I don't know where to start. There's so many good things I want to point out, but I know if this post is too long, it won't get read! The breakfast sandwiches and burritos are amazing. Their pork belly is out of this world. I always get the pork belly burrito and it's the perfect mix of salty, sweet, and a kick of spice. They also make tasty coffee beverages of different varieties, my go to is the caramel latte. The service is top notch. You walk in and immediately you feel like you're welcomed in, treated like family, and make great conversation with everyone there. The ambience is very calm, the area is super clean, and there's even outdoor seating! We brought my niece dog one day and they came out and brought her an ice cream on the house (after asking of course)! They're so generous, and so warm and inviting. We go more than I'd like to admit, but I love coming back because of the delicious food and the people that work here. Please give this gem a try if you haven't already! I should also add, they make the best cookies in the area... chocolate chip is my go to, and if you don't get it around breakfast time, they'll be sold out by lunch. Maybe not a 5 star location but with food like this they will find it! I can only attest to the Brisket and the Pork Sandwiches, delicious! The laser potato's, listed as a breakfast item, may have suffered from too long a life at lunch. I'll try to potato's earlier in the day next time. Best kept secret in Stevensville. We've lived in Texas and all over the place and Bark offers up some of the BEST bbq I have ever had the pleasure of savoring. Their customer service is over the top, as well. They have expanded their menu and now offer breakfast and some drinks (they do check everyone's ID). We go here for date night, lunch- whatever. It's my favorite place! We've tried their bark bowls (my favorite), pulled pork sandwich, pork belly sandwich, brisket. You really can't go wrong. It's all so mouth watering! Just go! read more

Bark BBQ is absolutely delicious. Their ribs are unbelievably good, so tender and meaty and juicy. It's unbelievable. They're the best ribs I've ever eaten anywhere and I've been on a rib tour, barbecue tour of Nashville and Houston Texas and nobody can touch these ribs. The beef brisket sandwich is fantastic. The brisket is nice and juicy and the meat is tender as can be. I had to pull pork today and it was just delicious. These guys are serious barbecuers and they hit the nail right on the head. This is a very different BBQ place. Industrial park parking lot, but worth the visit. Go inside to order at the counter. Very clean, not a lot of menu items and not all your standard BBQ options either. Order from the menu on the wall with pictures, pay, go outside (there is some indoor seating too), pick a table, and wait for your food. The Bark Bowl is a favorite of the Mrs. I'm partial to the brisket. Good quality meat, smoked right there in the parking lot, then fabricated into non-traditional BBQ creations that are excellent! read more

We stopped by after taking our dogs to a nearby beach for a walk and a swim. We got the Brisket bowl, a pulled pork sandwich and laser potatoes. My only complaint is that the sides are not listed at the actual store so if we hadn't scoped out the menu online first, we would not have known about the potatoes on the menu. We sat at their outdoor seating and even though it's in sort of a commercial business park, it was peaceful and a great spot to enjoy the delicious food. We will be back! read more

This is the new shining star on Kent Island! I've only tried the breakfast as they are only open from 7am-3pm M-F right now but I'm sure will expand hours once they get slammed with business! Let's talk about their not so ordinary Breakfast Burrito! It come's with 3 options; First, just the regular burrito with soft scrambled eggs(the only way scrambled should be cooked, those who like it hard are monster!), pico, beans, guacamole, laser potatoes and chipoltle mayo. This is a great one if you don't like meat but then... You can get this with either smoked pork belly or brisket! I've tried both and so should you. The thing is, I love it when a restaurant takes care in the construction of a dish! Have you ever had a burrito where you bite into it and wonder, where is the meat... or egg..., or guac... Yeah, so have I, all the time. People tend to just slop it into the tortilla because no one can see it! But, we can all taste it people!!! Bark definitely takes time when they are building this masterpiece of a breakfast burrito! Take a look at the photo and see for yourself. To round out breakfast, get yourself some of the laser potatoes! Once again you can see the care and time taken to make this delicious cubes of potatoes fried golden crisp but with layers of soft potatoes. Truthfully a 5 when it comes to the pure quality and taste of the Smoked, charred, juicy, and flavor of brisket and ribs. Everything else was good as well. Though it's one of my favorites on the eastern shore for BBQ this place does have its drawbacks. Very self serve food truck experience though they do bring the food out to you, smile, and seem like a really nice team! Being in a business park the location is unique. I am going to also lay out that I am not a fan of their BBQ sauce. I have learned to bring my own and the result is epic. I do prefer spicy BBQ sauce myself. The go to is the brisket sandwich which is accompanied by a pretty tasty bag of chips. I recommend that dish or the platter if you're going there with a friend to get some variety. She had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, and I had the Bark Bowl Brisket. It was ready on time, and everything was fresh. Her sandwich looked pleasant, and the portion size was adequate. My Bark Bowl, though... two 1/4" thick strips of pretty bland brisket, although tender for $16+??? Taste of the rice, pickled onion, cukes,cakes, and beans were good. Total for a sandwich, one platter with sides, two 12 oz cans, and one bag of chips = $45.85? Sorry, but that's steep for what we received. read more

This is a great spot. We went to lunch and sat outside where they have tons of fans circulating air nicely. The inside is actually quite small with only 2-3 tables. You order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table if you sit outdoors. We had a large group and had to split the group between several picnic style tables. My wife and I ordered the BBQ platter which had a ton of food for 39 bucks including ribs, brisket and smoked chicken. Came with 4 sides (greenS, red rice, slaw and laser potatoes). Had my first taste of the brisket last night (carry out) from Bark and I can say w/o hesitation--best brisket I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, just the right fat content...it's now my favorite restaurant that I've never been to--though we'll remedy that soon enough. First time to Bark BBQ, crossed over the bridge to try it. I told the young man that I am a picky brisket guy. Coming from NYC, I have eaten at many Jewish Delis and traveling the country for my job, tasted BBQ quite often. The young man told me that I wouldn't be disappointed in their brisket, so...I tried it. He was right....the coleslaw made a difference in the sandwich, I enjoyed it very much but at $17, is it worthy of that price? Great food, but way over priced. $17 for a meager sandwich and no side is ridiculous.

Grabbed lunch here a couple of weeks ago and was blown away. Food is on point. This is not your typical BBQ joint...IT'S BETTER. And it's going to get better with outdoor seating and liquor coming. Bark Cafe is a cross between a sophisticated BBQ joint with different infusions and a neighborhood cafe. Ya ok it's in a corporate circle but it's also around the corner from the Cross Island Trail and Terrapin State Park. Going to be a great place to hangout after the beach. I was so amazed and impressed with the BBQ, I asked them to cater a small gathering. Yes they cater! I was concerned about the brisket being dried out but nope. It all came out perfect. Must try the pork belly sandwich and ribs. Try the peach hoisin sauce! Oh and got a sweet tooth?! No sweat, they got fresh baked pastries cookies and croissants. Tyler and the owner were very nice and pleasant to deal with. The pit master Lorenzo even took time out to give me pointers and tips on smoking. Good luck Bark Cafe. I'm not a 5 star review giver...even if your restaurant it really good, I'm probably going to give you a 4 because there is always room for improvement. But this is literally the best barbecue I've ever had; FULL STOP! Best part, five minutes from my house and I can ride my bike if I want (that takes 10 minutes). And it is not just the meat dishes that are good, the sides are fantastic as well, normally an after thought at even the best barbecue restaurants, these sides are original (laser cut potatoes) and just as crave worthy as the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork! Simply put, I've been all over the South and eaten barbecue in every southern state, every other region of the country and all over the world (military vet) and if given the choice, this is where I want to get barbecue. And to top it all off, the staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Do yourself a favor, next time you are headed to the beach or on your way back, pull in to Bark, you won't regret it. read more

Just finished a wonderful breakfast burrito. Add the brisket, definitely worth it! Unbelievably tender, and all of the flavors come together beautifully.Side of laser cut potatoes, wonderfully crispy with a great dipping sauce. The outdoor grills are awesome. Bark BBQ doesn't mess around. Quiet easily the best bbq I've ever had on the entire east coast. We had the smoked pork belly sandwich, the brisket sandwich and the Korean ribs. The pork belly was tender, smokey and extremely flavorful. The brisket sandwich was top 10 best bbq sandwiches I've had in my life. The airiness of the bun, the crisp but light coleslaw, pepper jack cheese and pickled onions, all lended to a perfectly balanced true smoked brisket sandwich.
