oil to massage it out and there was slightly less fur around that area. She called in another girl. Not sure if she's a vet or not, but they shaved down that area to get a better look and they basically just said it was probably scabbed. Maybe the coconut oil irritated her skin. Ok Cool. They put some cream on her and told me to come back if it got worse. Saying allll that to say, please advocate for your fur babies These visits arnt free. Don't let them brush off your concerns.
