Granted, I was there about 3+ years back, but I feel compelled to report on my experience…read morenonetheless. I went in to find an extension hose for a kitchen faucet my Dad and I were installing in my home. Customer service is non-existent. The sole reason for going there, was previous positive experiences of my Dad's along with our wanting to get some extra TLC from a smaller, local shop. Not only was the guy indifferent, we ended up feeling we didn't know what we were asking for or whether what we needed even existed. We ended up going to Lowe's. We asked someone for help and she knew immediately what we needed, led the way, and handed it right to us. We were in and out in minutes; plus felt so relieved we could complete our project. Not sure about my Dad, but I've not been back their since. We often speak (and actually laugh) about the experience there. So, guess something did come out of it: a good laugh!

Update! Make that four out of four times. Good grief…read more ************** If the place is ever open during business hours, and I therefore get to go inside it rather than gazing longingly thru the window, I'll perhaps up the stars. After all, it looks awesome from the outside. But three times over the same long weekend I tried to come here, and three times, though we were well inside of business hourlace was locked up tight. On the last of those occasions we arrived an hour before close, and decided to call the number posted by the door this time. "Sorry, I just left a few minutes ago," she told my husband. Seriously?? I don't even see the point of not staying the last hour. Admittedly, I'm not a business owner, but that doesn't seem to be a sound business practice.

I am happy with my purchase. I'm upgrading from one star to three. It could have been a four or five with communication, if it couldn't have been delivered within the initial five day window. I am hoping to update this review with a more positive one. We will see. I put a beautiful piece on layaway and paid the balance in full over a week ago. The owner offered to deliver the piece when I told her we were going to have to rent a uhaul truck to pick it up. I was happy at the prospect of giving my money to a small business owner as opposed to a national company. It has been over a week, no phone call, and no delivery. When I called her number, she answered with "Hello?", which I thought odd. Then when I asked about the delivery, she said she had been sick and promised to deliver the piece by TODAY. Of course, I don't have the $500 piece of furniture I PAID for, and I am going to demand a refund tomorrow. This lady doesn't know anything about good business or how to treat a customer. How she handles herself tomorrow will determine whether or not this review changes.
