I've had Tye out twice, once to replace a faulty Pentair Chlorinator and just recently to diagnose a Pentair heater issue. Both times Tye was super response, showed up exactly on time and most importantly he knew exactly what to do. His extensive knowledge of pool equipment is immediately apparent when you talk to him. We recently had some warranty work needed with the Pentair heater that we had installed. Barringer was NOT the original contractor but Barringer was called in to do the warranty work. Amidst all that is going on with COVID-19 Ty came out and problem solved, all while maintaining social distancing. Ty knows what he is doing; he is an obvious problem solver with a lot of competence. I need to write this amazing story how they saved my dog's life! It was their first service for our pool today, and Tye contacted me and told me that my dog got stung by a bee and was foaming and loosing consciousensss. He took my dog to Vet!!!, and saved her life. When I had problem with my jacuzzi heater, Tye fixed it in 15minites that other maintenance person could not fix it. I used Barringer pools earlier this year and the service / price was good. My primary pool pump started making noise so I called Barringer on Thursday. On Friday I followed up since my pump failed completely. I was asked to provide photos of the pump (which I did) and was told that they would get back to me. I didn't hear anything over the weekend or Monday so I called them again on Tuesday. I was told that they would look at the photos and get back to me. I decided to replace the pump myself (which is very simple to do) and cancelled my request for service. I recognize and appreciate the fact that COVID has significantly increased the need for pool repair / service however, in my opinion, it is no excuse for non-existent or poor communication. If you're too busy to accept a job then simply tell me and I'll find someone else but failing to communicate in a timely manner is extremely unprofessional. read more

I can't say enough good things about Barringer Pools and their service. I have been using them for about two years now after I remodeled my pool. Tye and his wife, Bridie, are always responsive when I have an issue, but really they are usually the ones to find the issue before I do and thankfully with their care the issues are few and far between. We were lucky to come across Tye through a search for a repair that needed to be taken care of urgently when our Pool Maintenance Person at the time was unable to help us out. Despite not having been a client of his at the time, Tye came over right away and immediately solved our issue. From that moment, we switched over to his pool maintenance service and it was the best decision we ever made. Tye got our pool from looking green to having perfect PH balance. He also replaced a pool light that we were told (prior to Tye) that we'd have to empty the pool in order to do so (emptying the pool was not necessary).
