I had been recovering from a herniated disc that also led to the discovery of mild scoliosis, which is not abnormal for older women, in particular. I took all of these issues to LSF and was rewarded with excellent knowledge and experience helping others like myself work back to a strong, flexible body. While I don't always love it, every instructor has been on me for positioning and form, which is key to not getting reinjured. As a pilates newbie, it's been helpful and I do not exaggerate when I say that I have been mostly pain-free since starting. My only struggle is with signing up for classes. Because they fill up very quickly, it is hard to budget because you need to sign up for a lot of classes in advance, which means you have to pay for a lot of classes at once. (They're certainly worth it and priced fairly.) I have had success with the waiting list, however, and there was only one time I did not get into the class. The silver lining of all this is that clearly people think highly of the classes/instructors and want to get in! I also appreciate that the owner/staff "hear" clients and try to make class policy changes that are sensible and not just penal. It's not easy running a small fitness business, so just them being there as a resource is terrific. They play great music, everyone is super friendly and down-to-earth, and the studio is cute. Thrilled to be an LSF'r and look forward to a pain-free spring and summer unlike last year! Thanks, LSF!

The Exton, Frazier, and west whiteland studios have been sold to a venture capital company. Since…read morethe sale, the policies have been changed to the detriment of the members. They now require 50 flow 1.5 classes to move up to level 2 regardless of previous experience or ability. The manager has said that this is a "Club Pilates" policy but that's just not true (check other Club Pilates franchises). She also said that there is a "work around" but they won't let the members know what it entails. No other Pilates classes ( suspend, cardio, control) will count to the total. if you are in shape and skilled, this may not be the franchise for you. In addition there has been high turnover of experienced instructors leading to canceled classes; some of the subs are not great. That being said, in general the instructors that have stayed are really good. The studios are clean and the equipment is in good condition.

I had never done Bikram before and am now addicted. My back and neck pain was fully gone by the second day of practicing and my body just feels so strong and healthy.
