Bartaco - Tacos Near Me - Aventura, Florida

Our family loves Bartaco ever since we discovered the original one in Port Chester when we lived in NY. Now in FL, we are so excited to have this location in Aventura, we have visited the restaurant in person, but most recently we have gotten takeout due to the shutdown . . . once a week for the past three weeks. The food is always fresh and the salsa & guac trio is some of the best we've ever eaten. They now even have margaritas to-go, definitely recommend Bartaco as a great affordable option for some awesome food. Can't wait to be able to dine in again but in the meantime takeout will do read more

This is one of my favorite spots to eat in Aventura. Everything on the menu is fantastic and the ambience is impeccable. All this aside, the team here is exceptional. Everyone you meet treats you like that friendly neighbor who's always willing to let you borrow a cup of sugar. On this visit, I felt inclined to write a review because the service I received was over-the-top excellent. Julian, Leo and Light were incredibly kind and attentive to me on my solo-lunch. Julian and Leo, both, made sure to come by and say hello, ask me about my day, and to make sure I had everything I needed/wanted to ensure a quality lunch. They had no reason to do this since they weren't my server, which made it that much more special and personable. These are the kind of interactions that make me feel like a guest, rather than a customer. Something I don't easily overlook. Light was wonderful as well. She made sure to update me as all my food items came out and to give me some extra gordita sauce for my leftovers before I left! The best stuff out there!! I could drink it, honestly. Anyways, make sure to be extra kind to your dragonflies; they're all the sweetest bunch!! read more

Very spicy. Everything is very spicy. Mushrooms, guacamole, cauliflower, corn, chips, things that don't need to be spicy. Can we calm down a bit? Thank you very much read more

This was a delivery order when we were visiting Hollywood. All of the food was delicious. I mean everything. The chips and salsa are unique but quite nice. I wish there were one closer to me. I'm sure i'd be there weekly. If you live near or are in the area, don't hesitate to give Bartaco a try. read more

My husband and I love this place. We always sit at the bar since it's just the two of us and it's super convenient. They have the best margaritas made from scratch, no sour mix! The tacos.... Try them all! They are bite sized and most if not all are spicy. read more

Out of the ordinary tacos, great margaritas and a fresh ambiance!!! Try the Panuchos, Duck Birria and the Oyster Tacos. Delicious.

Great food and service. Try the Mexican street corn off the cob. It's so good! The cauliflower bowl was very good. I love guacamole but theirs was just too spicy for me to eat. Other people at my table liked it, just too spicy for me read more

First time going to Bartaco today. The first thing that caught my attention was the decor. Very very cool and gives off this modern chill-like vibe. The music blends with this vibe beautiful as well. The prices were amazing as well. We ordered 2 drinks, and boat were delicious. My girlfriend ordered the margarita and it tasted like a smooth yet natural margarita. You could tell the ingredients for her and my smoke on the water were of quality and freshness. The food, definitely worth calling this a staple for us. We tried the roasted duck which was good. Well cooked and a great portion. We also had the baja fish which is definitely worth trying even just once. Perfectly battered and it's other paired ingredients that come with the tortilla were amazing. Carne asada was seasoned well and was cooked to a perfect temperature. Soft but could of used some salt (i have a salt tooth when it comes to steak) but still worth ordering. It was definitely delicious. Now the best and the one taco after we were done the first order, i went back and ordered again, was the glazed pork belly taco. Crisped to perfection. Caramelized to perfection. The only thing i would say is that if you get the shrimp, save some cabbage for it if you crave a bit more texture with the taco, but honestly, it was perfect. Finally, our waitress Sothea, was just a bundle of quick and efficient joy. Being part of the restaurant industry for 3 years in the past, i have serious appreciation for quality staff and she was so friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations. Whenever we go back, we will be asking for her. She is our Bartaco waitress. read more

Awesome place great food great service at a great price Try the fish tacos and the mojitos

Wonderful food. Everything is top notch and delicious! Each taco has a different and unique flavor. The fish is the best in my opinion bc it is perfectly crispy and is beautifully plated. The service was wonderful in every way and shoutout to Gideon who I think is the manager. He was wonderful and amazing in every way. Keeping every single person in the restaurant in mind knowing what we need and want. The ambiance has a dim lighting and has a rustic wood look to it with hints of blue and white. It was wonderful and we enjoy going every time. read more

Before we continue to scroll through and read reviews that are one star.... please keep one thing in mind ! YOU ARE IN AVENTURA, where you'll receive one star for just looking at a house wife the wrong way! This place amazing beyond 5 stars. Check me out, I went to dinner with my lady, she placed her order and we asked for drinks which are all freshly squeezed! I placed my order shortly after hers about 10 minutes roughly, our drinks arrived and tasted wonderful! We received our guac started chipping away, about 15 min later we receive our first order but it was actually the 2nd order placed which was mine. I'm very respectful and was not about to start having my tacos without my lady having hers so my order sat at the table and I patiently waited for her tacos to arrive. Another 15 minutes later and her tacos finally arrived we began to have dinner... yes I am a rarity I don't mind eating cold food! 5 minutes into our tacos a 2nd round of drinks (on the house) come through dropped of by Tim (Shouts to you my brother)! Moral of the story be patient and humble (AVENTURA) Bartaco will take care of you undoubtably! read more

First time at Bartaco and the experience was amazing, the atmosphere already set the mood for how great of a spot this would be. Ray was super nice and helpful with recommendations, she definitely gave me good choices with the menu. I tried the cauliflower taco which was really tasty and had a nice level of spice to it, the baja fish was really tasty as well, I never had fried fish but this was really good. I appreciated the service here and enjoyed my time at Bartaco. I will definitely be coming back, 10/10 and would love others to experience this just as I have. read more

Loved every single taco I got. Excellent kids menu! And the churros with vanilla ice cream... amazing. Have to say... Best Mexican spot in Miami. read more

Vegetarian tacos were good! I loved the portobello the most, sangria was decent! I tried the acoustic, it was a little watered down + service was TERRIBLE. Our server didn't check on us, completely forgot to give us water, and would simply pass our table without any acknowledgement or even asking if we wanted to order more...(which we did!) 3 stars for the tacos + ambiance 0 stars for service read more

We here on the recommendation of the New Times. Found it it the back of a brand new business area in Aventura. Parking is sparse, but you can easily go to lot half a block away (no charge) or valet. Place is nicely decorated and well done, set outside on the patio, but had to deal with street noise and a smell of vomit wafting in from somewhere. The place has a pretty different menu, where you check the box on the hand in menu sheets. The tacos are small, you will definitely need 3-5 of them but I will say what I had where great. Duck, pork belly, Chicken, and fish. We has a few sides, cucumbers, and guacamole with salsa. Overall this place is nice foods good, but even tho tacos $2.25 a piece dont think your leaving here light, our bill was over $50 and when weren't drinking. I will say tho quality is really good and worth it. I will go back again read more

I love this restaurant. I recommend checking out the "no taco" section - corn, plantains, bowls - amazing. Drinks are delicious. Tacos are good, but I think they have too much spice, taste a bit similar to one another. The concept is unique - you sit at a table and order and pay from your phone. Check it out! read more

Attended the Grand Opening last night where I was greeted by GM Tim Kerr who proudly introduced me to his work class team of bartenders and servers. Tim and the Bartaco team have created an oasis in Aventura with high energy vibe, healthy food choices and fresh ingredients for their signature drinks. Even the choices of the local brews were carefully planned. Located on the first floor of the Aloft hotel, don't expect a normal hotel restaurant, from the moment you walk into the outdoor patio and hostess area you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

The Devore was inviting and welcoming. The hanging basket chandeliers was really meet. The order system and service was good, however if your are hungry, this is not the place. While the tacos was tasteful the size and amount was really small. I was disappointed, I came with wife and two friends we end up going else where for more food. read more

Came out of the blue because of long waits at the Aventura mall, and I'm glad I came! The food is yummy and fresh! Our runner was very friendly too! They have a pretty patio and nicely decorated! Major Malibu vibes coming from this place! Absolutely loved the decor and the beach vibes it gives you, with it's basket light fixtures, and absolutely beautiful bar at the center of the restaurant, with tons of open window/doors, it feels like it you casually strolled into a beachfront restaurant on the California coast. A+ for decor that's for damn sure. It's cool how they have the "card up" system in case you need to ask the servers a question, kinda like Fogo de Chao when you want more meat you turn your card over to green except here they don't approach you with unlimited tacos lmao. But any way, you basically do mobile ordering by scanning the QR code at the table. If you want a separate checks for the table the system will automatically total everything together but at the end you're able to divide items and such on different checks. The experience was super easy! We didn't have any issues. The Mexican street corn was pretty awesome basically lathered in cheese. The tuna Tatako was probably one of my favorite dishes! The tuna was soooooo tender. For my spicy lovers (where y'all at?!) you MUST try the #bartacosecret chili-lime shrimp taco - phewwwwwwww it had me SWEATING!!!! A little bit too much for my taste buds which felt like I was left with none after those tacos lol but hey, worth the try. The glazed pork belly was a table favorite as well! I normally don't care for quesadillas but I had to try the duck quesadillas with birria, and wow, game changer! And the mason jar key lime pie, super adorable and absolutely delish! All was excellent with the exception of the drink which was disappointing. Maybe it was an acquired taste. Can't really pinpoint if it needed more lime or a hint of salt for it to taste better. Overall, very cool experience as a first timer at Bartaco and would definitely go back! read more

The tacos are reasonable; however, the service keeps going downhill steadily over the last six months. The card concept is excellent when it works; it looks like the employees try to ignore it. During our experience tonight, we ordered several items that took forever to come out, we canceled some of them out of frustration and asked for them to be removed from the bill. The manager didn't even bother to come to check in on what happen or apologize. read more

Great, and all respects. All the tacos were great. We tried everyone my Favorites was the duck taco and a pork belly taco and the oyster taco with fresh shocked oysters that the belly was still juicy and that's the way to do it. And of course they serve the Brazilian drink with lime witches the best drink because it's not so sweet it's made with the Brazilian Vodka or you can say Brazil Rum. I highly recommend it. Very airy and open and plants all around the perimeter. Lovely place. read more

Love the concept of this restaurant, easy and smooth experience. You ordered all your food online, server brings it out and sporadically checks on you. If you need anything just order online no need to wait for the server to come back to check on you every so often. Tacos are super tasty, salsas and cocktails are spot on. Can't go wrong with this spot! read more

My husband and I are in love with this place! We are new to the neighboring area and were craving tacos after walking Aventura mall we found Bartaco- the only taco spot open late that had great reviews so we decided to check it out. Omg this has become our go-to spot for literally every single date night. We have a newborn baby so we don't get out much but when we do without fail Bartaco is our spot. The service is great- Julian especially is amazing he's always smiling and checking up on the table he's cool to talk too. Aside from the food his energy and service made our first visit memorable and enjoyable. Every host has gone out of their way to accommodate my family in a comfortable spot for our stroller where the music is not as loud for our daughter. The service is fast especially considering how busy it usually is. The place is absolutely beautiful our tables are always very clean as well as cups and utensils (which I admit to be very picky about.) Now the food is absolutely amazing- literally everything my husband and I have tried has surpassed our expectations. The shrimp and pork belly bowls are amazing although the pork belly is our go to without fail it's absolutely delicious I literally dream about it. The tacos are to die for. Literally can't go wrong with any of them: pork belly taco, ribeye, chorizo, carnita, shrimp, damn even the mushroom taco is amazing! The churros are delicious damn even the sprite in the glass bottles hit different but our go to now is the Arnie carafe. This place is not even expensive for how great the food and service is. read more

The food and service here were top tier! This place has such a chic yet relaxed vibe. Very aesthetically pleasing but also comfortable. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly. Such a pleasure to be around. I said something in passing to my friend at the table about sipping our drinks and immediately someone overheard and brought us some straws. Bartaco has a very different way of doing food orders online (which is cool and efficient), and they were very accommodating since we didn't understand it much and helped us out. Thanks to Hervin, he was super helpful! He gave the best food & drink recommendations, everything was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!! read more
