From occasional piano bar to karaoke. This is probably hands down one of my top 3 favorite bars when it comes to having a consistent tasting cocktail. We had several shots that night and surprisingly they had pizza! So, we ordered a sausage pizza as well. The bartenders are amazing there and I always have a great experience!

The bartenders were helpful and I appreciated how they had a specific spot to stand if you wanted to place an order. Genius! They had live music when we got there and it was quite loud so it was hard to talk to people at our table, but we managed. They had some bar games that some people were playing and the atmosphere was just right for a chill Friday night. Some of my friends were hungry so they ordered a pizza which looked good. It was typical bar food so they said it was just okay, but since they were hungry, it was enjoyed! They have some seating outside, but it was too cold to be out there. But I can see this being a fun spot in warmer weather! Bathrooms were clean which was impressive for a Friday night.

How thoughtful! Can't wait to get this again. 5) Spumoni 8/10 - Tasted great, just served in such a small dish, it made it difficult to eat at first and was melting over the sides of the bowl right at the start. Couldn't dig the spoon in easily for fear of it pushing right out of the bowl. 6) Lemoncello Cake - Perfect for someone like me who loves lemon cake. Not overly sweet - just right. Serving size was perfect for an individual. 7) Chocolate Cake - Perfect serving size for one, my friend had this, so I'll definitely try it next time. This was our first visit. We have now downloaded the restaurant's mobile app and plan on placing future takeout and delivery orders as well.

There is a free parking lot and a huge patio that, unfortunately I think, faces the highway. There are a few businesses around it but it feels rather industrial. The location is convenient to Forest Park, the Medical Center and South City via Kingshighway or Hampton. Plenty of seating both inside and on the patio. It was extremely hot outside so we were seated inside, in the "Garden Room." This room has lots of windows (no garden) and got extremely hot during the stay. I guess the AC couldn't keep up with us. This is a brewery so they have lots of beer options. I can't speak to the quality of the beer. Since I have Celiac Disease, I checked ahead of time and made sure that I saw lots of wine on their drink menu as well. Since it was 4PM when I arrived, I asked about any happy hour specials. Sadly, they told me there were only beer happy hour specials, no wine specials. I ordered a glass of white wine from their menu and got what I thought was a small pour of an only so-so glass for the price. I did like that you order your drinks in a separate line, and you can pay as you go like I did or start a tab. This is great for a large group like ours. You can also order food and have it delivered to your table. While this is a large venue in a convenient location, it did not feel very special.

I particularly like how the menu has illustrations of the cocktails so you know how they are served. Plus everything is seasonal! For food, I give it a 4/5. The appetizers, including the cauliflower, onion rings, and poutine are excellent but the entree menu is limited to mostly sandwiches and I've found the entrees just ok-to-good for the price. I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends

The high chair for our baby accomodationed these tables and the staff welcomed us in nicely. We really appreciated a nice restaurant welcoming in A: kids B: us after a Zoo day. We loved how they had the garage door open for the air to come in on the nice day. The bar / high top are had plenty of space and was very comfortable. They had a great happy hour around 3pm, both our appetizers were on the happy hour menu, as well as our Pinot Grigio drinks. The food was excellent, we had focaccia bread, and fried calamaris. We didn't have them but the wagu sliders and chicken lollipops both were popular at the other table. We also got a white chocolate tiramisu to go that was fantastic. Great bread = Great dessert Really appreciated our waitress / bartender that day, she said she had four grown kids of her own, as well as appreciated the rest of the staff. Thank you for a great meal and service! See you again soon

The appetizers, artichokes, zucchini fries and Burratta were amazing and the whole party enjoyed them. This was a birthday dinner for me so I was excited when I got there (my former review was about our amazing lunch there so I expected so much more). My mother ordered the pork chop which she enjoyed, she said it wasn't special but it was a good pork chop. My brother ordered the crab enchiladas which he hated. He did admit that it could be a taste thing as he expected sauce and there was bone, just cheese and noodles and crab and not enough cheese. My daughter and I both ordered filet and lobster with scalloped potatoes. I overlooked that it was served with sauce, which had it been flavorful sauce would have been okay but it was as if they took milk... just milk and poured it over each plate. The steaks were not medium as expected... more like a medium well and the lobster... well it is weirdly shredded partially with a bit left in the tail... my daughter complained hers was chewy and mine was ungodly nasty fishy. I even gave my daughter a piece of mine which she said tasted nothing like hers and she couldn't even swallow it. I am not a person to eat a significant portion of a meal and complain so we just ate what we wanted but it didn't take a lot to eat a significant portion because there wasn't much there. For 75 a plate I expected at least quality food and what I received was not quality food. The potato was not bad to me but everything on the table was served tepid and not at all hot. However there were some things warmer than others... my steak was warm, my daughters was cold, her lobster was warm and mine was not. The pork chop was just tepid and the potatoes were just cold. The same went with appetizers, fried artichokes were cold but zucchini was so hot I burned my mouth.... It was much busier when we went last night than when we went for dinner and i left feeling as if they either need more cooks or one that can handle a busy restaurant because the food was just not good. A big disappointment as it was my birthday dinner and one I had really looked forward to. If I were to go back it would be for the lobster roll which was the amazing lunch I had some time back or for an appetizer and a drink and that simply because the staff really are great and the little store out front so cute and J love Italian Grocers... If you go here I recommend asking questions and taking a look at reviews of what you would like to order. Again, I recognize everyone has different tastes and this review speaks to my thoughts on the food last night not on the restaurant as a whole which I feel tries very hard to be a good experience for customers.
