Easy booking. Basic necessities were provided. Got the model room we wanted. I was able to contact barsala through text at any time. Our room was spotless. We appreciated the bathroom supplies of quality shampoo, conditioner and body soap. We did wish more pots and pans were provided. The only thing we would have appreciated was to have available bell carts. The bad thing was we were not told beforehand that there was construction going on. Really loud and the floors were shaking. Scary!

Full kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils, cleaning supplies, etc.

Fantastic location. The location was steps from the commons and a 5 min walk to state street. Easy check in and and out. HIGHLY recommended. Check out Stoddards next door for a drink and JM Curleys for a grilled cheese! The location was taken care of, and Nika was very responsive and helpful. She offered suggestions and links to help me out when I had questions. Nika was easy to communicate with, her instructions were clear, and she was available for questions. The white towels actually looked white, and it looks like they took pride in their location. The apartment was well stocked, but we did end up buying and leaving some laundry detergent there so we could wash out towels. All in all, it was the best AirBNB I have ever booked. Definitely give it a go!

I was so disappointed with Barsala; We booked with them a year ago, Before a month we had to move out due to personal reasons; we informed Barsala and asked them that we couldn't continue next month (15 days before we told them before the next month starts), They said that the money could be credited to you and can be used by you for a year. After that, most states they offered had only extended long-term stays (More than 30 days); now our money is just stuck! Neither can we go for a month, Nor can we use that money in any sense! We have explained and written to them explaining the situation, But it has been so challenging to get our money out! If you are paying them, you need to be double careful. The support team has no response! There is no way to contact or explain it to the higher management. I would not recommend them! You can see some emails which were sent by my husband and me to them!

The place was a mess outside and very dusty. The representative of the company by the name of Baldy is unprofessional

I would not recommend renting from Seattle Vacation Home under any circumstances…read more We booked a home called The Autobahn through Expedia for our family, based on its layout, features, and photos. Just before our trip, the property management company told us the home was suddenly unavailable due to "maintenance issues" and moved us to a different house without our consent. That's where the trouble started. The replacement property was dirty, unsafe, and misrepresented. There were stained carpets, a smelly basement, peeling deck boards, filthy bathtubs, and no AC during a heat wave in Seattle. Many rooms had no way to ventilate safely -- windows were sealed shut or lacked screens. Worse: after visiting the original property we booked, we discovered it hadn't been maintained or prepared for guests in months. It was never going to be available. The "maintenance issue" excuse was a complete fabrication. This was a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. When I tried to address the concerns, the owner was dismissive and condescending, suggesting that we should have "ignored the lower two floors" of the home (which were filthy). He took no responsibility for the condition of the property or the misleading communication. We've documented everything with photos, a timeline, and communication logs, which have been shared with Expedia and will be escalated further if needed. This company may appear professional online, but our experience was the opposite. If you're traveling with your family or expecting a quality rental that matches the listing, look elsewhere.

This lodge was used for our return flight from SEATAC to HNL due to the convenience factor close to the airport. One thing I've learned over many years of travel - stay closer to the hotel if you have an early morning flight out. Don't risk staying miles away driving in traffic, because anything can happen. STELLAR: - Shout out to TJ and Minerva!!! - We were treated with the utmost care and almost like family the minute we checked in to drop off our luggage. We were very early but didn't want to explore Seattle with luggage in our rental car, so they stored it for us. They texted us several hours later to tell us our room was early. We ended up checking in at 10:30 PM because we had other plans and forgot to tell the hotel. They were very worried about us as they saw our luggage still sitting on the floor. They feared we got into a bad accident, or got kidnapped, and all other manner of bad things. Next time I will make sure to call ahead. GREAT: - Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice and spacious! - Quiet and restful. - Very attractive grounds. My plan was to explore but we got back late into the night, so perhaps next time. - Self parking, lot of room! Open-air. - Super close to the airport, less than 15 minutes away. - Complimentary mini Haagen Daas Ice Creams in the common lounge in the freezer (see picture) - Complimentary purified water stations, coffee in the AM and cookies. - Affordable, especially if you book out a year in advance like I did. We paid $274.36 for a Double Queen. - Self park daily $33.00. Other: - We grabbed take out breakfast from Taco Bell down the street for the airport wait. - If you want to have some wine, cocktails or beer, save your money, don't buy any from the gas station down the street, the cost was prohibitive. Buy before you get to Cedarbrook. The Lodge has a cocktail lounge but didn't try it. Amazing lodge with the best service, clean, spacious and quiet rooms on a gorgeous property near SEATAC airport. Return Factor: - Yes, next time will try to enjoy the grounds and the amenities instead of using it as a crash pad.

Located on a bluff above Eagle Harbor, there is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the massive expanse of water and sky. A curving set of wood and stone steps lead down to the water where one can barbeque, go kayaking, sit and relax, or walk on the beach. I saw an eagle swoop on some cormorants that were sitting out on a floating dais (they dove and easily escaped him). The view of Mt. Rainier from the beach is unique and if one walks down a ways one can see the Seattle skyline. The place is everything it is advertised to be: the windows overlook Eagle Harbor with the ferries coming and going, the kitchen is well equipped and the stove has gas burners, the bed is very comfortable, the television has more channels than I would ever watch, Wi Fi is free, the bathroom is clean and the showerhead is powerful. The owners were friendly and honored my privacy. Photographers, artists, birdwatchers, couples, small families, kayakers, an individual looking to relax - I could go on - will all find something here. I found true peace and quiet.

I threw it in the washer/dryer along with several towels because I no longer trusted the cleanliness of the linens and it came out looking brand-new and almost unrecognizable from what it was before. Yikes. -Missing some very basic-level necessities in terms of dining, cooking, and baking. No wine glasses, one lonely mixing bowl, one tiny cookie sheet, everything else is jumbled together in one big drawer with lots of sharp pointy things that no doubt hundreds of hands have touched. -Everything is technically clean but it's very surface-level, lots of dust and crumbs in spots, including the coffee table. Again, it's a pandemic. You couldn't wipe it down before the next guest? -If you're looking for the coffeemaker, you will find it in the hallway closet near the front door. No idea why it was put there but guessing it's because housekeeping can't be bothered to clean it. My husband and I didn't find it until our second night. That is the LEAST someone who is in the hospitality business could do to ensure that the guests who have paid a large sum to stay at this dirty old cabin don't freeze to death in the cold. But, we got to the cabin thinking everything was fine, drove family in tow to Leavenworth then to our cabin to find out power is out and has been out. Fine, maybe they didn't know? Fine, then next step should be for a full refund. Because I sure did not pay to camp out with no power near Stevens Pass in the middle of December. But nope, that's too much to ask too. So we drove back home, 3 hours at 9 pm where we had a warm place to stay. Then came back to Stevens pass since we had already booked our lift tickets. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. We opened the door to find not only no power but the stench of stale old body odor. The management is a joke and apparently customer service is not in the vocabulary. As a business owner and also someone who is in the rental industry these people should just quit before they ruin any other holiday plans for another family.

These have been souped up with a heated floor in the shower room and a gas fireplace. We stayed in Lodge 14 and it was fairly spacious, not creaky, with a king size bed in the main bedroom as well as a little curtained-off annex room with a small bed that worked for our son. The biggest issue at this property is that no staff are on sight. You can reach them via text, but there can be quite the delay in receiving an answer or you may receive none at all. You are especially out of luck if you run into a problem "after hours," which is after 5p. We stayed 2 nights. The first night we discovered the only blanket available for the annex bed was very heavy and way too hot. We had to open all the windows in the room to make up for this, which is nice, but the island is alive with birds starting at about 4:30a, making it too loud to have the windows open. We texted the property manager the following morning asking for a normal-weight comforter, or if they want us to just use the AC (we were hesitant to do that in the chilly weather). They informed me that the lodges' electrical systems are tied to each other, and there would be issues if we used AC in our lodge while the lodge next to it might be using the heat. They brought a lighter blanket, but it was barely heavier than a sheet, so not workable. I ended up having to open all the windows and then wake up at 4a to go back into my son's room to close his windows. Not relaxing. The property had a nice communal space with a wood fire pit as well as a glass fire pit (the latter of these emits very little heat), next to bathrooms and what looks like a inside common room and kitchen, though these were locked... You are given a code for the bathrooms. Night 2, at 7p, we wanted to hang out in the space with the friend we were visiting, and we could not access the bathrooms as our code was not working. I texted the number immediately, but no one ever responded. That was a huge bummer. I guess when you arrive, I would recommend immediately checking out all of the amenities and making sure they work, and your code works with them, as no one will be around to help you later. I was extremely disappointed that no one even responded to me. Pros: - It was clean. - Heaters in the shower room were nice - Shower was nice - Bed was large, though with the usual dips in the mattress that you get with many cheaper hotels. - A staff member did respond to my text after the first night issues, and they did try to help - The communal space was quite nice, even though I wasn't able to experience it all - The lodges are well-insulated - The location is excellent. Cons: - The lodge is pretty sterile feeling. It could be greatly improved with more art on the walls. - Only one sink in the lodge. Used for both kitchen and bathroom. - Not enough linen choices for bedding. - The pillows were absolutely horrific. Like large hard stuffed animals. They did bring us two slightly less stuffed pillows after the first night. These were still too hard and uncomfortable. - No bedside lamp on the left side of the main bed - My access codes to other parts of the property did not work, and no one responded to me about it. - The toilet, which is right next to the main bedroom, has an extremely loud flush. Not ideal during the night. - The couch was gross-looking, very worn. We didn't want to use it. We asked that they provide a blanket to cover it with. They assured me it was clean, just worse for wear. This place is cute and convenient. It could be improved with just a little more care and attention to detail (artwork, rugs, more linen options, nicer pillows). It could also be greatly improved by having one staff member on site, or at least on-call at all hours.

There was no one there to greet us and looked like that they were still getting the dining room ready. The hostess did not come out until five minutes before seating time. I was kind of disappointed since this was supposed to be a special Easter brunch, but there was nothing to indicate that this was for Easter other than a few of the desserts. No Easter bunny, there are a couple Easter egg decorations on every table, but that was about it. Still, the ambience was good, a fancy brunch at a fancy hotel. My wife thought that they were too sweet, but that just means I like them a lot. All in all, it was a good brunch to experience once for a special occasion. No huge complaints here.
