CAPE MAY: Barefoot Bar & Restaurant is a beachfront outdoor tiki bar with a full food and drink menu and leashed dogs are allowed! Open seasonally, from April-October, it is a perfect place to hang out to meet locals and tourists, grab lunch or dinner with a great cocktail list, and watch the game on their TVs under the bar. It is bright and fun and Brie was in her element saying hello to everyone. We loved their seasonal fall specials! The tiki bar is part of the The Marquis de Lafayette Hotel, a dog friendly hotel! Is your hotel pet friendly? * The first floor of the Marquis allows you to bring your furry friends along for the trip! The hotel must be notified of any pets at the time of making a reservation. Pets and Emotional Support Pets are only allowed on the first floor. Only service dogs with proper documentation are allowed in the elevators and on floors 2-6. Pets are allowed out on your balcony but not in the pool area. https://www.marquiscapemay.com

Awesome location!! Right across from the beach. Food and drinks are awesome. Live music after 3pm and the drinks are reasonably priced. They have a couple TVs for showing any sports that are happening. Definitely worth checking out.

It's a nice bar right in front of the beach. The service is good and there's live music starting around 4. The food is ok, it's what you expect. Got the chicken Ceasar wrap, buffalo chicken bites, jerk chicken sandwich, and burger. Everything was ok, if anything a bit on the salty side. It's a nice place to sit and grab a drink.

They closed at 7:30pm when online they said they close at 10pm! would've loved an $8 crush. Couldn't get it, walked 10+ mins to get there.

Walked in. Had to seat ourselves. Waited 10 minutes for a server. Left. Off season. Can't imagine how bad the service is prime season.

The special menu is from 5/20-5/22 you can choose either 1/4 pound cheeseburger , pit beef or ham sandwich, jumbo Texas chili dog, or homemade chicken vegetable soup for $5.00 each! We all choose either the cheeseburger or pit beef sandwich with fries. I wasn't expecting much for the $5.00 price but we were all impressed. Yeah , it was that good! The Fresh cut fries do not disappoint, and I loved the taste of the burger cooked over the flame outside . Every bite melted in my mouth and the smoky char was unreal. Delicious!

The only precaution I'd mention is to check the hours Belachew Stewart says he's busy catering on Saturday and Sunday. We went on a Friday night and I strongly recommend it!

It was a super hot night out so we asked to be seated inside and they were able to accommodate us. Apparently inside seating is actually reserved for walk-ins so good to know for those who can't get a Resy! The food was good enough but I think the ambiance of the place and the amazing service really made the experience worth it for me. Definitely don't skip the hanger steak--it's perfectly medium rare and juicy. The tomato toast was flavorful but the toast was pretty thick and hard to bite into especially around the crust, although that might just be a me problem. I look forward to doing a walk-in to try their dessert sometime before the pop-up wraps up!

Half the fun is looking around and trying to figure out which movie or TV show inspired each decoration. Christmas music plays nonstop. There's a fixed drink menu and no seating, so it's very much a stand-and-hang-out kind of place. From what we heard, it can get pretty packed later in the evening, but we arrived right when it opened at 4:00 PM and had no wait at all. It ended up being a great place to kick off the night. The cocktail list is entirely Christmas-themed--festive and fruity flavors. The cocktails are served in Christmas themed vessels. If cocktails aren't your thing, they do offer beer and seltzer options as well. It's a fun, high energy stop that's perfect for soaking in some holiday spirit.

Their non-dairy options are trash, not made in house, just Oatly tubs freezer burnt. Disappointing for a place that "makes" their own ice cream. Their dairy options are better, but depends on what you get. Options are: decent, freezer burnt, or bland. The bar is nice and the food from the kitchen is good. That's it's saving grace. Nice ciders, boozy shakes, and diner-style food. I hope they improve themselves more. . .
