I asked the front desk of my hotel for some food to get nearby. They recommended a few big named restaurants but I wanted to order and come back to the room to relax. They did recommend this place, one of their favorite places to go. Glad she told me. I ordered over the phone and they recommended the wings. I should have ordered a small pizza because with the wings it was just too much for me to eat alone (not in my 20's anymore). When I picked up it looked busy. They had TV's play sports, seemed like a nice place to catch a game. Maybe another time I'll eat there. Pizza was delicious! Fluffy crust and the jalapeños were actually spicy (finally!!!). Order for carryout, or stay and eat. This Barro's location has a fill size dining room. Ordering is done at the counter. Dine in patrons are given a number. Orders are then brought to the table. A name is asked for to go orders. Pizzas are usually out relatively quickly. We usually order for either a late lunch or early dinner. Food is hot. I like that their buffalo sauce isn't super acidic. Along with common flavors such as Buffalo, bbq, lemon pepper, and teriyaki, they also have flavors such as mango habanero, chipotle raspberry, and sweet red chili. Wings are a decent size. Pizzas usually have a good amount of cheese and toppings. My children are fans of pineapple on pizza. They really like the Kona pizza. Rather than pizza sauce, the Kona has teriyaki sauce. This makes way more sense with the pineapple than tomato sauce. I am a fan of their vegetarian pizza. Vegetables are always fresh. Barro's pizzas have a nice chew to the crust. They also offer salads, dessert pizza, sandwiches, breads, mozzarella sticks, and pastas. Barro's gives back to the community. The girl working the cash register and who took our order was SO nice. She greeted us with a smile and even made some small talk. We ordered a salad, an XL pepperoni pizza, and an order of boneless wings. The pizza and wings came out super fast. We were confused as to why our salad hadn't come out yet so we went up to ask. To our surprise, we were supposed to stop by the salad bar first and get our salad there. This was new to me as at the other locations they bring it to your table. The food was really good. I was obsessed with the salad. The girl who put it together for us loaded it nicely. The salad tasted SOOO fresh and the lettuce had a nice crunch. The pizza was hot and the cheese was gooey. Place is good only for the pizza but location is dirty and they never have ice, we are all forced to drink the warm drinks coming out of the dispenser.
