Stunning Views and Perfect Retreat Setting…read more I recently stayed at Sacred Waters Retreat Center for a group weekend retreat, and the location is absolutely spectacular. The property offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Hood Canal and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains in the distance. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the main hall provided an excellent space for our group activities. The landscaping is beautifully maintained and really enhances the natural beauty of the property. For the price point, this place offers excellent value--you really can't beat the combination of affordability and those stunning water and mountain views. Special shoutout to Lois, the landscaper, who was absolutely wonderful and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the grounds! If you're looking for an affordable retreat space with spectacular scenery and solid facilities, Sacred Waters is a great choice. The natural beauty of the location is truly unforgettable.

Beautiful setting, completely updated 1920s log lodge, great vibe/ambience, and supportive (not smothering) staff. Bonus: Chef Traecy (spelling?) and crew have done their best to serve fresh, local food that accommodates all dietary needs. How does it taste so good? There are foods I have not enjoyed before, but under his capable cooking, I loved them.

It would be nice if they have air refresher. My aunty fell because the floor was too slippery and there was no bath mat. We're not going to come back and not recommended. I don't really want to complain because we got a good price compared to the original price that they posted. I would be so regret if we have to pay that full price because it's not worth it. They charged us 77$ additional cleaning fee even though their instructions were not clear. They also want to charge 15$/dozen of oysters that we took home even though it was not included on house rules. Plus we never get oysters on the day we were there because of high tide. They treated us as thief. Asked if we take their bbq tongs that they missing. We washed and put it in the dishwasher. They should of check first before asking like people are stilling their stuff.

I was impressed by how many fun things there were to do. The boat and paddle board rentals on sight were great to have, though we didn't have time to take advantage on this trip. I really enjoy a good classic a resort, but sometimes they are hard to find. The massage was amazing. She did such a wonderful job getting out knots and tight spots without hurting me. The only thing I wish there was is fresh coffee in the lobbies in the morning. I hate K cups, personally. They don't taste good and are bad for the environment. Plus making coffee in the room wakes my wife up and I like to let her sleep in. They have a coffee shop, but I wanted it in a mug. We ended up going to the restaurant for coffee and a fruit bowl which was perfect. I loved all the little spaces to hang out and enjoyed writing in the little workspace on our floor. The view and setting made it easy to feel productive and made my writing feel less boring than usual (I'm in school). The staff were all super sweet and thoughtful throughout. So happy that this magical place exists! Excited to return. Our favorite part was Brook the kitty. We are big fans of hers.

Although we were seated quickly and had a nice view of Hood Canal, the service and food have not improved. Our waiter was very bland and gave the impression that he wasn't all that interested in being there. My GF had the crab cakes. As you can see in the photo, each was about the size of a fifty-cent piece. So each cost around $20 and were not worth anything close to that. My miso sturgeon was only ok. Dry and without a hint of miso, it was disappointing. The best item was the side Brussels Sprouts. Crisp and tasty. So, the restaurant and resort are well located, and I'm sure the hotel rooms are nice. You just may want to eat elsewhere.

The home is exquisite, recently remodeled with gorgeously selected and appointed everything! The owners have spared nothing in appointing their home for comfort and environmental health and making all amenities available to guests: super clean everywhere, more than enough organic bed linens and towels, organic cleansers for hands, body, hair. Games, art supplies, books, magazine, DVDs, kayaks, floats, life jackets, and a fully equipped kitchen. All furniture and bed mattresses were super comfortable, super clean, and modern. The interior design in every room shows quality and high taste in finishings details. The owners provided more than sufficient information prior to check-in, and on the table inside there was a thick resource book covering all aspects related to the home, and to the surrounding community, including entertainment and activities near by in the area. You can tell the abundant love and generosity they poured into making this home an oasis for the soul and a perfect get away retreat from the hectic day to day. It sleeps 8-12 and is large enough for a gathering of family and friends which we so enjoyed. The home is situated on a bluff with a to-die-for view of the lake and mountains. The night time sky views are mesmerizing. They even provided a high quality set of binoculars. It is an easy walk down stairs or on a side path to Lake Cushman. Sitting on the dock at lakeside, or on the deck in Adirondack chairs up above, is simply gorgeous, quiet, relaxing and peaceful. It was really hard to leave on our last day....and we can't wait to come back.

This facility is perfectly located in the quiet quaint town of Hoodsport, WA. The house sleeps up to 21 guests with a garage for staging scuba gear & a rinse & drying room. There is ample parking. If you need groceries or scuba supplies, it's an easy 5 minute walk, or a 60 second drive. Beach access is simple and just across the street, but you need to be aware of cross-traffic, since it is on Highway 101. The diving is superb here & is maintained so that people cannot harvest sea life, so you're able to see all sorts of crab & fish. There are guide ropes out in the water to follow & checkpoints where you can see wrecked boats underwater. I highly recommend doing a night dive as you're able to witness the bio-luminescence when you agitate the water & it lights up like fire flies underwater. The only negative is that the wi-fi @ the Yellow House is spotty & you need to either be upstairs or on the main floor, or right next to the inside stairwell to get good reception.
