I have lost 30lbs on my weight loss journey and Purenergy has been a huge part of that! For less than the cost of that massive gym in King of Prussia and way more variety than the "Citrus Concept" down the street, you can enjoy similar class offerings, free babysitting 8:30a-12pm Monday to Friday, and twice the ambiance! I find myself in Yoga a few days a week - the studio is beautiful and the mild heat is welcome in these bitterly cold winter months! I recommend Kristy's Wall class for a great deep stretch and Sarah's Power Flow for the ultimate mind/body stress relief! As part of my New Years Resolution, I am trying more of the fitness classes here, and thus far have taken Lisa's Tabata and Michelle's Burn class - both high-intensity interval training guaranteed to ramp up your energy! You'll also find pilates, barre, aerial, spinning, and martial arts classes here - ensuring you'll never get stuck in a rut! I'd personally love to see more Pilates or core based classes in the evening, but realize that has everything to do with instructor availability and member interest! :) Beyond the class offerings at Purenergy you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, clean locker rooms, and fresh towels for the sweat you're guaranteed to break! Drop in for a class - you'll be a member before you know it!

Last year when I heard that the oh-so-awesome megaformer workout was coming to the main line via…read morethis new studio named Plank, I signed up right away! And then I was hooked. The workout was incredible and gave me more strength and definition (in 3 classes/week) than barre classes ever did (in 5-6 classes/week). And it was a perfect compliment to my first half-marathon training. Megaformer classes gave me a lot of strength and power when running and that extra strength even helped take the pressure off my back, allowing me to run 13 miles without back pain (vs. the pain I had when training for a 5 mile race a few years ago before I was in megaformer shape). Hilary and her instructors are all welcoming and personable and I really recommend the studio and the workout to anyone in the area. There is nothing else close to megaformer in my opinion. A really intense and effective workout!

I called the studio to cancel and the front desk answered with "hello," then hung up while I was in the middle of speaking. When I called back and explained that I had just been on the line, I was told there was "no reason to be unkind," even though I was simply explaining what had happened and repeating my request. When I asked how to cancel my HOTWORX membership, I was told it had to be done online or in person, but no instructions or link were provided when I asked where to go online. Questions about when management would be available also weren't clearly answered. After being a paying member for over a year and a half, the front desk interaction felt cold, rude, and dismissive. Because of the customer service alone, I cancelled my membership and will not reconsider returning. I have also reached out to management directly regarding this experience. Unfortunately, based on how this situation was handled, I would not recommend this HOTWORX location.

My only feedback is that they need to have better yoga and cycling teachers. This means that the teachers should be engaging and supporting; at the very least, smiling at each member and making them feel like they belong in the class. We need the instructors to improve and be more engaging. Like previous Life Time Wayne yoga teachers: Caitlin and Amy. Also, the music can be too loud in the workout floors and in the locker rooms at night. Everyone has earbuds in anyways, so why blast the music?? Looking forward to the improvements.

Nice Equipment 2. Generally nice floor staff 3. Pretty clean 4. Good class selection. The not so good: 1. It is SO expensive and they keep increasing the price, even on existing members. There are also certain things that I assumed were included in the exorbitant membership only to find that they had exorbitant fees of their own. For example: I was wrong to think I could bring a guest to the pool, that would be an additional $50. Unless you use it daily and make use of the amenities (which I did for most of my time) it is very hard to justify. 2. I was initially really excited to belong to Lifetime but had some interactions with staff that left a really bad taste in my mouth. For example: I invited a friend to join me in my workout and was confronted and told training people was not allowed when I demonstrated how to do an exercise. The confrontation was hostile enough that my friend said outright that he would not consider joining the gym to work out with me. 3. It has become very overcrowded to the point that during peak hours it is hard to get floor space, which is a reality for a lot of gyms but still worth noting. For people that really want to workout, you can expect to change your workout to account for a lack of equipment availability. On occasion the only version of a machine has been out of operation for months at a time. 4. There are a lot of ways that the gym feels corporate and focused on a mission of making the most money possible at the expense of member's experience. The 30 day cancellation policy is a final example of opportunistically gouging you because they can rather than just letting you go before the next billing period. In hindsight I regret giving roughly $3800 to Globo Gym when I have had better experiences elsewhere for so much less. I really would not have bothered to write this if they would just let me go but the last ~$180 (prorated) monthly fee is worth it for them. You will meet some nice people at this gym but that is in spite of not because of LifeTime.

Front desk and instructor were super…read morefriendly and accommodating especially with me arriving almost 10 minutes late (I called ahead to let them know to check ahead of time and they picked up right away). The "classic" class was challenging but low impact and with me being out of shape I felt supported by the attention I got from the instructor and free to make adjustments for myself. The class members were also friendly and I felt welcome. I would definitely come back for another class when I'm in the area.
