He passed his meet and greet (9/3) and the we took him to daycare Tuesday and Thursday (9/8 & 9/11). The staff told us how much they loved Rocco, how he was very friendly and adapting quickly. **Preface: our dog has never had any skin issues in the 3 months we've had him** We noticed on 9/9 he had a patch of scabs on the back of his neck, but didn't think anything of it because he runs through fields and likes to play in the bushes. We then boarded him over this past weekend because we were getting married and didn't want to leave him locked up in a hotel room all weekend. We now wish that's what we would've done. 30 minutes before picking up our baby this morning, my husband received the text in the picture from a staff member. We were assured everything was fine and there was nothing else to be concerned about because he was doing better. As you can clearly see in these photos, there is still blood and a gaping wound in our dogs neck. The lack of transparency and compassion for our dog is absolutely ridiculous. They couldn't even be bothered to wipe the blood of his neck. We are unsure how he got this wound, but quite frankly it doesn't even matter because we can't trust Dogtopia to be truthful about it. Safe to say we will NEVER bring Rocco back.

When we went to visit , they didn't show us the areas where they played and never let us see on video their room where they go in crates! We brought food for our dog knowing that he is a fussy and eats only in the Evening when he chooses! They always brought an empty food bowl and said that he ate it all, I really thought that they were lying and told them that he never eats lunch. He continued his dinnertime routine, and the days that he was home, tried to feed him Lunch and he would not even sniff it! He would go in and was excited and when we picked him up, he was excited to see us, too. He was only there for about 2 months and we then went back to our home state. It bothered me that he was peeing inside only on the turf and walking around on wet turf which was mopped up. That always bothered me and it actually pretty gross! We had a person come over for a couple of. nights instead of bringing him there where we would not know if he really ate. The lady who came had previously worked there and told us that she would not put her dog there due to never going outside, peeing and poop inside and no windows what so ever! I decided that I would have to spend more time and check the reviews out much more carefully for this year! They take your money out from the credit card that they keep on File. You are required to give a 2 week notice when your dog is leaving and we did that. Looking at my bank states about 2 months later, I saw that they had removed money for the month that we. were not even in Florida. I called and told them and they said that a manager, Amy would take care of that and call me back. I had to call numerous times to finally have her call me. She must have hoped that I would go away! When she called, she argued about the extra money she had removed from my account, saying that was what we owed, and she could put 10.00 back on my card. I was ver upset about her dishonesty and she told me that when we return this Winter, Romeo could come for the first week every day that we wanted to bring him! I said fine and gave up. I do not recommend taking your Dog there as I no longer trust them, in any way.

Misha (our fabulous female GSD) was assigned Tiffany as her trainer. We went for the 30 day…read moretraining program. She was not listening to us at all. And we knew she needed what we didn't understand how to give. Enter Tiffany. This was 4 weeks (yikes!!!). It was so hard -- we were obsessed with watching Misha on Paradise Pet's cameras. We would visit each week to see Misha's progress. Let me tell you this... if you are frustrated. If you are unsure. Please do this for your pet -- and even more, for yourself. It's a game changer. Tiffany was able to teach our fur baby commands. They are now ingrained. But she NEVER broke Misha's spirit. That is an art. Misha is now acclimated toward other dogs -- she's learned how to be a dog. And she learned that commands are fun and rewarding. I will admit that 4 weeks was A LOT to be without her. And on the days we went to check on her progress, we were very sad when we had to leave her there. (Very sad). But Misha's calmness, her response to commands... it's miraculous. It's an expense. It's a month without your pupster. It's not a small decision. But, in our experience, it's been absolutely brilliant. We learned something from her absence, and she learned to be a dog. We highly recommend Pet Paradise... btw, the facility is VERY clean, the staff is affectionate and proactive... the boarding aspect is stellar. It is reassuring to be able to live feed and see how your pet is doing. And, we HIGHLY recommend Tiffany. She is firm, consistent, kind, affectionate. No nonsense. Misha loved her, but more importantly, respected her. And then she taught us how to replicate that. Thank you Tiffany. Thank you Pet Paradise. Well done.

I have been brining my dog and cat (cat off and on when I go out of town) for over two years now. I can recall a time when my dog who is currently 11 was having tummy issues, turns out he has pancreatitis. Had an accident while at day care (he goes daily while I work) he had rice earlier that morning which made it look like worms. Tony called every number listed trying to get ahold of me and even called my mother who is also a client to track me down. He was so worried about my little guy he was getting ready to take him to the vet. Luckily I told Tony it was just rice so to keep an eye on him they had my little guy stay up front with them (with my permission of course). This morning was cold, rare for Florida causing my little guys arthritis to bother him, so they carried him back and kept a watchful eye on him and said if he was having problems, they would put him in a separate area so it didn't get aggravated further. Luckily, he was fine and played with all his friends. Every morning my dog gets so excited to go today care he does a "Happy Howl" as soon as we pull into the parking lot. When he sees Tony and Yolanda getting out of their car, he does another "Happy Howl" he absolutely loves them and going to Preppy Pet. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give them 10 Stars I would! :)
