Hi yelps! Today 10-15-2025 was the grand opening of Kendall's new Barnes and noble location. It's now one floor, great lay out of all the books! They had a huge and great selections of all books. A good size kids area with seating, tables, legos area. Starbucks is still here! they now extended the cafe and it's huge! my caramel frappe was delicious and see myself coming back to the book store. Adults don't really have so much seating areas around the store other than the actual cafe. It's a great place to come study, read a book, come with the family. I'm happy it's still around! I was so upset to hear about the prior location closing but coming today - I'm so happy with how it turned out and appreciate all the effort they put into it! :) wish I would've taken more pics.

This Barnes & Noble is one of my favorites places to come to browse for hours. In our increasingly online society, it's great to come to a place where you can touch books & explore them before committing to purchasing. This B&N looks clean and nicely organized. Employees are friendly and helpful. I love this bookstore and hope to keep coming for many years to come.

    This place is huge!

My family and I are connoisseurs of Barnes and Noble. In fact, that very store is what kept my family and me sane during our three-year stint in Minot, ND. Therefore, I feel like I can honestly say through my B&N prowess that this is one for the books. What can I say about this place that the pictures don't show? The store is huge, it's massive, it's two full floors with a cafe and a rather large Hispanic section. In one week I must have visited this place at least three to four times. Some B&Ns have a rather large game section, this one did not. However, it does have a significant kid's section, a religious section with multiple shelves of bibles, and a nicely sized history section. Just trust me, this place is great! Go, enjoy, and read more. Enjoy!

I love coming here! This where I went after a movie in the shopping center next door and although it's changed over the years it still has a wonderful selection of goods, games, records (on the second floor). My favorite part is that back in the day my parents would bring me here and now that my parents are older they want to get back into reading more themselves. I love that their Spanish section is bigger than I have seen at other B&Ns. You make your selection, enjoy a coffee/treat at the cafe, and find books to sit in throughout the store. This store reminds me that people still love physical stores and media and is always a pit stop when I'm back home.

Ou next summer adventure with kids take us to Barnes & Noble located in Kendall one of favorites library store. With several departments for children's books for young people and adults, which make this place the perfect place to open a portal and travel through history through reading. Magazine, books and more options to choose or select

I enjoy coming here to because I love being surrounded by books and having for myself a cup of coffee. Just like any other B&N establishment, they have many books under many different categories with the children's section located on the first floor and the music/audio section located on the second floor. They sell a lot of stationary and cards, and surprisingly, a lot of toys and games, as well. There's a Starbucks Cafe to the right side of the store as you enter, which sells pretty much everything a stand alone Starbucks sells. However, they don't take Starbucks gift cards since they are under B&N establishment but if you have the B&N membership, discounts do apply at the cafe. And depending on what time you come to the cafe, all the tables are usually taken. Tables can someone be dirty, depending on the previous person using it, and the chairs are very worn that the cushion is very flat with some obvious holes in others. Restrooms are located towards the back to the right and are a little "meh" in terms of cleanliness and tidiness, in my opinion. Overall service is very exceptional--friendly, helpful and efficient.

In today's world of mobile phones, iPads, computers and Amazon it's a miracle that businesses like this have survived. Barnes and Nobles is an awesome place that reminds me of a modern library where you can not only find or buy a book for people of any diverse group or simply spend time in a reading in a very comfortable setting sipping on your favorite Starbuck's latte. Place is very clean and has ample comfortable setting and a Starbucks. It's got all the most recent best sellers, school text books and old classics that cover any subject you can imagine or have interest. Surprisingly with all the competition in this type of brick and mortar business was full of people on Friday night. Highly recommend this business when looking for text books or a tHe latest hot selling authors release.

I fell in love with reading since I was a child. I remember having a library card and always going to check out books weekly. As I've gotten older I've forgotten my love for reading. Recently, I've had a spark ignite in me again and instead of me downloading a book on my nook(which has never been used and has a collection of dust) I decided to head back into a book store and just get lost. Barnes and Nobles is the perfect bookstore. It's so close to home, has a vast variety of books, records(yeah as in vinyl), story time for kids, and let's not forget coffee (Starbucks to be exact). There are tables to sit and study or read your book right there. Some people even plop themselves in an aisle and read right there. And I love the smell, I know that sounds weird but all that paper and hardcovers really just bring happy memories. I had been hearing about a specific book and so I went online to order it and received a 15% discount and it was ready for pick up in less than an hour. When I arrived the smell of vintage hit and I decided to wander around. Before you know it over an hour had passed and I made a list of more books for purchase after finishing this one. I went to the register to pick up my book and was on my way. For anyone wanting to still go to the bookstore and just do a pick up so you can still look at different books and items I recommend doing it online. For others get lost and go up and down all the aisles and find your secret reading treasures.

Love coming here!! Have been coming here since I was in college. Wow, that is a while back!! I enjoy coming to purchase books for me, my kid and now my grandchildren! They almost always have what I am looking for but if not they order it for you and email you when it arrives!! EASY!! On Saturday there is story hour for kids. There always seems to be groups gathered by the cafe which by the way is a Great Starbucks!! I try to order the books before going to avoid the lines and have time for myself and a nice cup of caramel Frappuccino!!

The cappuccino was a latte, can't even get a coffee taste. The iced latte was good because I asked for an extra shot. It seemed like the girls working there today did not care at all. My husband said his cortadito was weak, too much milk. I will come back for croissants, not for coffee.

It took a bit for our waiter to stroll back around to take our order, and for a Sunday morning brunch, I wouldn't have considered this place a "packed" house. When the time came around, I was first to place my order, I wanted something different so I ordered Shakshuka. Of course; I did my quick research of the dish before getting to the restaurant! Shakshuka is suppose to be a one-skillet egg dish, the eggs are basted in this rich, thick red pepper, tomato, onions, and garlic sauce, topped with satueed peppers. I also ordered a French toast and chai latte! Fast forward to when everyone dishes were dropped off, even though I was first to order my dish did not arrive. I waited around for 10-15 minutes, my whole family was pretty much done with their meals. I had to call over our waitress to advise my order was never dropped at the table. After letting her know, my dish was expedited to the table in less than 5 minutes. Could they have been a rush to send out the dish? Possibly. Because that was the worst dish ever and nothing like described. The peppers were not sautéed (or little to nothing) and were just sliced, plated for decor. The tomato/red pepper based sauce seemed like it was just canned tomato sauce, very liquid-y. Simply was not fond of this dish. The french toast were more like hard french toast sticks, I would've liked it to be on the fluffier end, but they were hard/toasted. Nothing that blew my mind. As far as my chai latte, it was divine! The perfect warm hug. The chai to steamed milk ratio was on point, and topped cinnamon. My mom ordered their $42 Entrecöte Frites; man, did that sound delicious. As a true steak connoisseur, she loves a bleeding rare steak! So that was the temperature she ordered, rare. I was excited to snag a bite or two from her plate to be the judge it for myself. The plate dropped the first time, she cut right in the middle of it to see the finishing temperature... it was wrong. Sent it right back. The second time it hit the table, the temperature was correct. A bright red center and a seared exterior, just what she was looking for. However, it was so salty, you just could not get past all the salt, nothing to enjoy. Not edible, unless you wanted clogged arteries right then and there! My wife ordered a caprese sandwich. Yes, I also took a bite of that while waiting my for my order(lol). The baguette bread was airy, delicious, and soft. The mozzarella was fresh and the tomatoes were nice and ripe. I also tried their croissants, almond and chocolate croissant, pistachio croissant, and Nutella croissant. They were buttery, flaky, and all the fillings complimented it well. My conclusion to La Boulangerie is you have to be selective about what you order from here. Maybe they had an off day and we were the unlucky ones, but the more complicated meals turned out to taste the worst. However, you can definitely enjoy light bites here... you can't go wrong with a baguette sandwich, coffee, or a pastry. I think baking and light fare is where their true expertise lies.

The staff was friendly and polite. I ordered the ham and cheese cachito, and oh my goodness... it instantly took me back to the ones I used to eat as a kid in school in Venezuela. The cachito was that good. I didn't try anything else, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but for the cachitos alone, I'd happily drive from Miami Lakes all the way to Kendall again. We've been wanting to try this French café style place, so now is our chance. And, the necessary free wifi is available. We were greeted and seated upon arrival, then adjusted to another table for computer needs. The place is bright and loud, cool minimalist French deco, not frou-frou. The metal seats aren't pretty or comfortable. Bathrooms are ok, not stocked with paper towels or seat covers, tho. No biggie. Music is monotonous and slightly annoying. Just feels so lackluster here, like a "why even try" attitude? To illustrate this, they have all these cool clocks reading what time it is in Paris, Lima, Caracas, etc and NONE of the clocks are working. Seems on brand here. Staff was adequate, but inattentive. Maybe that's the French style? Less interested in serving the "ugly American" haha? For instance American coffee is free refills, but you have to chase down a server every time! Then you have get up anyway and go find more cream. Most importantly, food is really PRICY, even for Miami! In conclusion, the offerings were pretty good, and they do have an extensive menu for a bakery style place. It just feels like an OvErPrIcEd French theme Starbucks/Panera with table service. I wish we'd read the yelp reviews before landing here. Disappointing, It will be our last visit here. Thanks for following me, happy summer yelping in 2026! ~Tami in Miami

The food was actually amazing, especially for a casual cafe environment. I had the loaded avocado toast which came with two slices toast with creamy avocado spread across it, cherry tomatoes, a sprinkle of feta cheese, a balsamic vinegar sauce. For my daughter I ordered the waffles with berries. This was slightly smaller than I expected but delicious. So sugary and flavorful. And I had a honey cinnamon latte which I also felt was full of flavor and had lots of cinnamon (I've had this in other places where I felt the flavor and cinnamon were lacking). That being said, it took 24 minutes to get our food which I think is a bit excessive for this environment. There was only one girl working when we were there and lots of people. Also, the bill for all that (plus an apple juice) was $53 and change including tip! (I paid that same amount recently at a cute sit down restaurant where the meal was big enough to have plenty of leftovers). The ambiance had a clean, minimalist aesthetic with pretty decor pieces. It was very quiet too... about halfway through my visit, they turned on some music, but it was still a quiet, calm environment with the music. I prefer a busier, fun type of vibe, but for those who are looking for something very serene and calm this would be an ideal place to relax or get some work done as long as you're willing to wait for your food!

Healthy monkey shake with peanut butter, can't go wrong. The acai bowl left a lot to be desired if you enjoy something healthy. In my opinion, acai bowls shouldn't be sweetened with anything else other than the fruits they have on top but this bowl was sweet. Too sweet. On top of that, there was honey on it which I would've opted out for if I had asked if the acai was sweet. Definitely on me but I wouldn't come back to get an acai bowl just because of the sweet acai. That's MY personal preference. On top of that, the strawberries used were also sweet in marmalade? No need. This seems like what they're known for and it's just not it. I really wanted to like this spot for what they're known for, their açaí bowls, as it has fantastic reviews just for that ! But it missed the mark for me. I would definitely suggest to have regular sugar free açaí for people that don't like all of that added sugar and fruit without sweetener added to it.
