    Freshly cut lavender

We had a great time on our visit to the Lavender Hill farm! It was a great family fun activity and was relaxing to cut the lavender outside while soak in the sun, views and take the aroma in! Our dog tagged along and he also enjoyed the exploration. We left with a few bunches of lavender and some items from the little store. Also enjoyed the owner, Catherine coming out to say hello. It was a nice touch and we got to learn mor about the lavender farm and how she got to Vashon. We would definitely recommend stopping by this little place if you can as it was enjoyed by all in our family!

We made a quick stop here and were glad we did. They served delicious lavender mint tea and the whole place smells amazing. They were almost out of goodies for sale so they must be good! Very friendly crew there. Worth a pit stop

I am so glad that I found this place! The owners were so kind and attentive! Beautiful little place that will make you wanna smile. We went on the last day and walked through the fields. From the moment you get there to the moment you leave you are received with a great welcome! They mark the parking for you, help you with arranging and cutting your own lavender. Free lavender lemonade that was super tasty! Cute little store selling soaps, lotions and oils. I fell in love!

The farm opens from mid June to first week of August. If you are looking for blueish Lavendar instead of purple one, you should be here in the first half part. Now everything is closed to the end and the lavender is purple, but still enjoyable. Will come back next year to get what we missed from this time. The owner described the farm as being more accessible for visitors who aren't able to make the trek out to Sequim. While Crescent Valley was one of the smaller lavender farms that I've been to, it was definitely the most personable. The owner himself gave us an informative tour around the farm and showed us the differences between lavender that is used for culinary and fragrance purposes. They also have a mini shop on-site with a variety of items, including soaps, lotions, shaving cream and more. The farm also makes beautiful hand-woven lavender wreathes starting at $40. If you're the more adventurous type however, Crescent Valley has u-pick lavender available at $7 a bundle. In comparison to other farms, I appreciated that all the rows were open to u-pick instead of just two or three rows. We got to mix-and-match from the rows and I went home with a generous bundle of fragrant and culinary lavender. Last but not least, they have an online parking ticket & reservation system in place due to COVID. Be sure to check their site first before heading over!

This isn't a fancy "farm" that's more of an amusement park (looking at you, Carpinitos). It's just a huge patch of blueberries! It's also a nice size to bring a little kid, you won't need to walk long distances. I recommend moving around because different areas of the patch have different blueberry types. We easily picked 7 lbs in about an hour and froze them for the future.
