C009. Beef Teriyaki Stick - well seasoned and pretty tender.

Runa Izakaya is one of those really good strip-mall sushi joints you find scattered throughout the suburbs outside of any urban area. Decent service and consistently decent product served in a clean and modern environment. This one happens to be close to home, so it's a go-to spot for us. They do offer a full menu here of Cantonese, Japanese and Thai entrees - which is nice. We've only ever ordered items off the Cantonese and Japanese menus, and they have all been above average. The pricing at Runa Izakaya is in-line with other area Asian restaurants, so there's really no reason to go elsewhere! They do a great job here with tasty food in a nice, relaxing space!

The food was delicious! I wish I could have eaten here multiple times but I'm from out of town unfortunately.

Sushi deluxe with cucumber salad and miso soup, jumbo shrimp fried rice, and vegetable tempura

This restaurant is in a strip mall off of 183rd and Harlem. It is quaint and the staff is warm and friendly. They have a large-screen TV at the bar and the few patrons that were sitting there were watching a football game. Their menu is extensive with so many Chinese and Japanese dishes to choose from. Their Thai section is limited. We ordered carryout: sushi deluxe which came with miso soup and cucumber salad, jumbo shrimp fried rice, and vegetable tempura. Everything was good. We'll be back when we are in the area.

Not authentic Japanese food there but it does the job. Also lunch rollers has good value and okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza) tastes good as well. Service is quick and polite. Over all not bad at all for Japanese food you get at Tinley Park.

Was looking for a place to grab dinner before attending a concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. A sushi craving brought me to this strip mall. We ordered 3 rolls to share between 2 people and each roll was stellar!! I think it was the perfect amount of food; it left me satisfied but not stuffed. Nobody wants to roll up to a concert in a food coma. We shared the Godzilla, Angel Face, and Chicago White Sox Roll. If you enjoy cream cheese in your sushi rolls, then these are the picks for you. Each roll had such great flavor and textures. I believe there was a special deal on rolls for a Sunday as well, so we paid much less than we usually do for sushi. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. I also loved their big parking lot. I really enjoyed this spot. I am only ever in the Tinley Park area for concerts, but am making this a must-see before any more shows.

Crispy, crunchy and very good. Portion was very small in relation to the price. I had Pad See Ew whichbis a broad flat noodle w some broccoli, bok choi, and tofu in a sauce. The portion was moderate in relation to the price. It was unbelievably and *overbearing* in the sodium content. It was basically a salt bomb, sadly. Very few dainty sized vegetables, decent portion of tofu and plenty of noodles. Since I was totally alone, I did share my concern about the sodium to my server in a kind and polite manner. Her response was there's another restaurant about 5 minutes from here and that I should go there and eat. She spoke in a polite manner, matter-of-fact demeanor. So, I will not be returning. $30 for food and I paid 20٪ for the tip even though I was offended by her reply. The value was not there for vegetables. Restaurant has lovely ambiance and is sparkling clean. I was there for about 50 minutes and was the only patron the entire time. Not worth $36!

We ordered for pickup and the food was ready in just 15 minutes. The inside felt modern and minimal, with limited seating and a steady crowd of diners and takeout customers, which is always a good sign. We tried the shrimp spring rolls, chicken Pad Thai, drunken noodles with chicken, and the chicken pineapple fried rice. First off, those shrimp spring rolls? 10/10. Super fresh, light, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. The Pad Thai--Oy's signature dish--was the highlight. Easily the best I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The drunken noodles were right behind it--loaded with flavor and a sneaky little heat. We went with the normal spice level, but beware: those little red peppers pack a serious punch. (Keep a tissue handy... or a glass of milk. Or both.) The pineapple fried rice was solid. Not quite as bold or savory as Chinese-style fried rice, but still tasty and a nice complement to the spicier mains. Overall, Oy's delivers some of the best Thai food in the south suburbs. The menu is short and sweet, but every dish is cooked to order--and it shows. If you're new to Thai food or just looking to level up your takeout game, this spot is absolutely worth it.

Disappointing Banh Xeo - Not Traditional As a returning…read morecustomer who has enjoyed other dishes at Thithi's in the past, I was very disappointed with the Banh Xeo. It is listed as a Vietnamese crepe, but instead of the traditional, crispy rice flour crepe meant to be torn and wrapped in lettuce, I received a soft, soggy, French-style crepe. Because it lacked that essential crispiness, the crepe completely fell apart, making it impossible to wrap in lettuce or dip into the sauce. Furthermore, instead of being served with adequate traditional herbs and leafy lettuce, it came with standard iceberg lettuce. When I voiced these concerns to my waitress, she simply told me "that's how it's made" and made no effort to correct the dish or offer an alternative. I expected a much higher standard of authenticity and customer service from Thithi's restaurant.
