When I first called, the voicemail asked for several pieces of information, but by the time I was supposed to leave a message, I couldn't remember all of the questions, so I ended the call. I then received multiple text messages asking for the same information, which made the process feel a little more annoying. Someone later called me, but the connection was poor and I could not hear them, so they sent the same message again. When I received another call, I asked for a basic price range. I explained that I only wanted to know a ballpark price for a couple of services. I provided my crossroads and dog breed, but I was still told I had to give my full physical address before receiving any additional information, including pricing. Overall, the process felt unnecessarily difficult and lacked transparency. I was simply trying to get a general idea of cost before deciding whether to move forward (is this going to cost me around $50/dog or $150/dog). Have used them several times and have had missed appointments, one appt cut short due to personal reasons which is not a big deal, another appt cancelled because the driver of the van couldn't drive the van to my house due to a slight incline and then couldn't get my dog from my house and bring it to the van because she was worried about leaving the van for two minutes to get the dog and asked if I could carry my dog (asphalt and concrete was hot so would need to carry) down to where she wanted to park which I didn't want to do cause I walk assisted with a cain. Also the service is way over priced. Other groomers in the valley do great work and charge almost half the price. Don't use barkbus. Save yourself the money and headache. read more

Everything was first class! Melodie did an amazing job. The communication was awesome before/during/after. She sent text updates & photo during the grooming session and slowed down and took her time to make sure our elderly dog was as relaxed as possible. The end result was fabulous! It was nice not having to drive, wait in line, crate our dog for hours and stress her out with other dogs' barking, etc. it was clearly like a spa day for her. Two final notes - other mobile groomers were scheduling at the end of the month or even further out. I was able to schedule here for the next day. Finally, my pup had difficult spots to clean under her eyes. Previous groomer said she was too squirmy and they couldn't do anything about these areas, which is why we found a new groomer. So we had bark bus come and Groom our two dogs. One is a chocolate lab and the other is a Viszla. Leo was an amazing stylist for us, we don't usually use groomers, but I just had surgery and my husband has not been feeling well and my son just broke his wrist so we needed to have somebody come over and clean them up, we usually put them in the shower with the removable handle. My Vizsla is really good with getting her toes, trimmed and everything, and my chocolate lab, Layla, hates having her feet touched. She was able to get all of Layla's nails, and it worked out great. Leo was completely awesome about it and I know I spent a lot of money, but it was so worth it this time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone else. read more

They were told my dog was old and hated his nails trimmed. So he got bitchy when she tried. So i get a call that she cant finish because he didnt like his nails trimmed. So i paid $65 for just a shampoo. Then they had the audacity to send me a message saying he could never be booked again because of his behavior and what had happened, like he mauled someone. He is a toothless PomChi maybe 3 lbs. The stylist had no sense of direction either i was waiting out front of my apartments for her, finally i glanced over to the condo complex next door she had been over there for who knows how long. Barkbus stylists are flaky and do not have a great work ethic judging by their companies ability to allow them to cancel on such short notice on multiple occasions. My first experience was good. My dog came out groomed beautifully by Gabriella P. So I wanted to rebook. It's been a disaster since. I waited 8 weeks for my next app with Gabriella only for it to be moved around and then canceled the same day. Her replacement, Laurie, did not do a great job. Ears won't cut, the cut was all uneven. Didn't look like the picture I showed. I tried to rebook with Gabriella P because I figured everyone deserves a second chance and it was probably some kind of emergency. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. My appointment was canceled 20 MINUTES before arrival time. That's the final straw. I had read all the reviews about the scheduling problems but tried to be forgiving. Nope. I will be going with another groomer. Too expensive to have such horrible experiences. read more
