Since then I have had him come out to the house at least 2 times a year to clean the windows and screens, and this year powerwashed the outside (which was totally worth it). When he arrived, his exact words to me was"it is not worth the $25 dollars " and told me that I can call for a refund, as he is walking away. Following him I said that there wasn't any criteria mentioned in the ad, and his response "I am telling you now" Tries to come off professional, but is not!!! Called the number and was told by a guy named Terry to complete their quote request online, and I did. A couple of days later, I called the number after I have not heard of a response. Terry took my appointment request over the phone and confirmed it with an email to me. I even asked if he was sure since it was a holiday (Presidents' Day), and he said that he's OK with that schedule. He said that he/they would arrive at our place between 8:30 - 9:30 am. HE/THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. I tried to call a few times after 10 am to find out what's happening and nobody answered the phone; it's voicemail was not also set-up according to the message. Did not hear from them all until the following morning when Terry left a voicemail saying I could re-schedule as if he/they did not waste my time waiting for nothing and without even apologizing for what he/they did (actually, for what they didn't do which was to show up) yesterday. I found Barr on Living Social -- I bought a window cleaning voucher but after speaking with Terry on the phone, asked him to power wash the house too. He and his crew arrived on time, in uniform, and went right to work. The house has not looked this good ever. They washed the windows inside and out and the screens. The interior washer wore protective footwear inside the house and was very careful around the furniture. I will have Terry and his crew back at least once a year to keep my house and windows looking good. read more

I had an appointment for last week with them. We waited for 2 hours and they never showed up or called. I called and got the rambling apology and rescheduled to today. Well, today and came and went and they never showed up again and never called. Living social deal or not, this is not how you treat your customers. Asking for a refund from living social. read more

He refused to do the Windows because the house is old and the windows need repair. I just wanted the Windows and screens washed not a remodel. He also wouldn't do them because there were bushes in front of some of them. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. read more

I never write reviews but Terry and Barr Window Cleaning are so awesome I had to let everyone know. Terry and his son came to my house on a Sunday to give me an estimate. His prices are fair and his work is perfect. He was on time and always so professional and nice. Because I was not home when Terry did the initial work, there was one screen he could not clean - Terry came back another day and was happy to clean the screen he couldn't reach. Of course it poured a few days after my windows were finally sparkling, and Terry agreed to come back and "touch-up" for a nominal fee. This time mr Barr and his son made the date- still late but kept me posted on their arrival. Their work was surprisingly quick and actually very good. They just wash with ionized water and let the Windows dry, no squeegees so no streaks! read more

I am writing this update to the last review I wrote. After I posted that review, Terry made several attempts to make it up to me including dropping by the house to see if I was home and he might be able to do the windows. I decided to give his company another chance because I could see what an effort he was making to correct the issue. They came this morning and cleaned all of the windows and screens. It looks beautiful. He was very nice and very apologetic. Thank you Terry for working to make up for the initial issues. I am giving three stars due to the initial hassle, but am currently satisfied with the work. read more
