Totally different experience this time. Whenever I try a new entree I have a lot of questions and the cashier, Ariana, was patient, helpful and extremely polite. Which is a huge change from previous cashiers who would appear to be bothered by questions. The gentleman who is working expo, Ulysses, was helpful and very polite. My daughter had the Jaiba Tostadas, which was pretty good, she was happy with it. My wife had the fish tacos, we've only ever had that here and they were consistent in taste. I tried the Surf n Turf, which I have never had before, and it did not disappoint. I got the Asada, grilled shrimp, rice and beans and I loved every bite! I would definitely eat this again, however, I may try the Baja style next time. It is spacious and the music isn't loud, we would have eaten there but we had planned to eat at home. I just stopped there yesterday and I bought extra tostadas, I get home and there were no extra tostadas in my order. Please check your orders before leaving. It's the servers job to include everything on the order, so what is the excuse? This is considered theft of the consumer by the business. I understand it can be tough but businesses like this one make it harder. Just stay home, that's my advice if you want this type of foods, cook it you're self it will be way affordable than paying for bad service. It's getting worse every year that passes. read more

Not pictured is hubby's carne asada burrito. It was really tasty and served along with a yellow wax pepper sprinkled with lemon pepper. Our little one had the quesadilla with side of sour cream. I really enjoyed the beer battered Baja fish taco. It brought me back to when I had the best fish and chips at Walt Disney World's Epcot. The shrimp taco was juicy and also seasoned well. I like that the protein portions are big, and it's balanced well with the shredded cabbage / pico de gallo. If I had known then, I would have ordered extra yellow peppers! They are mild in spiciness level but some of them get a bit spicy towards the stem. The restrooms require a passcode. If you ask the cashier they'll give it to you. Overall, very clean, well-run establishment. The variety of items are on point and quite affordable. I want to try everything but know I will always end up adding the fish taco too. I'm glad to know the multiple locations across IE, with the Riverside one being closer to me. I recently learned they have a food truck parked on E Hospitality Lane for Tues/Fri afternoons from 10am-2pm, too! Big fan and will be sharing / telling all my friends to try them out! read more

I'm disappointed to have to post this, but I am still waiting for a response from management regarding a recent $100 order that had to be canceled. I ordered four burritos and a tray of ceviche, but the experience went south over a request for extra salsa. While other customers were using the squeeze bottles freely, the staff member I dealt with insisted on charging extra for small containers for a large order. It felt incredibly inconsistent and poor for customer service. I ended up getting a full refund and leaving empty-handed because of the interaction. I have the receipt and the name of the employee involved, but my attempts to reach out privately have gone ignored. This food is absolutely fabulous. As someone who doesn't identify as a Latina I'm not sure of i can make this statement but the authentic taste made me want more. As a non meat eater I had the photo tacos with beans and rice. I ate them beans so fast I didn't get to take a picture. Lol. The service was top teir. I placed my order over the phone as I was pulling up, by the time I parked and waiting my turn in line, my order was done. And the vibe!!!!! Arrived 30 minutes before closing, the cashier was not rude but not the nicest lol The girl who handed me my order was really sweet and made some conversation. I love this place I usually go to the mission grove location closer to Riverside but I was lucky I seen once in the area after leaving my in laws. The place was quite empty only about 3 other customers due to it being close to closing. It was very clean inside and a chill ambiance with some music. I always order the fish tacos because they are the bomb! I love mine grilled and this place never disappoints. A bit of a mixed bag here, for me. Unsure why but I am not really a fan of most of the food here. The tables are nice and clean, service is solid, restaurant is often clean. So.. what brings me back? I seriously love these fish tacos. They are crispy with all of the usual toppings. What more can I see? Like fish tacos? Buy fish tacos. If I had to be honest with myself, if these tacos were cheaper, closer to my house, and fewer calories, I would probably break into my neighbor's house, steal most of their stuff, sell it on ebay, and buy fish tacos for a long time. This place came up on my feed and the pictures made the food look delicious! We've never eaten here, but my husband and I decided to place an order online for pick up. I paid online as well. We ordered a burrito al pastor, a shrimp ceviche tostada, 2 potato tacos, 1 fish taco and 3 carne asada street tacos. The cost was a little over $31. The potato tacos were simple but hit the spot! They had a cream sauce and cheese drizzle with a grilled pepper. This reminded me of tacos my mom used to make when I was younger! The burrito was the bomb! It was flavorful and filling, but not too big... just right. The fish taco was yummy with a grilled pepper and the shrimp ceviche with tostadas on the side was amazing! The carne asada street tacos left a bit to be desired. The meat was a bit dry even with the green salsa. The tortillas were hard and didn't appear to be cooked through. They were also bigger than the smaller street tacos I'm used to. Not a bad thing, of course, but I was slightly disappointed. I'm willing to give the street tacos another try, though :) When I went in La Bufadora the young man behind the counter helped me right away. He brought my order out, I opened and checked it to make sure it was correct and then quickly left. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was ready when it said it would be and I was in and out.
