Highly recommend you bring a better saw than what they lend you. One year we decided on a fat trunk tree. It took forever. Also recommend checking the width of the trunk prior lol. They have large machines to string them for easy transport. Free hot chocolate and mini candy canes. I sometimes wish they sold more Christmas items to browse, but they do have wreaths and mini trees for $15. Got one for the treehouse! It's adorable. On our way out we saw a family Christmas tailgating (had their hot cocoa, charcuterie and Mom with wine in hand) Love it! Great photo opportunities.

There was hot chocolate, coffee, and a huge bonfire to warm us up from the cold. Plus yummy treats to munch on. The Farm itself was gorgeous with a huge selection of trees. Found a huge tree for my mom and a smaller tree for myself. Then afterwards they bound the trees for us and help us load them onto the car. I cannot express enough how wonderfully welcoming and helpful everyone was! I feel like we made new friends. We will definitely be coming back next year.

This year I could see the inside of the trees looked dead.... I check every tree on the lot. I am very particular about my tree. They all looked dead inside. My only thought was, maybe we didn't have that much rain this year. No I do not believe that was the case. I believe these trees were cut long ago! The tree has no smell what so ever and when I brought it in to the house, it has not sucked up 1 ounce of water. It has been in my house for a week now and I have added no water to the stand! That is wrong and not the sign of a tree that was still fresh. I am soooo disappointed in Olmsted. I save all year so that I can buy a freshly cut tree that I can enjoy for my Christmas holiday.
