And I usually end with one (or more) of their IPA's; DIPA, TIPA, etc... And once in a while we still get food, lol. I am starting to bring all our guests and out of state visitors here to end our nights. Ambiance - Still a beautiful place to see and visit. Open 7 days a week from 9am or 11am to 9pm or 10pm. See Yelp or their website. And they have/sell propane... 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. Plenty of parking when I come. Events - See pictures or their website. Service - 90% of the time, good. But there are always those off days with lower service, that I try to ignore as I understand we are all human. Price - Reasonably priced for the quality of beer. $8-9 a beer + tip. They have a ton of rotating taps, some with things I've never seen on tap anywhere else. They also have a great selection of bottles and cans that you can take to go or drink in house. After a long day and the start to my weekend, I came in for a beer and joked with the bartender for the boot - which they actually do have! While the kitchen is closed (which is a shame since the food was true traditional German cuisine), they still have a full bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating shared with R Town Pizza, and with such nice weather and table settings, it makes for the perfect late afternoon spot. March 29th is the last day to enjoy your last pint of German beer... or boot of it...

A unique to me potato salad because it wasn't mayo based. It was delicious. The schnitzel was also good it came with lemon slices, that gave it a fresh element. We found out they are closing at the end of the month which is disappointing, but future endeavors are in the works. Go if you can you only have a few more weeks to enjoy some great German food!

One thing to know is they do not serve food at this location (they have two locations), but apparently you can bring in takeout from somewhere else. The crowd seems to skew on the older side (40's and up) but it did not feel like they were catering to any particular age group. Overall, Whispering Vine feels more like a neighborhood hangout than a typical wine bar. Good wine, lots of drink options, plenty of space, and a relaxed atmosphere.
