I am SO glad I found Barking Bliss!!! Long story short, my dog (45lb terrier-poodle mix) Valentino is scared of, and reactive to, new people and dogs, barking like crazy and in the case of other dogs, also lunging. When I picked him up, I saw that not only did he love the people, he played with other dogs too! That's the first time I have ever heard of Val playing with dogs. Considering he was only there for the day, Yas and his team must have spend a lot of time with him, patiently helping him get comfortable. I have never, ever, seen my dog adapt so quickly and completely. The details: When I called, Yas answered the phone and was very kind and helpful. He didn't seem bothered at all when I mentioned Val being reactive, explaining that dogs are often that way initially but usually get comfortable after some time, and that there was a private room if Val needed it. When we met him, he was SO good with Val! I've never seen someone react so calmly and fearlessly around him. I had been terrified that with Val nonstop barking, he would be turned away, but within about 10 minutes, after Yas led him on a short walk, Val was mostly calm. I immediately felt reassured. It was clear that Yas really understands dogs and believes all dogs are inherently good. I love that Barking Bliss has an app! It made it super-easy to create a profile for my dog, make an appointment, and upload his vaccination records. Mid-day I received a text with a picture of Val! It's awesome that they take the time to take pictures (and sometimes video) and proactively share that with the pet-parent. It was reassuring to see him sitting nicely, and know he was being paid attention to. Barking Bliss blew our minds. We will definitely be back and I know Val will be happy to see his new friends again! read more

If I could give 1,000,000 stars, I would! Yas is truly living in his purpose, and we are so grateful to have found this place for our girl Issa. A week prior, our dog Issa was attacked pretty badly by another dog and needed stitches. My husband and I were so worried about dropping her off so soon after the attack, but we had already booked a vacation. Yas lets you do a trial and drop your dog off for a couple of hours just so you and your dog can see how the feel is. We did the trial, and it was great; Yas is very gentle and informative. Our vacation lasted four days, and Yas sent us multiple pictures and videos every day. It was so wonderful to see her finally get adjusted, comfortable, and even happy. Besides that, the prices are great! They also offer daycare. We will be returning customers! read more

Yas and Diana were amazing! Very genuine and caring for our fur baby Kai! They truly take their jobs and responsibility for our fur babies very seriously making you feel comfortable that your pup will be well taken care of. Loved the daily updates too! Kai is a 10 year old Samoyed with high anxiety, especially with chronic separation anxiety. Boarding him has always been a big stress for myself and most of all for Kai. He would struggle with constant barking, loss of appetite, lack of sleep, constant diarrhea, and would rub his nose raw with the kennel gates. Took him to Yas, and he did absolutely amazing! Great, friendly environment for him. He got along with other dogs fine and had a great time. He instantly felt safe and comfortable with Yas and Diana. They made him feel at home, and as a result, had no anxiety issues at all! Unbelievable! He boarded for 9 days and he did fantastic! Barking Bliss was very accommodating with any special needs Kai had, including daily meds. They offer baths and even pickup and drop off services which is pretty awesome! And best of all, very reasonably priced and affordable! Thankful that we found a home away from home for our Kai!! So relieved and happy to have found Barking Bliss! read more

My dog has been reactive with some sitters in the past, but they were such professionals and did an incredible job! She played all day, got all her energy out, and was ready for snuggles and sleeps when she got home. They also send videos and photos throughout the day so you know how you pup is doing. They did a great job bonding with my dog and am relieved to have a place to take her A few awesome notes: they are FAR cheaper than other places, do pick ups and drop offs, and wearing incredibly flexible with time. Barking Bliss is such an amazing place for pets! We were looking for a place to board our little dog for 5 days, and after reading reviews on Yelp, we visited Barking Bliss with our pup. Yaas was so welcoming and answered all of our questions, plus our dog warmed up to him right away! Yaas invited us to do a "trial" half-day before our trip, and our dog had the best time ever! We felt very comfortable boarding him when the time came. Throughout his stay, we received photos and videos and he looked like he was having a ball with the staff and other dogs! BARKING BLISS is an absolute lifesaver for puppy parents! I was incredibly hesitant to take my 5 1/2 month old puppy for his first professional groom because he is a major ball of energy, very wiggly, and gets easily startled by loud noises like blow dryers and hair clippers. I honestly didn't know how anyone would handle him, but Barking Bliss blew me away. The groomer here is a true professional and handled all of his puppy wiggles and fears with total ease, patience, and safety. Just got a Husky from the pound. Sweet dog but definitely terrified of car rides. Getting to Barking Bliss was the usual; she was shaking and whining in fright. Got there and Yas was kind and welcoming. At work he sent me videos of my dog. The best part however was picking her up. Yas took time to speak to me and give pointers. Then when I got in the car while there was still a bit of nervousness there was no shaking or yelping. The owner was extremely accommodating and their hours of operation are fantastic, which saved us two extra days because we were able drop our dog off early and pick her up late. My dog was well taken care of and watched over. My dog was just neutered and Yas and everyone there looked out for him. They made him comfortable and he definitely enjoyed his time. Filthy! That's my first impression. This place reeks of excrement and urine--and that's just the front office!! It's dark and dogs enclosed in small area. I can't understand why any responsible dog owner would entrust their beloved pet at this boarding facility. I've been to other dog hotels and the waiting area is well lit and has no odor at all. Everything is clean ( including the bathroom) and my dog, along with every other dog I've seen, can't wait to get inside. Please avoid this place at all costs. read more
