I've been looking for one of those in St Louis since I moved here a few years ago, so it was so great to see so many women there. The only problem was the bartender, really. He was clearly inebriated and couldn't handle drink orders. Like my friend ordered a vodka soda with a splash of redbull and he had to be walked through it, it was crazy. Maybe he was new? I'll be back though.

It was an excellent mix of diverse individuals. There were multiple M/F couples, senior citizens, Bachelorette Party and of course many members of the LGBTQ community. I even saw my waitress from the restaurant, when she got off work. The bartenders were hustling making sure everyone had a cocktail, as they enjoyed the pageant. Two of the bartenders I knew from other establishments in the community, but they work at B&S now, because we all know gays are good tippers. Don't judge Bubby & Sissy's for being a bar supporting the LGBTQ community. Just think of it as a dive bar supporting the local community. I've seen wild deer out on their patio. When I stopped by the other day, the staff and other patrons were very welcoming and friendly. I stopped by for a quick cocktail before attending an event at another local small business. Rehab impressed me with their friendly customer service. I was also pleased to see that they had outlets and hooks under their bar. That's a small detail that always impresses me. The restrooms are gender neutral. They've even have a sign proudly announcing, "This restroom may be used by any person regardless of gender identity or expression." In addition to that sign, they also have another asking, "One Per Stall". You can share a restroom, just not the stall. The music playing was true party music, giving the bar a positive vibe. I also noticed they had a kitchen. I didn't eat anything, but it's good to have munchies available when you are dancing and drinking the night away. Now that I've been to Rehab, this is one Rehab I will not mind repeating time and time again.

I still haven't figured out what's in there but dang it's good! The meats can be served as a meal with a 1/2 of your choice of meat and two sides. The sides are absolutely stellar . Mac and cheese, pit beans, slaw, potato salad etc. My go to is the Brussels sprouts and the hand cut fries. They offer traditional sandwiches that include one side. Feeling like something out of this world? Try one of the Stellar Sandwiches. Can't decide from the long list of options? Have the team give you a recommendation. We ordered at the bar, both my friend and I ordering the OG Brisket Sandwiches, mine with Coleslaw and my friend's with fries. No sooner did we sit down did our food come, and WOW, the sandwiches were huge with a pile of perfectly cooked melt in your mouth Brisket. I'm hard pressed to remember any better. The coleslaw was, well, different and hard to explain, but had a tangy mustard kind of taste. The fries on my buddy's plate were fantastic as well. The owner checked on us several times, and obviously valued us as customers. BBQ is huge in St. Louis and the big places and chains get all the attention. I do wish there was more pork to the sandwich because the cheesiness of it was a little overwhelming but the kale and peppers perfectly compliment the fatty of the pork and the richness of the cheese.
