I did not realize that they closed at 4:00 p.m. which was the time I arrived there. One of the ladies still wrote up a work order for what I needed. My contractor spoke very highly of Pat's doors. We purchased a custom bifold door for our laundry room in our kitchen remodel. One week after he installed it the wood in the door split where it hangs in the track. I do not leave low reviews for businesses unless it has first been addressed with them. In this case the contractor went by the store and he said they told him it is not under warranty. It may be very rare to experience an issue with their product, but I am honestly surprised a local family owned business does not stand behind their product once it leaves the store on the occasion that there is a problem. read more

So far it's been a positive experience. My doors are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow so I haven't seen them yet. Pricing is great. Daniel, and Marty were very helpful, and professional which made the experience that much more positive. The reason I left a star off was because of the help I initially received when first calling. I don't remember the name of the woman I initially spoke with, but I spoke with the same person again a couple of days ago, and whomever she was wasn't very professional, and a little rude. At first when asked for the rough opening of my doors I wasn't sure what the measurement was, as I am new to this process as a first time home buyer so I informed the associate that I would figure it out and call back, when I did call back I spoke with another employee who was very kind and informed me that they had someone who could come out and measure for free. Why I wasn't given this information from the start I can't tell you. When returning a missed call from the company the other day, not the initial person who answered the phone but the individual that then assisted me whomever it was that transferred me to Daniel (as they did not give their name when asking if I had been helped) was again somewhat rude and cut me off mid sentence. Other than this one individual the staff is very professional and the experience has been very positive. I had called a couple of times, including when I paid for my doors and the majority of the staff minus this one individual is very helpful and kind. It's a shame, we just recommended this company to my wife's supervisor who must have spoken with this same person, and because of the service she received decided to go with home-depot instead. Despite the experience my wife's supervisor experienced, we will both still continue to recommend this company, considering as mentioned numerous times the rest of the staff and pricing are great. I do not recommend going with Home Depot or Lowe's, the lack of communication and pricing with them is terrible. With this company your doors are sized and custom to your specific needs. read more

This is the place for really good quality doors at the very best prices. We did a whole house with knotty alder, 2-panel doors. That big order was perfect and we there was only one reject slab- it had a thin crack- and it was promptly replaced. People at the store were efficient and good to work with if you know what you want and aren't just shopping around. The delivery was fine and on-time. On 2 sets of exterior French doors, they cut the price from a major national hardware chain store by about 75%. They're not high-falutin clad wood but are absolutely beautiful, work perfectly, and the woodwork is beautiful. I have used Pat's Doors a few times and I am happy each time. We have had to replace doors a few times, due to one having a cat door in it and needing a door with no cat door, and then more recently due to someone kicking it in during a burglary. So, because in both cases the frame was fine, we were able to take the old door in and have Pat's drill the doorknob, lock, and hinges to match exactly our old door. Let me tell you this is a huge savings to buying a whole new door with frame. Plus, then my cutie pie can hang it alone. read more

Based off first impression, which unfortunately was my initial phone call, I wouldn't do business with this company. I called inquiring about a door and the receptionist A: told me it didn't exist ( which it very much does ) and B: didn't even try to offer me the option of special ordering or custom building. I had to overly probe her for all the information I needed and the options I had. As first point of contact, her job is to educate and inform customers so that they want to take the next step and give the company she works for their business. She did neither. Superb service and unexpected craftsmanship. Pat's Doors fabricated a wooden threshold from a rotted threshold that I brought in from a Jen's Door model. The threshold had several compound cuts and the carpenter duplicated the angles and cuts precisely. When I put in the threshold, it fit perfectly. Pat's carpenter is outstanding and the service attendant was most helpful. When she told me that they had no stock items similar, I anticipated that she would say that Pat's could not help me. I ordered my door through them and the transaction wasn't as smooth as I wanted it in the beginning, however, they noticed and decided to work with me.
