It's just 40 minutes from our home, connected by a land bridge to Gig Harbor, so no ferry is necessary. This is our go-to island getaway spot! The kitchen is well-stocked, and the upstairs loft bedroom very comfortable. There are lots of great features in the area -- hiking trails, a fishing dock, and a nice beer garden. I was not an overnight guest but if the main house is any indication of what the guest houses are like, then you are in for a treat. The most amazing this - well 2 of the most amazing things are the view and the theater organ. From the deck you can see the Narrows bridge and it is right on the Sound. You can see MT. Rainier on a clear day. Secondly there is the organ theater. I can't even begin to describe the full room instrument. One must read about it to fully appreciate the history and the creation - but the experience of actually seeing this "instrument" is not to be missed. If you ever have the opportunity to visit the Wulrizer Manor I can assure you - it is well worth the journey
