    Chopped salad
    Jodie C.

My headband and I ordered the meat lovers pizza and the chopped salad both were really delicious. The meat on the pizza is top notch and the crust is thin and perfectly chewy. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious as well. I particularly liked the honey mustard vinaigrette which was light and tangy and a perfect compliment to the salami in the salad. We also had a beer and it was really good too. Ambiance is casual.

I saw the great reviews but frankly a tough crust and flavorless pizza. I'd still go for a beer but one the worst pizzas I've ever had.

Ordering is usually done via QR code, but they are also happy to orders at the register. One thing to note: on our visit, the restaurant left the front door open and didn't turn on heating so we found it rather cold inside. Clam Chowder in Sourdough Bread Bowl ($14) - Salty Girls has one of the best preparations for chowder bread bowls I've encountered. They expertly hollow out the center as much as absolutely possible, leaving maybe only half an inch of bread on the sides (I think they use the trimmings to make their homemade croutons). This allows them to ladle in the maximal amount of clam chowder, much more than most I've had in the past. While I believe the bread is some commercial one, it has a distinct, but light, sourdough taste and doesn't have the overwhelming taste of stabilizers and preservatives that some bread bowls run into. It's toasted very nicely, giving a fantastic crust, while the interior bread remains light rather than dense, yet holds up to the chowder well. The chowder itself is pretty good. It's thickened, but still just runny enough to not feel like it's been over reduced. Not clumpy or super heavy as some other chowders. There's a strong herbal quality in the mix, combined with large pieces of clam and bacon. The amount of clam isn't very generous, but there's enough of the chewy mollusk to get at least a piece per spoonful. Lots of tender diced potato chunks complete the chowder. There's by far the most potato in terms of ingredients in this dish, making it very carb heavy. The chowder is served steaming hot and remains quite hot for a long while even in the cold air of the restaurant. (4/5) Crab Melt ($18) - Interesting open faced sandwich, with the crusty heel portion of a ciabatta roll, toasted until crispy on the flats, but still softer on the interior, albeit thin. It's topped with an ice cream scoop of crab salad. The salad is essentially tuna salad with the crab substituted for tuna. This means there's a ton of crab and not much filler - plenty of sweet shreds of crab meat, mixed with a couple of crunchy pieces of celery in a creamy sauce. The crab salad is then topped with cheese, then the entire creation is broiled until the cheese on top becomes bubbly and the cheese that flows down the sides of the bread becomes essentially a crunchy cheese skirt. Something to note, not necessarily a negative, is that the center of the crab salad scoops remains cold, which is in stark contrast to the warmed exterior. The dish comes with a side of ridged kettle chips. Robustly crunchy, simply salted. Surprisingly good to dip into the clam chowder in fact. (4/5) Salty Girls definitely serves some good seafood dishes. I certainly wouldn't mind returning the next time I'm in Seqium. People play Frisbee and cornhole, or just chill on the Adirondack chairs. On chillier days or if staying for the evening, bring a blanket, a poncho or a coat. There are multiple vendors that sell food (pizza, vegan ice cream and such), though they do not operate every week-day. There's a drinking room inside, which is also where people congregate in the winter. They've got a large variety of their ciders on tap accompanied by helpful descriptions. The bartenders are friendly and will steer you right if you need help making a selection. There's flights and glass pours. The flights are fun - I highly recommend doing it! My friends and I, we do a flight per two people, and then we each order a glass (or two) of our favorites. During cold winter, they also sell hot cider (not-alcoholic), which you can have spiked with apple spirit. On week-end nights, there's often live music playing in the early evening in the big tent / dining hall. It's open air, so bring a blanket or a coat

It is a stark contrast from the consumerist drudgery, hyper-stimulation, and quotidian violence of the modern U.S. market-scape which has metastasized like a bad rash over the land. An alternative way of relating to strangers and community members alike, around long wooden tables, listening to local folk performers stirs up a sense of communality from long-ago genetic and cultural memories. Eating good food, and drinking from a curated collection of ciders each infused and brewed slightly differently makes you feel "rich" in the true sense of humanity and wellbeing. I recommend this unusual vision of communal gathering -- where you can wander between wooden beam-constructed huts in which various food vendors are selling specialty items, then gather to sit down and eat in a large tent. Here you can also enjoy open farm vistas, and explore some planted rows. There is whimsical art festooned around the collection of low-slung huts. The ground is not paved so you can feel as if you are in touch with the earth. My food choice was a bahn mi sandwich which was excellently executed with toasted bread, both tasty and filling. It used a tempeh made with wheat grown in Chimacum itself. It had beautifully pickled daikon, carrots, and cilantro while the mayo was warming. Missing jalapenos were compensated for with chili sauces that you could custom add. I washed this down with a small six ounce glass of a mix of ciders because I couldn't decide my favorite flavors (strawberry infused cider was my jam that day). Be aware that food vendors will be different depending on the day of your visit. I feel that the care & finesse with which the bahn mi was executed is an indication of the high caliber of curated, prepared food available for purchase at this "farm" experience. I have to say it's an improvement on the beer quality from the previous brewery not trying to sound like a jerk there... it's just how I genuinely feel on the matter. I already submitted the name change, business hours and website to Yelp to change so hopefully all of that is pushed through. I could just have reported that the business was closed that was here before but on social media it seems like Social Fabric was using the Discovery Bay accounts so I figured I's submit changes instead since that was the pattern I was seeing. As I have said I felt like the beer has improved and I had Social Fabric Brewing earlier in the summer at a taphouse in Port Angeles and when we heard that the brewery was opening their own taproom we decided to proceed and make a trip here as soon as Social Fabric was in operation. Now, onto the beer! I had a very nice Baltic Porter here called Mid Dark Energy which I really enjoyed with it's roastiness flavor profile to match up with the nippy weather we were experiencing. They also had some pretty creative beers on tap that we got tastes of like the PB & Jansport which was like a Peanut butter and jelly beer which I do like to sample when I see one and then the had the Pumpkin Beans which was a pumpkin beer that was very good also. Definitely a fun brewery to try and I walked away quite satisfied with the brewery that has taken over the helm at this location.

We just had one beer, I don't recall what exactly but I am sure it was tasty. What I liked most about this place is that they had food available, including vegan hot dogs. The price was very reasonable, only 5$ and it came with chips. It took 15 minutes or so, but usually when you are having a beer you are not in a rush. I appreciate that he came out with the basket of chips and you got to pick which kind you wanted. I also like that he brought out a condiment basket which included dill relish.
