They have Sunday morning meditation! Drop in! So I donned my baggy sweats, put on my most comfortable tie-dye shirt and headed down there to check it out, slightly nervous about the whole yoga-nut crowd. Hummingbird is lovely, a comfortable, serene space and Linda is as down to earth as it gets. She is not perfect, and she is one with her not perfectness, and she is happy to have you on the journey with her. Meditation with her is peaceful and enriching. I called the studio to cancel and the front desk answered with "hello," then hung up while I was in the middle of speaking. When I called back and explained that I had just been on the line, I was told there was "no reason to be unkind," even though I was simply explaining what had happened and repeating my request. When I asked how to cancel my HOTWORX membership, I was told it had to be done online or in person, but no instructions or link were provided when I asked where to go online. Questions about when management would be available also weren't clearly answered. After being a paying member for over a year and a half, the front desk interaction felt cold, rude, and dismissive. Because of the customer service alone, I cancelled my membership and will not reconsider returning. I have also reached out to management directly regarding this experience. Unfortunately, based on how this situation was handled, I would not recommend this HOTWORX location.
