    Cucumber Salad... perfect. $4.95
    Christian K.

OK... A New Found Glory I *Yelped* "bbq" and this place popped up as second closest... the closest was Famous Dave's but, Barbecue Sakebob seemed way more interesting. Right as I walked in I did a double take on the "People Love Us On Yelp" sticker. I don't think I've seen one in real life before... coolness. Pic- http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/_bXmv62evP8MJ0iVcmgM7w?select=K2uqGdi1AL6UrTQU0-Gn7Q . Here's the skinny: Decor - some people don't like it... I'm meh... about it too. The Cucumber Salad - Sweet Baby Jesus... Loved it! Lunch Box Specials - cheap and plenty of food. Shochu Martini - Ermagerd - must try. Here's the fat: OK, so the decor is a bit "cheap" or whatever a previous reviewer said... I'm good with it. Though "Visual Appeal" has a lot to do with the atmosphere of a place I still believe it's the crowd, the employees and the general warmth(not temperature) of a place. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted very nicely, asked if it was my first time yada, yada, yada... sat down(2:15 ish) and immediately was lost. My server was more than happy to point out what's they're specialty and what people order the most, she made it real easy for me - I liked that. First thing I went for because it looked awesome on the menu was the Cucumber Salad. I thought it was pretty darn perfect, little bit of crab, lots of fresh cucumber, sesame seeds (I think) in a sauce that was sweet and slightly sour. Not like Sweet and Sour sauce, something all together different. I'd recommend it, especially for the price - $4.95 Picture - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/_bXmv62evP8MJ0iVcmgM7w?select=GgI89Pav32WIz0n3jvHneA The Chicken Lunchbox Special is ridiculous, for $7.95 you get Miso Soup, White Rice, 4 California Rolls, some Tempura, a Green Salad(good freaking dressing) and a small portion of Teriyaki Chicken. Picture- http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/_bXmv62evP8MJ0iVcmgM7w?select=OHYzlIL4MBio9CgZqlvong Miso soup - came out super hot, was very tasty and I liked the little mini tofu cubes... cute. The salad that comes with the Lunchbox was simple, nothing special but, it was fresh and the dressing was great. They've got the Chicken to Rice ratio down pretty good. Chicken was nice and tender, good flavor and sauce, the rice was... well, rice. Cali. rolls I'm not a big sushi buff so I can't really judge these too much but, I liked 'em they were pretty darn good. I'm not a fan of the Tempura, it was nice and crispy but, to me something was missing... can't put my finger on it though. Ahhh... the Shochu Martini... This thing is sofa king light, citrusy and refreshing, it's a serious competitor for "Best Drink I Ever Had" top 5 for sure. Picture - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/_bXmv62evP8MJ0iVcmgM7w?select=P3xgwRPsQz3YeoLyl7NQSg Barbeque Sakebob is a place that'd I'm coming back to, at least for the lunch specials. The whole meal I had today was $20.64 plus tip... if you're wondering pricing. SYOY

    Happy Hour!

Definitely one of my favorite sushi places! I highly recommend the Las Vegas roll, but then again there isn't much that I wouldn't recommend off the sushi menu. Happy Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays are a great deal! Service and staff is wonderful! The owners are fun and down to earth people too. They're part of the reason my friends, and I come back. If you look closely, you can probably find our pictures on the wall. Also for those of you who are karaoke fans, they've got Magic Mic!! =)

Plenty of rolls to choose from and the happy hour menu is definitely worth it! The plum wine goes well with every dinner!

Ok so new review cuz different experience. First, new carpaccio dish is delicious. Large slices of…read moreassorted very fresh fish with a light delightful sauce and nice garnishes. I ended up dipping my sashimi pieces in the sauce. The baked mussels are always yummy. Seaweed salad is a huge portion, way more than expected so hopefully they don't charge if you don't finish it by yourself! Tempura veggies were good but somehow the tempura shrimp seemed almost like the frozen ones you get at the grocery store, but the usual super light tempura, but still good. Dragon roll is my favorite though it could use more eel than avocado on top. Only yucky thing was Spicy 2 in 1c which menu says is spicy tuna, salmon & avocado inside, wrapped in soybean paper with chili sauce but instead came with avocado on top with a TON of plain mayo under the licensure sauce. I think it's in a previous photo but honestly this time it was drenched and really, I hate plain mayo so I tried to scrape it off but it was overwhelming & had to lose the avocado when I scraped it off so I just couldn't eat it. The fish seemed to have been cut with a lot of tempura flake also so it wasn't even luscious like it should be with just fish and spicy mayo, and there was quite a lot of rice too, so it was very bland. The server Satya was SUPER nice & apologetic, offered to redo without mayo, but I was just kind of done by then; he was great all around l, nit his fault. So I got my delightful tempura banana and called it a day. Suggestion is to clearly state what's on/in the rolls to avoid misunderstanding. The menu photo does not show mayo on top at all. Finally, note that Sat & Sun are dinner prices for AYCE even at lunch which I didn't know until I sat down but was already set for sushi so paid the $42 with tax/tip for lunch and felt kinda unhappy. I didn't get that much so didn't feel with it. Quality, ambiance, and service are still good and I do recommend with these caveats.

Everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their customers. You can tell they put so much love and pride into everything they do. The sushi is some of the best we've ever had, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality. Our favorites are the Chicago Bears Roll, Summer Roll, Fire Dragon, and the Philadelphia Roll -- and they're always so accommodating with customizations (we love adding jalapeño to the Philadelphia!). Beyond the amazing food, their generosity and kindness really stand out. It's rare to find a business where you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer, and that's exactly how we feel every time we come here. We truly can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Amazing food, amazing people, amazing prices, and an incredible local business that deserves all the support. If you haven't tried it yet, GO! You won't regret it!
