    Staff and facilities are top notch. We've taken our German Shepherd Marco to many doggie camps in Orange County before finding our new 2nd home here at Smart Parke in Laguna Woods. Marco's been coming to camp consistently here for one year now and he's always excited when he knows we're on our way. The entire staff is amazing, they truly are. This place is well staffed with awesome individuals who are well trained. Marco is genuinely happy to see them and I feel the team is excited to see Marco. We're on the unlimited monthly plan, which due to work, we use 5 days a week. And after one year of Marco going to SmartParke a lot, we've literally have had zero negative experiences and talking to others it seems like no one has any negative experiences. Like zero! If you're smart and try them out please tell them Marco referred you If you're in need of their unlimited plan, call around. You'll see SmartParke has the best monthly $ while also having better facility than their competitors. How crazy cool is that !!

    Very nice, professional and love dogs!! They were patient taking our Husky back as he can be a bit intimidating (he's just noisy), because it sounds like he's growling. But seconds later he was waging his tail and happy to be there. They offered me a great deal for the remainder of the month (March '25) for daycare, which I immediately took advantage.

    Post full day of playgroup and overnighter at SmartParke tired & happy pupper!

    Our pup loves SmartParke! We tried out the boarding this weekend. Only for one night to see how our dog would handle it. He did great! Definitely didn't want to leave, which is a good sign in my book.

    Apollo was boarded here last weekend and he enjoyed himself ! We still give them 5 stars !! The only thing I wish they could do is: change the camera in the suite so you can see the entire room. The angle of the camera can't be adjusted so you don't see everything. And Apollo was out of view most of the time. Could only see his paws lol. And I wish they were able to let you know on the report card if they pooped/ peed. But other than that he loved it !

    Smart parke is the best! It's one of the only places I trust to take care of my pups. Pics of my past and present pups. Extra love for all of the care they gave to Rigsby when he got sick with cancer. The staff is amazing and the dogs love to go to "school"

    They take very good care of our dogs whether they are boarding and at daycare. It's great to have them. We use them weekly for our doodles.

We dropped her off around mid-February, and the staff and Andy on arrival couldn't have been more welcoming. They treated our Shepherd as one of their own. Andy was very open about how he would be training her, and what to expect. During her stay, Andy sent many videos and messages about the progress our girl was making. He showed us what he was doing, how our Shepherd was doing, and overall stayed connected and communicative during her stay. Upon her return, we could see the difference that Andy had made for her. She seemed to be so much more confident and more like a dog. My fiancée and I couldn't be happier with the results that Andy and Camp Opie made for our girl. Not only did he pass on what he taught her to us, he also gave us the tools and training techniques to continue her training journey for our baby to keep making improvements. If you're thinking about training or boarding your fur baby, I would highly recommend them.

The first thing I noticed was how clean and good smelling it was in there, looks like they really care. Next I was greeted by my dogs name when I walked in by the gentleman running the front office, I felt very welcomed. Next the assistant came and got us and she was also very nice and friendly, she took great care of my dog. Then Dr. Duveneck came in, she greeted us warmly, was excellent with my dog, answered all my questions, she was great, I will definitely be continuing to see Dr. Duveneck! At the end of the appointment my dog received 3 vaccinations and that all went well too. The icing on the cake was the bill! Holy cow! Their prices are extremely low! To be clear, the veterinarian provided excellent care, several of the vet assistants were wonderful, and I've generally had positive experiences with the front desk. My dog had surgery to remove a cyst, and the procedure itself was handled very well. For that, I'm truly grateful. Unfortunately, the issue came afterward. When checking out, I questioned the high cost of the medication and mentioned that I normally use Chewy or Allivet. The front desk encouraged me to use their pharmacy instead, assuring me the prescription would be approved quickly and the service would be reliable. Since my dog needed an antibiotic daily for 10 days, I agreed and purchased enough locally to cover four days in case of shipping delays. The medication didn't even ship for three days. By Monday, I was almost out and contacted the office. Instead of receiving understanding or help, I was told it was my fault for ordering through their pharmacy and that I could either pay an inflated price for more pills or "figure it out myself." Of course, I had no choice but to pay because my dog needed the medication. Now I've learned the shipment won't arrive until next Monday, after the medication is no longer needed, forcing me to buy even more locally just to complete the treatment. The delay is frustrating, but the real disappointment is the lack of ownership, empathy, and support when their recommended solution failed. Integrity matters most when something goes wrong. Sadly, because of this experience, I'll be finding a different veterinarian moving forward.

Our little family includes George, our Frenchie who recently underwent back surgery, and Waldo, our Portuguese Water Dog/Poodle mix who struggles with extreme anxiety. Leaving them anywhere can be stressful for us, but Ian immediately put our minds at ease. He is incredibly friendly, professional, and, most importantly, genuinely wonderful with our dogs. He takes the time to understand their individual needs and treats them with such patience and care. With George's recovery and Waldo's anxiety, that extra attentiveness means everything to us. It's clear Ian truly loves what he does, and it shows in the way our pups light up when they see him. We keep coming back because of Ian and the way he treats George and Waldo. I'm sure the entire team is just as kind, but Ian consistently goes above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have found someone we trust with our babies.

Also, this is the only place where small dogs are considered to be up to 25 pounds. Other places I've been to will charge significantly more if your dog is just about 15 pounds.

    My puppy stayed for two weeks at Paw Sweet Paw, and I have to say the marketing does a better job…read morethan how the business actually operates. Prior to the stay, I was told first-timers get 1 week of free boarding. Knowing that we'd be out of the country for 2 weeks, this was perfect, on top of thinking the workers were nice. I also made sure they would be sending photo updates EVERY DAY via email and that there are cameras in the play area for us to check on him. As the front desk lady could tell, I made sure to make their lives easier, so I printed out 2 A4 sheets of things to know about my pup, being as detailed as possible so they wouldn't be confused about what to do since he's still a puppy. Two weeks later, we had to ask our friend to pick him up because they said no one could help release the pup on Easter Day. When they went to pick him up, both the bowl and the bed were missing, and they couldn't find them on the spot. They had to be delivered the day after, and ONLY because I made that phone call to confirm if they could find my puppy's bowl and his ginormous bed. During those two weeks, we clearly informed them that we would be out of the country and that SMS wouldn't work, yet they didn't remember until I emailed them, twice. Over the 15 days, I could barely see my pup on the camera, and I only received THREE email updates and one 10-second video of my puppy, which didn't even show anything meaningful. It felt like it was recorded just for the sake of sending something. One of the updates was also sent only after I emailed them the second time. Being told we'd be getting one week of free pet boarding for first-timers was WHY we chose to stay here. The staff also told us we could call for a refund if we were mischarged. Two weeks later, when we called, the lady told me they were going through reorganization, so workers were moving around, maybe that's why things were missing, and that the free first week only applied to daycare. I would have to speak to the manager about my concern. The manager obviously had the answer in mind and avoided my phone calls a couple of times, on top of my calls getting hung up more than 2-3 times during transfer. When she finally picked up, without hesitation to my question, she said she couldn't refund me for the first free week, but she could offer me a discount, or a free daycare day or some other discounts. Lol. What's the difference between giving me back a 1-week refund as your team promised versus a discount? Why not solve the problem instead of dancing around it? Why am I getting "punished" when your workers told me the wrong thing? Sure, you might lose a couple hundred bucks, but what's more valuable is that you're losing is a customer who will no longer trust your business, and the word-of-mouth effect that could've helped bring in more customers. As a business owner, you should understand better why pet owners trust you with their dogs and what they expect, especially in Orange County. Unfortunately, our first experience was horrendous and extremely disappointing. The level of disorganization and hassle is beyond disappointing. If you're looking for a pet boarding hotel, I strongly suggest finding somewhere else. Like the lady said, they're going through reorganization, so they might be too busy taking care of customers right now anyway.
