While uniforms are generally authorized for commuting or brief necessary stops, many service members avoid wearing them during personal outings such as family dinners, especially when off duty. I believe military discounts should be extended to active duty members and veterans who can provide valid identification, regardless of whether they're wearing a uniform. Service doesn't stop when the uniform comes off. That said, the food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and we had a wonderful experience overall. We'd definitely come back.
