I placed an order from Wings Over Springfield at 7:38 PM and received a confirmation saying my…read moreorder was received. The estimated delivery time showed 8:05 PM, but by 8:30 PM I still had not received anything or heard from the restaurant. When I called to check on it, I was told the delivery service they use had my order stolen. The frustrating part is that nobody contacted me to let me know. If I had not called, I would have just been waiting with no update. They offered to remake the order, but said it would take another hour. At that point, I had already waited almost an hour and still had no food. I understand things can happen with delivery, but the lack of communication was unacceptable. Customers should be notified right away when there is a problem with their order.

Whatever they do here, they seem to have it down pat. Our service was fast, friendly and polite. Our food was phenomenal. For someone who had never ordered steamers, I did here! I was not disappointed. No where have I had cleaner clams. Perfectly dunked into the butter draw. So fresh! Tried the aloha burger and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were cooked near perfection. Must note that the veggies on the burgers- lettuce, tomato and red onion were unbelievably fresh and crisp tasting. The grilled pineapple on my burger, i was unsure if it would be soggy, let me assure you that mine was not. It was just perfect all the way. Thank you all who work and run this Tavern! Their pizza is way better than most pizza around here, so I think it's well worth the price. Staff was lovely, atmosphere and amenities are bright, clean, awesome. But... You can't redo the whole place, build a nice bar, put beer and wine signs everywhere, and then charge $7 for a Bud Light, $12 for a Jess, and $21 yes, $21 for a Tito's and soda. You're playing the short game. This is a neighborhood with working class families that would love to splurge and support your business - please consider that bar prices aren't listed and when they come on a tab and are double standard pricing it feels predatory.
