Went to Vibe over 2 years ago to support my sister teaching a class and was blown away by the community. I felt at home instantly there and it continues to be like a second home; everyone who walks through that door is welcomed as a family member every single time. I was actually just saying the other day how I have never seen a community quite like this. The level of community involvement is unparalleled and everyone truly and genuinely wants to see each other succeed.
The owners and staff work tirelessly to make sure members are informed and included, keeping the community uplifted and engaged with fun content, photos, positive and inspirational ideas, birthday wishes and congratulations. These are real, genuine, kind people who want to elevate the community and empower others, and they go to great lengths to do so.
This past year especially, they have adapted gracefully and seemingly effortlessly (through a ton of behind the scenes work!) to every curve thrown at them. They made a quick transition to virtual classes when everything was shut down, initially teaching live classes from their homes during quarantine; then they quickly adapted to in-person teaching with masks and a strict safety protocol once they were able to open up again, all while maintaining the online option for anyone not comfortable working out publicly. They brought in medical-grade air purifiers and they thoroughly disinfect the studio space and all equipment after every class. It's the only public place I have frequented comfortably since the beginning of the pandemic because the sense of social responsibility among the community is so strong.
Just want to address the vaccine issue because I just saw a review on here that is simply untrue and libelous, and these types of reviews can be so damaging if taken seriously. This facility has adhered to CDC/public health guidelines the entire duration of the pandemic and continues to do so. When mask mandates were first lifted for fully vaccinated individuals, Vibe offered the option to show proof of vaccination for those who wanted to take their masks off during classes. This was never obligatory; everyone had the option to decline this and continue masking during class. An unvaccinated prospective client showed up, refused to show proof of vaccination and still insisted on taking class without a mask, at which point she was told that she could not do so, for the safety of every other member. She was apologetically offered a refund, to which she responded with anger and harassing the staff. Vibe's first priority has always been the well-being of its members, and they are always thinking of the community as a whole, so I would hate to see one person's personal vendetta tarnish their reputation. Again, this is why this has been the ONLY public place I have felt comfortable going to for the last year and a half; their commitment to the community and preserving the health, safety and comfort of its members remains steadfast even in the face of harsh and unwarranted criticism.
There was already an extensive catalog of class options available pre-Covid, but now that Vibe has expanded to virtual classes, they have maintained that as an option, so now members can access a huge library of content on-demand and still stay involved with live classes even if they are not able to physically be in the studio.
These people have changed my life for the better and continue to inspire me every day. If you're looking for drama, this is NOT the place, but if you're looking for positivity, fun, the best workouts you'll ever have, and a renewed sense of self-worth and hope for humanity, then welcome home...this is your tribe! read more
