I was mortified! But lo and behold, I found this clinic that must have been sent from the heavens, because after being tossed around from doctor to doctor, they're the only ones who have been able to clear my skin! One of the things to keep in mind is that because this clinic is mostly for cosmetic procedures, they do not accept insurance. I must admit, I was a little bit skeptical when they said they don't accept insurance, but I'm so glad I gave them a try or else I would've missed this gem. Every penny I paid had been worth it. I was assessed by Dr. Hayre (the dermatologist), and she prescribed me some topicals as well as an oral medication. She also recommended I do isolaz once a week, which I have been doing regularly. Ratana does my isolaz treatments each week, and she is fantastic! I always look forward to the appointments with her, she's so fun to talk to and is super gentle with the treatment and the extractions (which usually hurt so bad!!). I also have to thank them for being so accommodating toward me. My job is very hectic and sometimes I end up having to stay longer than expected, which makes it hard for me to make it to appointments on time sometimes. Every time this has happened the front desk has been nothing but patient and work hard to make sure that I can make it. They're amazing! Bottom line: if you want amazing skin, COME HERE!

After driving an hour to get there, I was informed upon arrival that my appointment had been canceled. I was told a voicemail had been left, but I never received it. What was most frustrating was that the staff made me feel as though accommodating me was an inconvenience, despite the cancellation being completely outside of my control. The experience only became more disappointing from there. During the treatment, I was told that this was merely a "demo" and that I should not expect any results. At no point in the promotion, booking process, or appointment confirmations was the service described as a demonstration treatment. Had that been disclosed upfront, I could have made an informed decision about whether the trip was worth my time. In total, I spent two hours driving round trip and nearly 1.7 hours at the office for a treatment that I was ultimately told was not intended to produce results. The lack of communication, poor handling of the scheduling issue, and misleading expectations surrounding the promotion left me feeling that my time was not valued. I hope Sanctuary Cosmetics improves its communication and transparency so future clients have a better experience than I did.

As a prospective customer visiting your center for the first time, I expected a higher level of customer care. A small parking issue could have been handled with empathy and a willingness to help, leaving me with a positive first impression. Instead, I felt dismissed. To add to my disappointment, the technician I met with told me she would call me the Monday after I returned from vacation to discuss next steps. It has now been three weeks, and I have yet to receive that call. It leaves me wondering whether my experience with the parking situation influenced the follow-up, or whether my interest as a potential client simply wasn't valued. I was genuinely considering investing in one of Sanctuary's treatment packages. However, the combination of the dismissive customer service and the lack of follow-up left a poor impression. So she advised dysport around my forehead and crows feet and we did a lip flip, and it was amazing. When I tell you I never knew how fresh and rested I could feel, not to mention see my lips look a little juicer. As a guy living in LA I had seen plenty of overdone faces and was terrified I would start looking artificial but the opposite was true, I started feeling the most like myself I had ever felt. I was hooked and flew back to DC for the next 3 years to see her. (Now I live in DC so its way easier) Since starting with Dysport and a Lip Flip I now get filler in my lips and have even tried Under Eye filler which was the most incredible addition. I also want to mention I was super nervous about the pain from needles but she was so sweet and patient with me and even recommended a dental block for when she does my lips! People never know I have gotten anything done and regularly comment on the face that I look 10 years younger than I am! All in all I would say that her talent is unmatched and the way that she views your face is like that of an artist.
