My husband and I have never had a dog before so we were a little unsure when we decided to adopt our maltipoo puppy, Teddy. Since we both work during the day, we asked Sarah to come by to check on our little guy mid day and give him fresh food, water, and have some play time. She has gone above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Here are just a few of the things we have really appreciated: 1) We were having issues with the potty pad and Teddy beginning to chew it. Sarah stopped by Petsmart on her way over and purchased a pad holder so that he could no longer mess with the pad and chew it. 2) Sarah helped us determine a better food source for Teddy by recommending a few good puppy foods. Sure enough, the food helped Teddy gain the weight that the vet mentioned he needed to gain. 3) We were unsure how to clip Teddy's nails, so Sarah recommended a pair of clippers that she has had success with and then proceeded to show us how to do it. 4) Sarah noticed some behaviors in Teddy that were odd and mentioned to us that he might have an ear infection. Sure enough, we took Teddy to the vet and he had one. We would have NEVER known if it weren't for Sarah's expertise! These are only some of the things Sarah has done for us... I am so glad we found Sarah at Critter Sitters! We had planned to board our dogs at a facility but the vibe didn't sit well with us. Sarah was available and on short notice for our 5 day 4 night trip. She came over ahead of time to see the house and meet the dogs which was appreciated.
