The property offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Hood Canal and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains in the distance. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the main hall provided an excellent space for our group activities. The landscaping is beautifully maintained and really enhances the natural beauty of the property. For the price point, this place offers excellent value--you really can't beat the combination of affordability and those stunning water and mountain views. Special shoutout to Lois, the landscaper, who was absolutely wonderful and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the grounds! If you're looking for an affordable retreat space with spectacular scenery and solid facilities, Sacred Waters is a great choice. The natural beauty of the location is truly unforgettable.

Bonus: Chef Traecy (spelling?) and crew have done their best to serve fresh, local food that accommodates all dietary needs. How does it taste so good? The scenery is incredible even right out the living room window. I have never been disappointed staying here. The hosts are AMAZING! The fridge is fully stocked with breakfast stuff and the pantry is full. Did I mention the hottub?? Sweet! It may be on the deck of the main house, but we always get privacy when we use it. They think of everything you need here and make you feel extremely welcome. I have been 3 times already (I know, slow on the review) and hope to be back very, very soon!

As you can see in the photo, each was about the size of a fifty-cent piece. So each cost around $20 and were not worth anything close to that. My miso sturgeon was only ok. Dry and without a hint of miso, it was disappointing. The best item was the side Brussels Sprouts. Crisp and tasty. So, the restaurant and resort are well located, and I'm sure the hotel rooms are nice. You just may want to eat elsewhere.

We had a campfire and harvested clams and oysters right off the beach, cooked them on the fire, and ate them. We harvested several the next night as well and made a great stew. With flash lights, we went up and down the beach finding starfish, crabs, some other type of starfish with ~13 limbs. On the afternoon four of us went to a nearby golf course and on our drive home (~15 minutes), we stopped to watch several seals sunning on a dock right by the road.
