Pizza was good. Great value for solid pizza. We ordered a Large Barro's Special, subbed the ham for Italian sausage and added spinach for $22. Also ordered traditional wings (12 count) honey hot for $17. Disappointed because the wings were actually were pretty dry. Pizza was generous with toppings and cheese so nothing negative to say about the za! If you haven't had Barro's pizza, it's a must. The service was good. Ordered online and when I arrived to pick up, there were 2 people being helped at the counter and 2 other people in front of me. After the 2 people at the counter were done, and the next 2 stepped up, a 3rd associate called for the next customer (me) to a 3rd register to assist - IMO that's a well-staffed establishment with proper training/brand culture. This location recently took over the Village Inn that used to be there so the entire interior was renovated and I like it. Large open space for the ordering counter with a good amount of seating space for patrons that are waiting. The dining area was separated by a divider wall to the ordering counter space. The place looks nice and clean. Overall: 4 Stars - I had to drop a star due to the dry chicken wings. At premium pricing for wings, they have to be premium quality. The menu at this location is lacking. How are you not going to have the cookie dessert? Missing an entire kids menu?? This vibe in here is drab and unremarkable. Supposedly there's two different people who own barros and it shows. The wings came out with the thought of sauce, but not the action of sauce. They served hot pizza with no spatula. The spaghetti had the tiniest bit of spaghetti sauce basically just noodle. This is truly the worst barros that I have ever experienced. An embarrassment to all borros establishments. read more

Came here on a Saturday evening and there was a kids party so the place was loud and crowded as expected. Although our order was a bit delayed, the manager was frequently checking the dining area and informed us on the status of our order after noticing we were waiting for some time; he did this with other tables as well, which was much appreciated. We ordered two pizzas (Barro's Special, Chicken Supreme) and they were good. Toppings were spread evenly and the crust was fluffy - just needed it to be stuffed crust and it would have been perfect! The dining area was generally clean and the staff were all courteous. Menu pricing is reasonable. Not sure when we'll be visiting Peoria again, but we would definitely come back to dine here. read more

if it were not for how much we like their pizza, we would not be back. I'm not sure where their breakdown is, but they NEVER get our order correct when we call for pickup. How hard is it, thin and we'll done. Coffee baristas take complex coffee orders, yet asking for a thin and well done crust causes Barros phone staff some kind of mental break. Pizza is amazing. Service is top tier and they're all pretty much younger. I had the manager help a while back and he took care of me, Even staying later than closing. I have a house here in Peoria and CA and hands down I always will order from these guys and gals when I'm in town. ....... well unless the service changes. We love this Barro's location. We usually order pepperoni and veggie pizzas. The service is good. They seem friendly enough when we make our phone orders. We don't typically dine in, however, it looks clean but a little too dark for my liking. We order from here all the time. The pizza is always a perfect ratio of toppings, cheese, sauce and crust, and it's usually ready for pick up before their estimated wait time. We don't eat in the restaurant that often but when we have, it's always been comfortable seating with clean bathrooms, and great for the family or baseball team. Great daily atmosphere. Loud with lot's going on as soon as you walk in. Your kids will love it. Youthful wait staff and counter help. I bit chaotic and disorganized, but in a fun way. I ate at the restaurant and bit into a piece of buffalo chicken pizza. I chipped my tooth on a chicken bone. Told management and made a claim. Their insurance company who is Hanover Insurance, wouldn't reimburse me $75 to get the chipped tooth fixed. They said the restaurant wasn't negligent since I couldn't produce the bone I bit into. I really enjoy Barro's. Each time the food is tasty and the menu can be diverse (i.e.- gluten free crust, buffalo pizza, salad). I do think they are very overwhelmed being one of the few places that deliver in the area (I mean waaaaay out there homes get food from here). So I am thankful for the help on days when I can't leave the house. If you're in a crunch- plan ahead. But the food is great. Worth the wait most days! I placed an order for a pizza and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived to pick it up, the staff claimed they had no record of my order and implied I was mistaken. There was no apology or offer of a discount. I called the number I had used to place the order, confirming it was indeed the right place. This is the second time this has happened to me within a month. The restaurant is always overcrowded and understaffed, mostly with high school students lacking experience in the service industry.
