I love these groomers! They squeezed me in on short notice even though I'm a first time customer. They took the time to do a thorough grooming. I have a Maltese and he isn't fond of baths or brushing. They are skilled in the making a Maltese look perfectly white and trimming just the right way. They groomed my spaniel perfectly! They trimmed his feathers so beautifully. I'm not super fussy about my dogs' cuts, but they went beyond what other groomers have done. I like that I didn't have to leave my dogs there all day, although you can drop them off if you need to. I loved everything about my experience with this groomers. I contacted them on Yelp for a quote and made my appointment through the messages as well. They were able to squeeze me in for that Saturday and had a very reasonable price. I dropped my pup off and a couple hours later, he was done. It did take longer than I anticipated but since they squeezed him in and he has a ton of fluff, no complaints. My total almost matched the quote minus an upcharge for his under coat. I was expecting that though as they couldn't really see all of his fluff in the original message. Still more reasonable than most groomers. Upon picking my pup up I was greeted by a very happy dog who looked like he had just had a day at the spa. They did such a fantastic job with all his fur and fluff. My black Labrador (mix) has received quality 5-star service both visits, and so have I! We used Yelp to help us find them late last year, and had a wonderful bath experience. I adopted my dog at the age of almost 1-year and she was evidently abused by a water hose in some way, because she is nowhere to be found when the garden hose gets turned on, and she's not much of a fan of water in general unless she's drinking it! So when this was explained to the kind staff on visit one, they took this into consideration and my Lab was actually "happy" when I arrived to pick her up! Second visit, today, was amazing!!! We got skunked last week and I tried a lot at home on my own, but it was time to take Ladybug to the experts! I called at as soon as they opened this a.m. and my dog was in the shop with 30 minutes of the call!!! I am so grateful the lovely, friendly staff all remembered my Lab's water story, and once again my dog was totally OK with hanging out and didn't try to take me for a run out the front door! I'm NEVER going to go elsewhere as long as I am able to go here!!! No joke! I've tried other places around here and no one can give my easy Lab a descent de-shed treatment like these guys either!!! Awful, awful customer service. My mom And I were yelled at, judged, and belittled in front of other customers for speaking up about the quality of job/ lack of completion with one of our dogs. We were treated very poorly and don't recommend this groomer. Not only were we misquoted over the phone, but one of our dogs came incomplete because "he was too hard" and now I have to take him to another groomer to get his ears fixed. All I asked for was a $10 discount to cover the cost of the other groomer who COULD FIX and finish his ears. It's like a haircut, if you don't like your haircut, the barber will gladly fix it. If you still don't like it, chances are they'll try to make it right somehow by the way of discount, free haircut next time, and probably not even charging you at all for the bad haircut and hope you'll come back. Not here. I was in the wrong and she threatened to call the police on me if I didn't pay full price for unfinished services. read more

These guys are awesome they have taken care of both our dogs (great Dane mix and a poodle mix). The poodle is always a mess and every place we took her before she would just mat up in a few weeks. I am so happy that I found this groomer for Buster. I was taking him to Petsmart but it always seemed so hectic in there and Buster seemed to be anxious because there was way too much stimulation. When I arrived there it was very clean and I couldn't believe how calm and nice it was. I really didn't know how to tell them to cut Buster's hair because I knew I wanted it shorter. When I picked Buster up he looked soooo cute!! They did an amazing job it is the best cut he has ever gotten. You can tell these ladies really care and take time with the animals. I took my 12.5 year old rottie here for the first time, and when I picked her up, she was soft, fluffy, completely dry and the groomer was very nice. My dog smelled good for at least a solid week after, and overall, I was a happy customer. I only took a star away because I thought they were more expensive than other places I've tried, and didn't offer any first time discounts. They don't enforce rabies shots as a new customer. When I called for the appointment, the girl never mentioned shots nor when I took my dog in. I thought that was suspicious of just how clean they actually are from behind the closed door. (It's a half door that's always closed) They also don't have a window to watch your pets safely or how they are handling them. When I went back to pick up my dog, he was panting and SO thirty. I wonder if they have a clean bowl of water in the back for each dog because I never got to see the back. read more

I am so happy I found Bark Bath N' Beyond for my two poodle mixes! We've been going to the same groomers for years, but after moving to Oceanside I needed to find someplace local. On our 1st visit the owner explained to me that it's just her and her cousin that opened the shop and do the grooming. I love that! At larger groomers you have to worry about if your groomer is there, who knows your dogs well or does a good job with them, etc. It's so comforting knowing these two women will always be there. She took the time to listen about some of my little dogs past fears of the groomers , sensitive areas, and grooming preferences. My dogs warmed up to her right away. They did an incredible job grooming and my dogs look adorable as ever! I've gone back for a 2nd time already and I think "fear of the groomers" is a thing of the past. I found this little gem on Facebook and had to give them a try since theydr are located so close to my house. I have two babies: a 1 year old French Bulldog and a 10 month old Pitbull/Rottweiler mix. I took them both in for a bath and nail trim. Their services are very reasonably priced, the staff is so welcoming and friendly and the location is convenient and clean. I just moved up to Oceanside and I'm glad I found a groomers here that I finally love! This place is new but Sandra and her cousin that work here have been grooming dogs for years. My dog was extremely happy when he left, as was I! She cut him exactly how I wanted her to, and was patient enough to cut his nails as well. It was $50 for my shih tzu/poodle (which isn't bad because other places have charged me for way more). After picking my dog up, I spoke with Sandra and I can tell she loves her job. These ladies are amazing!! They got our 75 lb Labradoodle, Joey, in to be groomed the same day I called! We have gone to Petsmart in the past and it has taken up to 10 days before I could get him in. They had him ready in 4 hours as promised and he looked and smelled wonderful. Marisol and Sandra were very sweet to Joey and of course they loved him. Usually when Joey gets home from the groomer he is exhausted and will lay down and sleep for hours. I know this is due to the stress of being in a cage and around a whole bunch of dogs and people in a noisy atmosphere. But yesterday when I picked him up and brought him home he didn't sleep at all. He had his usual energy and even wanted to eat and drink. The groomers told me that he was able to be loose in the back most of the time since they didn't have a lot of dogs and he was so friendly. I know that made a huge difference in his stress level. He is such a social dog and really does better around people. His last groomer at Petsmart failed to pull his ear hair which caused the wax to build up and he was scratching at his poor ear. I tried to clean it but he wouldn't let me. They got his ear all cleaned up and all the hair out. He hasn't scratched at his ear since he's been home! Marisol also told me his anal glands were really full (I might have puked in my mouth a little when she said that). But I was glad she told me because that was just another confirmation that the last groomer did not do a very good job. So if you need a good groomer that will love your pooch and show you kindness and consideration...please give your business to these ladies! Their shop is super cute and very clean.
