The lodges on Vashon is a nice, modern lodge with rooms that are larger than your typical hotel room. There is a firepit that is shared amongst the guests and a common area where everyone can enjoy playing games, eating, or just relaxing by an outdoor fireplace listening to live music. Behind the patio are 2 outdoor igloo/spheres which can easily seat 5-7 ppl. It would be fun to hang out in one of these igloos in the fall or winter months. I highly recommend staying here for a short weekend getaway.

This was our first visit to Vashon. The Lodges on Vashon had everything we hoped for. Conveniently located near restaurants and shops, very accommodating for our dogs, clean and stylish. Great outdoor spaces. We will be back!

Take me back! PLEASE! I wished I could have stayed longer. I adored our lodge. Oh all the beautiful details just made me feel special. And as a Mother of 3 adult kids and one young child we need to feel special and catered too! My husband and I went to Vashon Island for a quick getaway. We had lodge number 8. And it was gorgeous! The ceiling to floor windows and cute little table by the window. The fireplace, the heated floors, and the decor is modern and minimal. Clean and sleek. The bathroom has so many features and a cute patio. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was easily accessible. The bedroom honey that mattress will lay your body down! I slept so great! The mattress was soft yet firm. The pillows were perfect. Sheets were a nice thread count. The nature that surrounds your lodge is beautiful. Tall trees walking trails and a communal space to hang out. Fire pit and a cool place to sit by a fir and enjoy a drink. But, that is not all. The lodge is walking distance to so make options to eat. It is so cute to just slow down and walk. The community and people of Vashon are so kind. And the ferry ride is beautiful especially on a clear day. If you are able please stay here. It is a whole experience and worth your time. I will return. I gotta see Vashon in the summer.

Decided to stay on Vashon Island and chose the Lodges. After previewing the property from attending an event and I was not disappointed! I love that my room, was more than a room. It was like a mini lodge, thus the name Lodges on Vashon fits appropriately. The bed was so nice and soft and comfortable. Softer than what I normally prefer but it felt luxurious. Block out blinds make it darker and allowed me to sleep in. The little kitchen was nice and had a French press coffee maker along with the directions which helped. A mini fridge and microwave was nice for my beverages and making the microwave popcorn in the kitchen. A fireplace with a timer was nice for the evening. The bath tub was also epic. With a heated floor and heat lamp, I felt like a queen. Add the bath salts and voila! The toilet is in an entirely separate place which was nice, if you were staying with someone they could use the toilet if the shower/tub was occupied. The rest of the lodge had plenty of aesthetic and seating. I wish a few throw blankets but, oh well. The property has community areas to grill and or play games. The outdoor globes to sit in are cozy and warm. I can't say enough to express how much I loved staying here versus a traditional hotel. No one above you or the sounds of annoying doors that usually come with a hotel room. Just peace, quiet and relaxation. Worth every penny! Happy travels. SYOY.

Would have never known about this place if it hadn't been for the Passport to Vashon Event by Yelp being hosted by this place. What a great place to meet! First of all, they are dog friendly which will always guarantee that you have my business. Second, when we came we were greeted with a wine and cheese reception, which buys my loyalty. Then we got to sit around the fire pit on a pretty sunny day, meeting people and snacking, while getting to see the stunning facilities. I'm a Hollywood TV producer by trade, so I could see shooting photos for actors portfolios here, making commercials, or if nothing else, having Zoom backgrounds that will make your co-workers envious. That fire pit area had beautiful swing chairs along with picnic table and different sitting areas for the hipster set to enjoy their craft beers or to have a nice outdoor conference. Right behind the fire pit on the lawn there. Are two geodesic domes- one with couches and coffee table that feels like a lounge. Even though the sun was out, the air was a little brisk, but you couldn't tell in those domes because it was warm and you could sunbathe in there. The other dome had a conference table and I could see my staff doing pitch meetings or just study group in that space and being refreshed by being surrounded by nature. We got to tour Lodge 1 and 9. The Lodges are guest suites that have two wings on opposite ends of a center area that includes your bathroom and kitchen space. Lodge 1 had a really cool outside sitting area right off the shower so if you want to air dry at naturel in the sun, you have all the privacy in the world to do that. the owner said that the floors are heated. It also has a living room with a swing chair overlooking the grassy field with the geodesic dome, so if you are aching to get your pics in there, you'll be first to know when they're empty by looking out your window. Lodge 9 is the same format, but it sleeps four people. They have a stash of board games in that room which is such a great idea. Right outside the room is another fire pit area and a grassy area where you can play outdoor games. The Lodges on Vashon is located so close to town, so you'll want for nothing here. The staff is really nice here and the girl who served us snacks was happy to answer questions and to give restaurant recommendations which I love because I'm all about food. We happened to show up on a day where we got a break from all of the rain, so we got to see what a gem this place is. Can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the rest of the island and you can bet we're making our reservations for this place.

Tiny home hamlet on the island! Converted 'shipping containers-like' into a tiny home village retreat. Walking in, the grounds are neatly kept in a natural setting with paved walkways. Our lodge ~ comfortable bedsheets, small kitchenette, and a lounge nook equipped with an acoustic guitar with broken guitar strings. Large shower was unexpected though the soap amenities need an quality upgrade. Each lodge was separated just enough for that extra privacy. The grounds ~ pup friendly, large field to frolick around. The pavilion was a nice moment to sit by the gas fireplace, relax in the hanging basket chairs. The domes were a bit moldy to lounge in. Gas grills & kitchen available to use for guests wanting to picnic. Check-in & checkout all done electronically with no front desk staff on property. The cleaning staff were not that willing to assist us with a few extra needs during our stay and kept referring us to contact management via phone. No restaurant or snack bar on site. A large grocery store is a minute drive for any supplies or evening munchies. But walkable to town restaurants and cafes with a local brewery literally next door ;) Pricey splurge ~ $400 per nite for a tranquil stay in a clean sanitized cabin aside from no pool or hot tub.

To get here from Seattle you have to take the Fauntleroy ferry to Vashon Island but we headed there pretty early in the morning and we had no problems getting onto the ferry with our car (On the way back from Vashon however, we saw a bunch of people heading to Vashon in the afternoon. The ferry line for vehicles was crazy backed up, so I would not recommend going too late!) After arriving at Vashon, it's about 20 or so minutes to the Lavender Hill Farm. This place is super cute! From what I could observe, it looks like a beautiful private residence with its own little giant farm attached. What made this place stand out from the rest is that there were so many varieties of lavender that I had never heard of before. They had some interns there, helping to pick lavender and make bouquets/wreaths who did a great job of educating us on the different types of smelling lavender and cooking lavender. They also had a bunch of premade lavender products. Personally, I always go for the little lavender bags and use them in my laundry -- they last forever, and they smelled great. They had these scented roller balls each with a different type of lavender, it smelled absolutely amazing. If I am remembering correctly, there were also lotions, balms, incense, even pre-cut cooking lavender, and I believe there was even lavender soda for sale. I was able to purchase everything easily using contactless pay. I believe I had a conversation with the owner of the farm (not 100% on that though) and she was quite lovely. This place is dog friendly as you can see from my pictures, however, they also have a farm dog of their own so just be mindful of that. If you love to Instagram, or taking pictures, this place is definitely for you -- and if you like lavender, of course, you should definitely come here! It seems like their season has already ended so I'm guessing it's open for a very short window in the early summer, but if you have the opportunity to go next summer, I would recommend it!
